“Not sure. Probably she has something else to attend to.”
“Unlike all of you, she does not have a chauffeur. She has to take a taxi to get here. So isn’t it understandable that she is running late?”
“I didn’t know you could be this abrasive, Liu Piaopiao!” As indifferent as Xiao An’an appeared, deep inside she wished they could be more baleful in their words, disparaging the person whom she hated.

The group of cheerfully talkative, pretty bridesmaids was attracting attention at the wedding.
The strong lineup of bridesmaids was another focal point other than the bride.
Someone came up to them, reminding them the moment had come.

“Go get the champagne and glasses, Shaoyun!”
“You get the party poppers, Ranran!”
“You get the red packets, Piaopiao!”
“Hurry up!”
The bridesmaids split at once to get things ready, then came back to stand behind the bride.
The wedding ceremony was just about to begin, Lin Xiaomiao became nervous like hell. She looked back at her bridesmaids. “What should I do? I am super nervous.”
Xia An’an held her hand and comforted her. “Weddings are a joyous moment in life. Why the nervousness? Relax and show the best side of you, be the most beautiful bride in the world.”
Lin Xiaomiao took a deep breath and nodded.
Only then she discovered that someone was missing in her team of bridesmaids.
“Why hasn’t Shen Chen arrived yet?”

“Why should I be embarrassed?” A voice suddenly came, sounding pleasant yet calm.
They looked back and could not be more shocked.
Shen Chen looked a million dollars today, virtually impeccable.
She wore a tube top long dress that showcased her body curves. The limited-edition necklace wrapping around her neck was even more eye-catching.
On her neck was also a lifelike rose tattoo that gave out a brilliant gorgeousness under the sun.
Just like what Shen Zhongming said, she was perfect except for her ill-temper.
Her appearance was making the others look ugly.
“Shen Chen?”
They were transfixed for a long while before making out who she was.
“Stop calling my name. You all are disgusting!” Shen Chen raised an eyebrow, her voice frosty. What a terrific way of slapping them in the face.
Of course, Lin Xiaomiao did not want to make a fool of herself in her wedding. “I’m glad you have come, Shen Chen. Get ready, the ceremony is about to begin.” She quickly tried to smooth things over.
“I don’t think so.” Her voice was cold as if she was reminding them about what they had said behind her back.
Among them, only Xiao An’an appeared unruffled. “If you don’t want to be a bridesmaid, then why are you here?”
Shen Chen could not give a hoot. “I come because I want to. Stay out of this, it’s none of your business.”
“An’an!” Lin Xiaomiao grabbed Xia An’an hand just in time and shot her a look. “Please don’t.”
