By the next second, Mu Yu felt a sinking sensation on the part of the bed next to her. Her eyes met with Qin Jinhuan’s as soon as she turned aside, and she felt a sudden anxiousness.
Goodness. She really hoped that he didn’t take this as her coming on to him, making him want to continue even further.
She did not mean it like that at all!
She immediately rolled to the side, took hold of a pillow and put it in between them. She bellowed, “What are you doing?!”
Crap! The scalpel is still in the bag on the sofa, and it’s too far away! Even if she instantly jumped down the bed, he wouldn’t let her have the chance to get the scalpel.
Fortunately, Qin Jinhuan did not chase after her. He gently got up and glared at her silently.

It was as if the air around them had frozen, leaving only the song from the computer echoing throughout the room.
After a long pause, Qin Jinhuan finally moved. Mu Yu retreated instinctively, as if she was facing an enemy. She shouted anxiously, “You better not do anything funny! We have a deal! If you try something funny, then the agreement will be off! Don’t blame me for not playing by the rules when grandpa needs me!”
This was her only trump card.
“Hmph!” Qin Jinhuan nonchalantly glanced at her. “I, Qin Jinhuan, have never run out of women, especially a woman like you.”
“Then why did you kiss me? And threw me on the bed? Isn’t this absolutely obvious that…” She immediately stopped, realizing that she might anger Beast Qin if she were to continue talking. She quickly changed her tone and meekly apologized, “I’m sorry, I misunderstood…”
She let out a sigh of relief as she got off the bed.
She thought she was safe, but Qin Jinhuan unexpectedly pounced on her, stretched out his arms to hold her down. He pulled at her violently, and before she could let out a scream, he sat up on her, and restrained both of her hands, restricting her movements.

Qin Jinhuan ignored her, as he held her hands over her head, and used his hand to subdue her. To maintain his lowered body posture, he used another hand to support him.
Seeing his face getting closer and his masculine odour getting stronger to the point of having herself drowned in it, Mu Yu’s face turned white with fright. Her intimidating voices changed into pleas as she responded, “Don’t act recklessly. Don’t.”
It was all Wenwen’s fault, since she put those kinds of thoughts into her mind. It made her do something drastic by coming on to him.
Please dear Lord, I am already regretting this.
Qin Jinhuan suddenly slid off her when she was sincerely praying. She instantly felt relieved, and before she could whisper her gratitude to the Lord, she immediately noticed that something was not right.
The reason why he slid off wasn’t because he wanted to let her go, but so that he could let go of his other hand that was supporting him.
Goodness! He’s not thinking of…

