Rare techniques? Little White Flower clearly saw the covers of the books. One of them was “Domineering CEO’s Lover,” the other was “All the Boys Love Me”. Were they really rare techniques? Little White Flower shook its head. A saying rose in its head about misleading the young and it felt sad for Jun Lansheng.

“I didn’t realize that Zhong Wanying liked Ye Yunji.” Gu Fenghua tilted her head sideways and tutted.

“Then again, there’s nothing strange about it. I remember hearing my family elders talking about him after I came home. Ye Yunji is a rising star in Xinghua. Even the principal said he was a rare prodigy. Also, he is genuinely good-looking. Never mind. I won’t fight with him over the title of most gorgeous man on earth,” said Jun Lansheng before he sighed and waved his hand magnanimously.

Luo Enen wanted to roll her eyes again. It was a real test of her temperament to keep such a shameless friend around.

“Never mind. Enough about him. Let’s have lunch and take a nap.” Gu Fenghua shrugged.

“Uh huh. Let’s go. Hottie, you are the best. Can you buy me a couple of chicken drumsticks?” said Luo Enen ingratiatingly to Jun Lansheng.

“Sure.” Jun Lansheng loved hearing what Luo Enen had just called him.

Luo Enen proceeded to turn and said to Gu Fenghua, “You are also the best. Can you get me two chicken drumsticks too?”

Jun Lansheng went speechless as he looked at Luo Enen powerlessly in silence. It was a real test of his temperament, keeping a shameless glutton as a friend.

Gu Fenghua did not attend martial arts classes in the afternoon as usual. Instead, she went to the library for a look.

Celestial Academy’s library consisted of seven floors. All students had free access to the first and second levels, but from the third floor onwards, only students with a certain level of cultivation could use them. Other than ability, students required permission from the school, and those floors could only be accessed with a token.

If anyone realized that Gu Fenghua managed to access the first five floors, their mouths would open so wide that they would get dislocated.

Gu Fenghua, Luo Enen, and Jun Lansheng saw Ye Yunji waiting for them at the entrance in the evening.

Ye Yunji was dressed in an exquisite white outfit and his dark hair was loosely held behind him with a well-made white hairpin while a cold aura radiated from him. Even though everyone could not resist looking at him, no one dared to speak to him.

Ye Yunji walked over to meet them the moment he caught sight of them.

“Fenghua, let’s go. I prepared a horse carriage.” Luo Enen and Jun Lansheng found Ye Yunji’s enthusiasm inexplicable.

Gu Fenghua and Luo Enen shared a horse carriage while Ye Yunji and Jun Lansheng used another.

On their way there, Luo Enen finally could not resist asking Gu Fenghua, “Why is Ye Yunji buying you dinner? What happened?”

Jun Lansheng asked Ye Yunji the same question quizzically in the other horse carriage.

“Huh? Is Fenghua your savior?” asked Jun Lansheng with his eyes wide open.

“Uh huh.” Ye Yunji nodded.

“You have to repay her properly then. I don’t think two meals is enough,” muttered Jun Lansheng as he touched his chubby chin. He suddenly caught on. “Did you give her those flower pigs?”

Ye Yunji nodded gently once more.

“That’s more like it.” Jun Lansheng nodded satisfactorily.

Ye Yunji went speechless. Should he be happy that his life had suddenly elevated from being worth 15 flower pigs to two meals at Ambrosia?

The moment they arrived at Ambrosia, Gu Fenghua got off and encountered Ma Hongfei.

The moment Ma Hongfei saw Gu Fenghua, his eyes glinted, and he wanted to run over. After he made a scene at home, his grandfather finally agreed to speak to the emperor to request for Gu Fenghua’s hand in marriage, but nothing had come of it yet. He was surprised to bump into her today.

“Fenghua, …” Ma Hongfei ran over, but Luo Enen raised her sword to press it against his chest before he reached Gu Fenghua and shoved him back hard. Fortunately, her sword was sheathed. Otherwise, it was bound to pierce right through his heart at the speed he was running.

Ma Hongfei’s eyes almost turned white from the push. He brushed the sword aside and said angrily to Luo Enen, “Who are you? How dare you stop me from talking to Fenghua?”

“I am her minion!’ said Luo Enen candidly. “I am here to keep people like you with evil intentions away.”

Ma Hongfei was caught by surprise. He had never heard anyone claiming to be a lackey so bluntly. Just as Ma Hongfei was about to scold her, he suddenly heard someone talking.

“Ma Hongfei?” A bright voice suddenly echoed in Ma Hongfei’s ear. Ma Hongfei turned to see Ye Yunji and was so petrified that he almost stumbled and fell altogether.

I-it was Ye Yunji!

Ma Hongfei might only feel slightly challenged by the eldest prince and was not entirely afraid of him, but his legs trembled at the sight of Ye Yunji.

Ye Yunji was not of royal blood, but he was decreed prince by the ex-emperor. Despite his young age, he was deemed the eldest prince’s senior. Even the emperor treated him with respect.

He had unusually high status and was a true genius, so it was no exaggeration to say that he was the future of Xinghua.

He was unafraid of these things. Instead, he was more afraid of Ye Yunji himself. Most people only thought Ye Yunji was lofty and did not care about politics. In reality…

Ye Yunji’s eyes were icy cold as he looked at Ma Hongfei. Ma Hongfei’s heart palpitated and did not dare to go on thinking about him.

“From now on, if I see you coming close to Fenghua, I won’t play nice.” Despite Ye Yunji’s soft voice, Ma Hongfei felt as though he was standing in the Arctic and felt breathless from the cold. He certainly did not want to wait to find out what Ye Yunji meant by not playing nice. He could not afford to provoke Ye Yunji.

Ma Hongfei hastily nodded before he turned to scuttle off like a ferocious beast was running behind him.

“Why is he so afraid of you?” asked Luo Enen as she watched Ma Hongfei run into the distance.

“Because he is better looking than Ma Hongfei,” replied Jun Lansheng begrudgingly.

Luo Enen’s lips twitched. She did not feel like talking. How jealous was Jun Lansheng about Ye Yunji’s good looks?

“Who was that? How dare he lust for Gu Fenghua with looks like his?” said Luo Enen furiously.

“That was Ma Hongfei, the royal tutor’s grandson. He’s a privileged brat. My grandfather said that the royal tutor approached His Majesty to ask for Fenghua’s hand in marriage,” said Jun Lansheng nonchalantly.

“What?!” Luo Enen raised her volume before she asked anxiously, “Did His Majesty agree?”

“How could he?” scoffed Jun Lansheng. “The eldest prince did the same thing, but His Majesty did not approve. How could he allow someone like Ma Hongfei to marry Fenghua?”

“Good. That’s good.” Luo Enen patted her chest in relief as she spoke. She said happily, “Fenghua, you sure are popular.”

“They probably won’t like me once they see my true colors,” said Gu Fenghua coolly.

Jun Lansheng and Luo Enen pondered carefully. They had to admit that Gu Fenghua was right. Gu Fenghua was absolutely right…
