Qin Nuan quickly tugged at Qin Shi’s hand and started whining relentlessly, “Brother, I’m not going to be an idol this time. I’ll be an actress, alright? Pretty please? I really, really love to perform! I’ll take acting seriously, and I’ll definitely come back with a Best Actress award!”

Once Qin Nuan started whining coquettishly like this, Qin Shi’s defenses caved in. He called his secretary in with a sad look on his face.

“CEO Qin, what do you need me to do?”

“Tell marketing to pick a few scripts from a media company.”

The secretary looked at him with a confused expression. “CEO Qin, since when did our company start investing in the media entertainment industry?”

Qin Shi raised an eyebrow over one of this almond-shaped eyes. “We didn’t before, but now we do! My younger sister wants to act! So get the best script and make the biggest investment possible so that my sister can have fun filming.”

Qin Nuan exclaimed, “Brother! You’re the best brother I have!”

Qin Nuan’s heartfelt really warm. She didn’t have any family in the world she came from and never experienced familial love before. Since Qin Shi doted on her so much, she told herself that she had to become stronger to protect her brother, protect her family, and protect the Qin Group.

After staying in an apartment under her own name for three days, Qin Nuan had sorted out all the memories from the previous owner of her body properly. She then received a message from the artist management company that Qin Shi found for her, and she was to sign the contract the next day.

Warm Hues Media Entertainment was the best media entertainment company in the country. They had many A-list celebrities under them, and they had produced and invested in several highly raved works.

Apparently, she had been able to get in because Qin Shi’s friend had made a recommendation.

When she thought about how she was going to sign on with a new management company and be able to return to her starting point and work from the bottom again, Qin Nuan saw a beautiful future ahead of her.

The next day, Qin Shi drove personally to pick her up and sent her to Warm Hues Media Entertainment.

When Qin Nuan reached the manager’s office, the door was open. She knocked on the door lightly, and the short-haired woman sitting at the desk looked up. She was in her early thirties and was dressed very smartly.

Her eyes lit up when she looked at Qin Nuan’s features and seemed rather surprised.

“Someone recommended by Brother Zhan is really out of the ordinary after all. Miss Qin, please come in and have a seat.”

Qin Nuan sat down comfortably in the office and took the coffee that the short-haired woman offered her. She went into a daze for a while when the woman mentioned ‘Brother Zhan’ before she finally recalled who he was.

Song Zhan was a friend of her brother. He was a good actor who had won the Best Actor award at only 25 years old. In the book, he was the devoted second male lead character.

The short-haired woman sat down across from Qin Nuan and introduced herself first. “My name is Tan Xue. You can just call me Sister Tan from now on.”

Then she looked at Qin Nuan and smiled, “I’ve looked through your information. You’re much prettier in person than in photos.”

“I’ve been complimented by a famous manager who’s seen countless beauties! I feel like my head is swelling up!” Qin Nuan fluttered her eyelashes.

Tan Xue laughed and took the contract out. Her working style was similar to Qin Nuan’s – they both liked doing everything neatly and didn’t like unnecessary delays.

Qin Nuan took the contract from Tan Xue and started reading the terms very carefully. She had been cheated by a management company before, so she became especially serious when signing another contract.

But Warm Hues Media Entertainment’s contract was very fair. They gave their artists several rights, and the contract even stated that their artists all had some say over what jobs they accepted. This was very different from most media entertainment companies within the country.

Qin Nuan read through every single page of the contract before finally picking up a pen to sign it off.

Tan Xue noticed that Qin Nuan had been extremely serious when reading the contract and felt that this young lady wasn’t anxious or impatient and was serious about being an artist. She wasn’t just one of those wealthy families’ daughters who wanted to enter the entertainment industry for fun.

After signing the contract, Tan Xue picked an assistant for Qin Nuan, then took a few photos at the company to serve as her official profile photos.
