An Ge’er turned around to look at him.

The man in front of her was tall and strapping. His intricately perfect face was solemn and grave. Fury bubbled in between his brows, and his black, almond-shaped eyes stared at her without blinking—as oppressive as a dark abyss.

Yet, there were also too many complicated emotions hidden within.

An Ge’er’s heart suddenly dropped. She wasn’t stupid. Even if he was her little uncle, warning her in such a severe tone, it didn’t feel like a family elder at all…

It was more like a strong possession toward her…

It was like a man toward a woman…

An Ge’er’s heart suddenly became confused and jumbled. She couldn’t help but recall how she was forcefully kissed by him against the wall over a month ago.

Her breath was caught in her throat. No, nope. He was her little uncle. She didn’t have much impression of him for over the past ten years; thus, he would also not remember her. That must be an accident.

She must have overthought.

“I understand, Little Uncle.” An Ge’er was coerced by his gaze to say something along that line. Anyway, she didn’t live together with him, so she had absolute freedom. As long as she was discreet enough, how would he know about her private matters?

Bo Yan only released her hand after he heard her confirmation. He recovered his calm tone of voice that still had a strong deterrence. “This would be the best. Otherwise, men who get close to you will be seeking their deaths!”

An Ge’er’s face paled again. Wasn’t Brother Qin Mo working for his Media Corporation?

“Bang.” She slammed the door and got into her bed straight away. She then vented her anger at the pillows.

“Bad Bo Yan, smelly Bo Yan. What a nonsensical Little Uncle. Scram to the side!!” After An Ge’er finished venting, she rushed to her window with messy hair. As expected, both Little Uncle and Brother Qin Mo had left.

Tranquility and peace reigned over the night.

An Ge’er had an urge to go crazy in her heart when she recalled her little uncle’s almost jealous-like demeanor.

No. Why would she think that Little Uncle was jealous!?

An Ge’er buried her head under her pillow and felt that she must be out of her mind. He was her Little Uncle! What kind of nonsense was she thinking about!

In the car, cigarette smoke floated in the air. Bo Yan’s eyes were half-closed, a cigarette sticking in between his long and slender, fair fingers.

There wasn’t any extra emotion in his cool and distant gaze.

“Qin Mo, you like An Ge’er. Am I right?”

His gaze fixed straight ahead, he opened his mouth and asked without any emotion.

“An Ge’er?” Qin Mo was a little taken aback. However, the next moment, a gentle smile appeared on his handsome face. His gaze looked like he was reminiscing. “She’s smart and perfect, and I always knew about that. It’s difficult for me not to fall for her.”

Bo Yan’s eyes narrowed. The interior of the car was plunged into silence.

After a while, Qin Mo got a cigarette from him and lit it up. “Bo Yan, what do you mean by this? Are you afraid that I will bully your little niece?”

Bo Yan remained silent, and the surrounding ambiance became a little stagnated.

Qin Mo continued, “Rest assured. I know what to do. I will not hold her up now.”

He always had his own considerations. He could see that An Ge’er liked him. However, he didn’t make his feelings known to her for such a long time, because she was preparing for the university entrance exams. As a child from the family of a high-ranking military officer, she had quite a heavy burden on her shoulders.

Therefore, he wanted to wait until everything was accomplished before he confessed.

And now, in his mind, Bo Yan was merely worried that he would hold up his little niece.

Bo Yan took several puffs of his cigarette. The hazy smoke made his entire person look even more elusive, as if he was a fallen elf who was exceptionally enchanting.

“You have to leave her.”

He suddenly made that statement with a quiet and calm tone of voice.

Qin Mo’s fingers suddenly stiffened, and a gleam of shock flashed through his eyes. He didn’t expect Bo Yan would say that at all.

“What do you mean, Bo Yan?”
