Any more meetings between Si Hoon and Alex cannot not be allowed. That was the verdict Kang Yu passed after listening to their dialogue. This guest was too honest and fair.
“How can a person be like this a General?”
When Kang Yu heard what Alex was saying, he was frankly shocked. He was not even a comic book character, but spoke such words with so much confidence.
“You won’t find such a person even in a comic book now,” Kang Yu laughed.
Kang Yu wasn’t even amused by his words about saving people and protecting the weak. He knew that this kind of behavior was praised. Even though he himself wasn’t such a person, he couldn’t mock Alex’s behavior and say that it was all bullshit.
“But certainly not ‘all’.”
Kang Yu remembered how Alex said that Si Hoon could save all the people. As soon as Kang Yu heard those words, he could no longer take the man seriously. Even if Si Hoon believed it, he simply wouldn’t be able to do it physically. But Alex pronounced it so confidently that Kang Yu just couldn’t help but get used to his words. And it got seriously bad the moment he mentioned a cure that would help turn hellcats back into humans.
It was like waiting for a cure that will help those zombies to become human beings in the movies.
“He seems to be fully confident in his altruistic ideas.”
Kang Yu had already encountered something like this once.
Although he didn’t know exactly what Alex was like yet, he had a very vague attitude towards him.
“It’s better to see for yourself.”
Sometimes there were moments when it was impossible to know anything, but this was not such a situation.
Kang Yu wasn’t the person who would let that gracious Player go so easily. Kang Yu used the Power of Hiding and followed Alex.
“Oh” he sighed. “I didn’t think I would be rejected like that,” mumbled Alex under his nose.
Apparently, he was very upset that Si Hoon refused to join the ranks of the Guardians.
“But I must convince him!” he shouted out, clenched his fists.
The expression on Kang Yu’s face contorted.
“And he is annoying.”
He did not like it at all.
Considering that Si Hoon was under his control, it was not difficult to make him refuse. But he couldn’t change the influence he had on him. And this very influence of Alex on Si Hoon would not help him in any way. On the contrary, it was very likely that he would become a hindrance.
“Should I make him fall behind Si Hoon?” Kang Yu’s eyes sparkled.
If Alex didn’t give up, Kang Yu would find another way to solve the problem.
“Who are you?” Alex shouted while Kang Yu was thinking.
“Did I really get caught?” Kang Yu raised his head, but Alex’s gaze was not towards him.
He was looking somewhere in a deserted alley.
“I can feel your presence.”
“You…” Some man came out of the alley.
He had a black mantle, a red devil’s mask, a powerful Magi…
In an instant, Alex wore a formidable look.
“Did you get to this place as well?”
“You have to pay the price for ruining our plan.”
Alex pulled out his sword. The masked man responded by exposing his hands with long nails which were like the claws of wild animals.
“Is this the same mercenary he was talking about?”
Kang Yu went up to the roof of a building next to him and continued to watch what was happening.
Alex mentioned the harassment he received from the Hellenic teachers. And given the question Alex asked this man, the probability that this was the case was quite high.
“It’s time to see what you can do,” Kang Yu laughed.
It was a great opportunity to learn more about Alex. It would be even better if he died during this battle, because in that case, Alex Osborne would never appear before Si Hoon again.
“Well, let’s see,” Kang Yu watched with interest at the play that was unfolding downstairs.
The dialogue reached him:
“It’s time to give up.”
“Don’t be so arrogant this time!” There was a voice filled with hatred.
Kang Yu was frowning.
“This time?”
Why did he say that? Mercenaries don’t have chances. If they fail, they wouldn’t let him change the situation. If you don’t kill them, they will kill you. But from their dialogue he could understand that they probably had met before.
“What is going on?”
Kang Yu continued to observe.
The two people downstairs started the fight almost immediately. The masked man’s claws stretched forward, aimed at Alex. But he deflected the attack with a sword. A white light emitted from his sword which filled everything around him.
The fight continued. The mercenary had excellent skills, and the magi coming from him was incredibly strong. Now it was clear why he dared to come to the Player from World Ranker.
Nevertheless, he did not lose his mind, despite of having such a strong Magi. He acted cleanly, but attacked clearly. The masked man handled the Magi much better than Park Kang Hyun and the Japanese Hellenic Teacher.
