My Left Eye Can See Ghosts - Chapter 56

“Is there anyone… Help me…” Teacher Four-eyes curled up on the floor and cried out painfully. It was like he was crying.

The bloody cuts on his body made me frightened.

It must be so painful especially since he’s hurt so badly.

I forced myself to calm down, turned around, and ran to the staff dormitory. I saw a young male teacher but I didn’t know which class he was from. I stopped him and said, “Please save a person. My class teacher is there with blood all over his body.”

He looked slightly surprised and dashed towards the direction I pointed.

I didn’t follow him and wanted to sneak away. The young teacher carried Teacher Four-eyes out before I could run a few steps.

He ran in a hurry and went straight to the direction of the infirmary. I thought to myself that Teacher Four-eyes should be sent to the hospital immediately as he was so severely injured that even his eyes were dug out.

However, I didn’t need to worry about the rest.

I hurried back to the dormitory, and Cheng Fengfeng was already waiting for me impatiently.

She had already packed her luggage and was waiting for me.

“Hurry up. We have to go to Teacher Wu’s place,” She urged me.

I did not rush to fold the messy clothes on the bed as it would be taken back home to wash. Studying was taxing in school, and I could not find any time to spare, but there was a new automatic washing machine at home. I could just throw my clothes in to wash without worrying about anything. It was very convenient.

“You keep dilly-dallying. Move aside and let me do it.”

She stepped forward, pulled me aside, and stuffed my clothes into my backpack without any hesitation. She was dexterous and helped me pack everything quickly, but I normally did not like my things to be stuffed like that.

“Let’s go.”

She threw the backpack to me, turned to pick up her bag, and walked out of the dormitory hurriedly.

We followed the flow of people walking out of the school and Cheng Fengfeng’s car was already waiting at the door.

I found out that there was a driver in the car only after she pulled me into the car. He was a middle-aged man and did not look like Cheng Fengfeng at all. He was most likely a driver.

“Uncle Song, don’t go home yet. Go to Sunshine Psychological Counseling Centre.”

Cheng Fengfeng spoke.

The driver looked back at her in surprise. She smiled at the driver, pointed at me cleverly, and said with a grin, “I’m accompanying her there.”

For God’s sake.

She clarified that I had a psychological problem, and I could not expose her in public.

I rolled my eyes at her, and she patted my shoulder lightly to comfort me. I didn’t say anything as I was too lazy to bother with her.

The car drove out of the school and went to Sunshine Psychological Counseling Centre.

It was already five o’clock in the afternoon.

Cheng Fengfeng asked the driver to wait outside. She then pulled me out of the car and quickly walked into the studio.

Teacher Wu was alone, and his assistant seemed to have already gotten off from work. He smiled at us when he saw us arrive on time and motioned us to follow him into the bathroom.

The light in the bathroom was on. There was only a tiny ventilation window, and the toilet was small, but the sink was half-filled with blood.

The smell of blood was strong and intense and I couldn’t help but frown.

Teacher Wu said, “The blood of all the sixteen-year-old girls in the first grade are here. That’s all there is, but I won’t be joining you both in anything that’s happening next.”

He smiled slightly at me, indicating that his task was completed.

He left the bathroom and closed the door on the way out.

Cheng Fengfeng placed the hand wearing the jade bracelet eagerly into the blood and allowed it to be thoroughly soaked in the blood.

I stood against the wall and waited patiently for a miracle to happen.

The blood in the sink slowly decreased, and it seemed to be absorbed by the jade bracelet.

“The jade bracelet has become loose; it has become loose,” Cheng Fengfeng exclaimed in surprise.

I secretly breathed a sigh of relief. It seems that the solution given by Liu Ruoyi is useful, since the jade bracelet will swell and become bigger after absorbing enough blood. Cheng Fengfeng would be able to take off the jade bracelet this way. We would need to find a way to dispose of the jade bracelet later so tat no one would suffer from this in the future.

I discussed with Cheng Fengfeng how to dispose of the jade bracelet, but she said, “Why dispose of it? It’ll be fine if I don’t wear it, right?”

“Don’t be stupid. This thing is evil, and you can’t keep it.”

“Don’t make a fuss. What can it do to me if I don’t wear it?”

I could not communicate with her, usually.

I still remembered that a dark shadow fell asleep next to Cheng Fengfeng one night. It was obviously the ghost suppressed in the jade bracelet. The ghost must have absorbed her blood, which was why it could reveal itself.

Although I had not seen the ghost’s real body, could the resentment of a ghost who committed suicide be small? My hair started to stand on its ends when I thought of the female ghost who severely hurt Teacher Four-eyes.

“No. It would be best if you disposed of the jade bracelet. If anything, I’ll show it to Uncle Shang.”

Cheng Fengfeng glared at me and couldn’t help but say, “What Uncle Shang? Isn’t he just a big liar? He scammed so much money from my family with the memorial service he did three years ago. I haven’t settled this issue with him yet, and you want to give him my jade bracelet that’s worth tens of thousands of yuan. I would rather sell it than to give it to him.”

I didn’t expect Cheng Fengfeng to be someone to hold grudges. Shang Yi actually deceived some money from their family in the first place, but I knew best whether he was capable in his work.

However… Shang Yi’s performance was relatively poor in Xu Zixi’s case. If Ming Si did not show up in time, I would have been dead by then.

It couldn’t be that Shang Yi is a liar?

Not really!

He could communicate between yin and yang. He also matched Ming Si and me for necrogamy, so he should have some skills no matter how.

My brain was a little confused.

“The master surnamed Shang you mentioned is a quack. You spend less time with him in the future, or he would teach you something bad instead,” Cheng Fengfeng puffed her cheeks and growled.

Although Shang Yi and my aunty had not made any decent progress, there was no doubt that Shang Yi saved my life.

If I hadn’t made a yin relationship with Ming Si, I would have died a long time ago.

I was secretly upset when I heard Cheng Fengfeng ranting about Shang Yi, and I couldn’t help refuting, “What do you know about him? He’s not a quack. I admit he’s greedy for money, but he is not a liar.”

“Don’t stick up for him. I think he’s not as effective as you. Look at the trick you told me. The jade bracelet is slowly becoming looser. It’s amazing.”

I wanted to say something harsh, but I didn’t bother about it after she complimented me.

The blood in the sink was almost absorbed entirely by the jade bracelet.

Jade itself was used to ward off evil, but it could evolve into something so evil when it was contaminated by the blood of someone who was wronged. It was terrifying to just think about it.

I probably won’t ever want to touch anything related to jade for the rest of my life.

The jade bracelet had become much bigger after all the blood in the sink was absorbed entirely by the jade bracelet. I urged Cheng Fengfeng to take off the jade bracelet quickly.

She took a deep breath and pressed the jade bracelet on her wrist, but the jade bracelet was still a little bit small. She tried until her wrist was red, but she still could not remove the jade bracelet.

Could it be that the amount of blood was not enough?
