Hiding in an inconspicuous corner, An Ge’er kept an eye on the two. They were both radiating so brilliantly, looking like the ideal couple. She then looked at herself, clad in a baseball cap, jeans, checkered blouse, canvas shoes, and hiding in a corner to peep at them… She was like a clown: lowly and ridiculous!

An Ge’er’s eyes turned red.

She had loved Brother Qin Mo for more than ten years… It was bad enough that An Ruxue had to snatch her things away from her, but she even stole Brother Qin Mo away from her… No, how can that happen?!

Seeing that they had entered the hotel, An Ge’er quickly seized the opportunity to follow them.

No matter what, she must not let them check into a hotel room!

“Hold on, please show your VIP card.” The waiter stopped her.

An Ge’er was stunned. She watched on as they walked further and further away. Quick-witted, she pointed to a woman inside and said, “My mom just went in. We’re together.”

Eventually, she made it in with much effort. An Ge’er hurriedly chased after them and happened to see both of them entering the elevator, which eventually stopped on the 13th floor.

With no other choice and unable to wait for the elevator to come back down, An Ge’er immediately went to take the stairs. Fortunately, she had trained in mixed martial arts, so her physical strength was not too bad. Climbing to the thirteenth floor, nonetheless, had her drenched in sweat. Without even taking a break, she started searching for them.

The corners of her eyes were getting moist. An Ge’er wanted to scold herself for being so corny, but she could not control herself as her eyes gradually turned red.

In actuality, her liking Brother Qin Mo was not a one-sided love. When they were young, before Qin Mo went to a military academy, he had entrusted someone to pass her a letter. She had kept that letter to this day.

She could not forget how much motivation and hope that letter had given her when she was neglected by her family and when she was framed by An Ruxue time and again.

In the letter, he said that he would not be a prince charming; instead, he would be a knight. Why? Because the prince could have more than one woman, but the knight would always only have the princess, and no one else, in his eyes.

She was his princess, and he would only be her knight. He said that one day, he would don his armor and step on his rainbow-colored horse to come and marry her. He would conquer the world for her, and make her the supreme queen.

An Ge’er pursed her lips tightly as her eyes welled up with tears.

Did he forget all of that?

She clearly remembered every word in the letter, but what about the reality now?

The result was reality giving a painful burning slap.

She decided to find Qin Mo. She had to pay him back with a slap for trampling on her feelings!

The entire thirteenth floor was occupied with private VIP rooms. As she went around in circles, she completely lost track of where she was.

When she saw a waiter coming towards her, she quickly went up to him and tricked him into telling her what she wanted to know. She claimed that she had lost her way and forgotten her room number, but she remembered seeing a woman who looked very much like a superstar. The waiter immediately pointed her in a certain direction.

Once she reached the pointed location, two private rooms that were about the same distance away faced her. An Ge’er hesitated.

Coincidentally, there was a small opening in the first private room. Through that gap, An Ge’er peered in. Although it was slightly dim inside, she still spotted a tall figure standing with his back facing her with a single glance.

An Ge’er’s eyes were instantaneously drawn to this figure. When he began to take off his coat, she gritted her teeth, clenched her fists, and rushed in!

She abruptly tugged on his arm, and without saying anything, she gave him a slap!

“Slap!”

The strike bore her hatred and despair towards his betrayal. An Ge’er had used every last ounce of her strength.

A small figure abruptly barging in, followed by a crisp slap, immediately made the already strange solemn atmosphere in the private room reach its maximum intensity.

“Qin, Qin—”

As An Ge’er opened her mouth, she raised her hand to unleash another slap, but when she got a good look at the other party… Oh, Lord!

Instantly, sharp intakes of breaths resounded all around her.

When An Ge’er got a good look at the man’s face, which had been deflected to the side, she froze.

She seemed to have, probably, vaguely, hit the wrong… person…