“However…”
Alex’s sword shone. It repulsed another attack and made a lunge.
He was very good at sword technique. Kang Yu even thought that he had made his actions automatic, because of which the movements seemed so perfect.
“Is that why he became a defender?”
His movements were perfect, even better than those of a gifted man like Si Hoon.
“Alex will win.”
Although the fight was not over yet, it was not so difficult to predict the outcome.
Kang Yu’s face turned pale. He was hoping for Alex’s defeat.
“Ah!” The mercenary who had been furiously ranting until now fell to the ground.
Alex came up to him holding a sword.
“Kill me,” said the follower in a quiet voice, realizing that he had lost again.
“The end?”
It was only necessary to raise the sword and cut off its head. Kang Yu, waiting for something more spectacular, bumped his tongue.
“I can’t.”
“What?”
Alex said what Kang Yu wasn’t expecting to hear. He widened his eyes in disbelief.
“Every person’s life is important. And yours is no different from others.”
“What kind of nonsense is he talking about here?”
“Stop being a Hellenic Teacher. Let go of your sins and start a new life.”
Kang Yu’s mouth dropped open. He didn’t know how to react to such a situation. He didn’t believe in what was happening and looked at Alex.
“Is he out of his mind?
Did Alex just tell the person who tried to kill him, to absolve his sins and start living a new life? Who in his right mind would think of that?
He was not a God to throw such words around.
“Yes, you are delusional again.”
“This time I intend to change your mind. Take my hand. I will help you to build a new life” Alex held out his hand to the mercenary.
Which, of course, he did not take.
Kang Yu once again looked at Alex strangely.
“Well, really…”
And the problem was not at all in justice. How would people who got into such a situation behave? Well, certainly not so.
“Psycho”.
When you tell a person who tried to kill you, the value of life is kindness,
“It’s just stupidity”.
He is either crazy or he has no brains at all – that’s the only reason. How could a person who has committed a series of murders confess his sins and start living a new life? Kang Yu, who could not understand what was happening, scratched the back of his head.

The mercenary lying on the ground put his hand in his pocket and threw something forward. Together with the explosion, the black smoke filled the whole alley. The mercenary quickly got up and rushed to run away. Alex also ran after him.
“Hold it right there!”
“I will pay you back for this humiliation!” He shouted out and ran out of the alley.
At that moment, a girl turned into the alley. But not a single shout followed even when she was met with such a huge force from the impact which cause her to be thrown aside.
“Aaaah!”
Alex, who was chasing him, froze on the spot, and his mouth opened. The girl who collided against him was thrown back against the wall and she immediately died.
“No… no!” Alex lifted the dead body from the ground, and a wild cry came out of his mouth.
“Why?! How?!”
Tears were pouring out of his eyes. He remained still while crying for the dead girl in his arms. Kang Yu simply watched him from above.
“Well, why did that happen?”
Didn’t he understand such an obvious reason?
“I can’t look at it anymore.”
If Kang Yu continued in the same way, he would just feel bad. He didn’t want to tolerate it and went down.
At that moment, the sobbing Alex got up and left the alley.
“Well, what are you doing?”
“Kang Yu…?” he was a little shocked by the person who showed up in front of him.
“Why didn’t you kill the mercenary?”
“Did you see everything…?”
“Answer me.”
When he put his hand on the sword handle, he answered:
“Every life is important. Even if he is a Hellish Teacher, it does not make him different. He is also alive and you can’t just kill him.”
“Ha!” Kang Yu grinned, “Is that why an innocent person should die?”
Alex didn’t answer.
“If you had killed that monster in time, the woman would not have been hurt. It was your mistake. You can think that you killed her with your own twochands,” Kang Yu said through his teeth.
Alex kept silent, but in the end, he answered:
“What are you talking about? Which innocent person?”
“What?”
“Of course, I missed Hell’s Teacher, but there were no other victims.”
“What are you talking about? A girl just died,” Kang Yu pointed to the dead girl in an alley.
Alex also moved his head to look at her.
“Where?”
“What…?”
Alex looked at Kang Yu with bewilderment.
“There’s nothing there.”
