When Eunuch Ma saw the guard’s expression, he knew he was poisoned! He glanced at Su Ruoxi timidly, he pointed around as his mouth moved. However, nobody understood him.
“If you don’t want your finger, you can continue pointing at me!” Su Ruoxi said calmly.
Eunuch Ma stopped pointing immediately. He was afraid that she might really do it. He looked at the guard beside him and pushed the imperial edict into his hands. “Announce the imperial edict for me!”
When he spoke, the guard had no reaction. He tried to convey the message by gesturing, in the end, he had to resort to writing on the guard’s palm!
“Eunuch Ma, you want me to announce the imperial edict?” The guard asked in disbelief.
“Yes! Hurry, announce the imperial edict, or you will be killed!” Eunuch Ma wrote in anger. He wanted to arrest her quickly so that she could hand over the antidote!
