She really couldn’t believe that such an outstanding man was her little uncle. Why had she never heard her family mention that the Chief Executive of SUM Corporation was her little uncle?!

Moreover, he was still so young, aloof, and attractive

SUM Corporation?

Even An Ge’er was shocked to hear this name. In fact, her grandfather had never liked his family members to dabble in business. Hence, even though he knew that Bo Yan was doing business, he seldom talked about his actual situation.

Furthermore, he was always aboard, and even though he came back occasionally, she would be in school and couldn’t meet him. But, she had never thought that her Little Uncle would be connected to this SUM multinational corporation.

Almost everybody knew SUM Corporation, whose businesses involved finance, real estate, entertainment, movie investments, television series filming, release of music records, artists management agencies, and development of games. Its commercial influence was intricately linked and enjoyed a high status internationally.

And, he actually founded such a large multinational corporation alone?

An Ge’er was awed in her heart. What kind of figure was he actually…

However, when she recalled what he had done to her that day… An Ge’er’s eyes narrowed, and she calmed down. This wasn’t the first time she was shocked by him.

Bo Yan gave a perfunctory response to An Ruxue. When Old Master An asked if he was leaving, he suddenly glanced at An Ge’er and said in a faint tone, “I’m not leaving for the moment.”

“Oh, yes, Sister, I remember there’s a pot of soup in the kitchen. Little Uncle is almost done with his meal. Since you are closer, go and bring it out,” An Ruxue said as she looked at her, who was eating her meal with her head lowered.

There was this type of person that simply wouldn’t let you off even if you tried to lie low.

An Ge’er definitely couldn’t say no for now.

As for that pot of hot soup, she was only thinking about how to carry it from the kitchen to the dining table without any hiccups.

She found two wet dishcloths in the kitchen to pad under the two sides of the bowl and carried it carefully.

She was holding the steaming hot and heavy porcelain ware with caution. As An Ge’er was about to turn around a corner, a foot suddenly stuck out…

Unpredictably.

“Ah–!”

An Ruxue saw her figure—that was about to be scalded—fall down. Her mouth had a cold quick smirk that instantly disappeared.

A pot of hot soup flew across, and An Ge’er fell forward uncontrollably.

Just when An Ge’er thought she couldn’t escape, she felt a black shadow flashing across her eyes.

Someone grabbed hold of her body out of the blue.

“Are you okay? Are you hurt?”

An Ge’er opened her eyes and saw Little Uncle holding onto her with one hand. And then she gazed at the hot soup and broken shards on the floor. Although she had always been a calm person, her face couldn’t help but turn pale.

If he was a bit late, not only the face but also her entire body wouldn’t have an unharmed area left.

“Thank you. Thank you, Little Uncle.” An Ge’er stood straight up in a jiffy.

“Ridiculous! Why are you so careless, An Ge’er? It’s fortunate that your uncle wasn’t harmed, or else, be prepared for my punishment!”

“That’s enough! Be quiet!”

The Old Master had blown his top, at last, glaring at the old lady. Then, he jumped to his feet and walked to An Ge’er. His face was full of worry. “Quick, let Grandpa see if you are hurt. You must be so scared!”

An Ge’er pulled back her hands and wouldn’t let him see. She forced herself to smile. “I’m okay, Grandpa. My clothes are dirty; let me go and change.”

She rushed off after saying that. However, An Ge’er stopped in her tracks when she saw An Ruxue’s gaze as she looked over. A gleam of coldness flashed through her eyes.