Her whole body tensed up, and she shook her head vigorously. She squirmed around and snapped at him.
Qin Jinhuan did not proceed to any further action after holding her in place with his hands. He did not reply to any of her roars, and he only stared at her with his lips pursed.
Mu Yu stopped struggling after realizing that everything that she did was in vain. She felt alarmed as he was staring down at her.
Calm down, Mu Yu! Calm down! Don’t lose your cool!
Beast Qin has not taken any alcohol, so his mind must be sober. Perhaps he just wants to take advantage of you, or teach you a lesson. He won’t do anything to you so don’t be scared. Just calm down!
She stopped struggling and yelling at last, and she did not even dare to breathe too loudly. She only took side glances at him, as she still did not have the courage to look at him in the eye. She continued to pray for him to let her go.
The air around them seemed to freeze once again.
The pressure made Mu Yu start sweating as time crawled. Yet, she still did not make any movement, and just lay there as she quivered, awaiting his next action.
“Scared?” Qin Jinhuan finally spoke after a long pause.
“Huh?” Mu Yu stared at him cautiously for a few seconds before finally replying weakly, “Yes.”
“What are you scared of?”
“I’m scared that you… Scared that you’re going to…” Mu Yu was afraid to say the words ‘attack me’, as she was afraid that he might be enraged. Then that would just make things worse.
“Scared that I’ll what? Say it!”
Qin Jinhuan’s sudden bellow frightened her. She was afraid that if she did not answer him, he might snap, but she was also afraid of telling him the truth. She replied, “Scared that you will scold me.”
Qin Jinhuan snickered, “You were afraid that I might assault you, right?”
“No, you won’t do that.” Mu Yu smiled meekly and replied, “You are a civilized and educated gentleman. You wouldn’t do something as filthy as this.”
“You’re wrong. I did plan to do that to you.” He continued with his cold voice after feeling her body shivered, “Do you know why I wanted to do that?”
Mu Yu shook her head in fear.
“What did I tell you in the morning?
Mu Yu instinctively tried to get up, as she could feel Qin Jinhuan’s grip loosening.
“Lie down!”
She immediately lay back as his roar startled her.
“What did I say to you in the morning?”
Hearing him repeating this question, Mu Yu would be a fool if she still did not know what taboo she had committed.
Stunned, she weakly explained after a few seconds, “I greeted him because we bumped into each other by accident. I hope you don’t misunderstand.”
“Did I allow you to greet him?”
“He is Yihan’s friend, so wouldn’t it be rude if I saw but didn’t greet him?” Mu Yu regretted it instantly after giving such a reply.
Because Xin Yihan was Qin Jinhuan’s taboo too.
As expected, Qin Jinhuan was definitely annoyed. He suddenly grabbed her by the collar of her blouse, and stared at her with fury. He growled, “If you dare to say ‘Yihan’ in front of me again, I will immediately ravage you.”

Qin Jinhuan let her off roughly, and looked at her with a cold, piercing gaze.
“When I see Yihan… Uhm… Xin Yihan,” Mu Yu shrunk in fear, and sneaked a glance at Qin Jinhuan. She continued after seeing no response from him, “I’ll walk around him. And try to not be alone with a person of the opposite sex.”
“Why did you ignore what I told you?”
“I didn’t, I was just…”
“You’re talking back to me?”
“I was wrong. I understand that I was wrong, so I won’t make the same mistakes again. Please forgive me, just this once.” Mu Yu did not dare to go against him, even though she felt that she was wronged. She surrendered immediately.
“Since you are being very sincere, I will let what happened tonight slide. It was just a little lesson for you, but if you dare to do this a second time…”

It was fine if he didn’t sympathize with Yan Xiaobing, since Sun Meilan’s death had caused trouble to the Qing Tian Group. But regarding Yihan and Yi Yunzhe, she was only having a few words with them. Did it even warrant for her to be bullied like that?

Qin Jinhuan was already out of the room when she finished taking her bath. She let out a sigh of relief, and silently placed the scalpel at the bedside cabinet. She went to bed after positioning the pillows on the bed.
She still kept her guard up, as she feared that Qin Jinhuan might come back to harass her. But in the end, he never came back even when she started feeling sleepy.
Knock, knock, knock.
Rhythmic knockings could be heard from the door, waking Mu Yu up. Realizing that it was already morning, she looked to the side of the bed, but there was no sight of Qin Jinhuan. She felt a little wary.
Did he not come back last night? Is it him knocking at the door?
She immediately ran to the door and opened it, but to her surprise, it was a room attendant with an apologetic look on her face. She said, “I’m sorry Mrs. Qin. I thought you’ve already woken up.”
“Owh, it’s alright. I was planning to get up anyway.”
The room attendant let out a sigh of relief, and reminded her kindly, “Mrs. Qin, the breakfast buffet on the third floor will end within half an hour. If you want to have your breakfast, you will need to hurry up.”

Mu Yu quickly cleaned herself up as the room attendant cleaned the room. She made a beeline to the third floor.

Mu Yu remembered Qin Jinhuan’s warning from yesterday when she saw Yi Yunzhe. Her heart skipped a beat, and she quickly decided to turn around and leave the place.
“Yu, you just came for breakfast too?”
Upon hearing Yi Yunzhe’s greetings, Mu Yu silently exclaimed ‘oh no’ under her breath. She stood there for a while, not knowing whether to leave or to stay.
