Jun Lansheng also managed to buy a rare ingredient. He bought a few flower pigs while they were out shopping. These pigs were bred on flowers. They came in small sizes, so even a fully grown flower pig was no bigger than an adult dog. Flower pigs were agile, cautious in nature, and could climb trees, so they were very hard to catch.

The pig had particularly succulent meat and worked well with any kind of cooking. The moment Jun Lansheng saw the flower pigs, he happily spent a bomb to buy them.

Luo Enen felt upset and used her fingers to calculate how many regular roast suckling pigs they could buy with the money. However, Gu Fenghua happily paid for the pigs since she was always generous when it came to food.

The only thing Gu Fenghua was good at making was roast meat, so she saved some condiments in her interspatial bracelet along with the flower pig and planned on cooking it when she felt like it.

The freshmen exercise came to a dramatic end before classes went back to normal.

On the first day of school, Gu Fenghua attended theory classes in the morning. She did not feel like attending martial arts classes in the afternoon and kept thinking about the flower pig inside her bracelet.

“I’m roasting pig this afternoon. Do you want to join me? The only thing I am able to cook well is roast meat. Why don’t you swing by and try my cooking?” Gu Fenghua asked Luo Enen and Jun Lansheng over lunch.

“Okay. Of course, I’ll go.” Luo Enen’s eyes sparkled as she hurriedly agreed before she added. “I have to attend class and see if the teacher’s pointers will help me improve.”

“I will come by a little later as well.” Jun Lansheng was eating lunch from the cafeteria and looked picky as he muttered, “This dish is such a waste of ingredients. It was overcooked.”

“In that case, I will take a nap before seeing you in the forest behind the campus since it is cooler there.” Gu Fenghua finished the rest of her lunch and gracefully wiped her mouth before she went back to the hostel for a nap.

Luo Enen followed behind Gu Fenghua. She wanted to take a nap before classes as well. Jun Lansheng waved goodbye to them and continued eating lunch.

They bumped into Zhong Wanying at the cafeteria entrance with a few girls behind her. Although everyone was dressed in the same uniform, they could use any accessories they liked. Judging from the accessories, it was easy to determine a student’s status.

Zhong Wanying’s hair accessories, earrings, and bracelets were exquisitely made. Even though the accessories belonging to the girls around her could not compare, they were equally expensive.

“Hi, Fenghua,” greeted Zhong Wanying gently as she smiled and walked over.

“Hey,” replied Gu Fenghua calmly with a single word.

“Have you just had lunch? How are you acclimating to the food? After all, you are used to eating delicacies back home. If you can’t get used to the food in the cafeteria, you can tell your grandfather about it and have him send your favorites,” said Zhong Wanying with a look of concern on her face.

Oh god! What was she trying to say? Even the typically less serious Luo Enen could detect something wrong with what Zhong Wanying said. Some students from common families were looking over at Gu Fenghua with a hint of resentment in their eyes.

“Are you talking about yourself?” retaliated Luo Enen bluntly. “We are all done with lunch and heading back to the hostel. Since you came by so late, you must hate the cafeteria food, right? If you don’t like it, you can always go out for lunch. Why drag Fenghua into this?” The students around them veered their eyes and stopped looking when they realized Gu Fenghua did not look down on the cafeteria food.

“And you are?” Zhong Wanying felt annoyed that Luo Enen retaliated. However, she kept up a warm smile as she spoke.

“You’re asking the obvious,” scoffed Luo Enen before she ridiculed. “We came in first for the freshmen exercise. Didn’t you see us accepting our prize on stage?”

A hint of anger swept across Zhong Wanying’s eyes briefly. She naturally knew who Luo Enen was. She was Gu Fenghua’s new powerful friend.

Zhong Wanying felt jealous and angry that Gu Fenghua teamed up with two new formidable friends to come in first for the freshmen exercise. She secretly hated Gu Fenghua for having the good fortune of coming in champion. Fortunately, she shockingly received a footbath as a prize. It certainly made Zhong Wanying feel a lot less resentful.

“Luo Enen, how can you be so rude?” said one of the girls standing behind Zhong Wanying angrily.

“It was the truth,” sneered Luo Enen before she pulled Gu Fenghua through the crowd and left.

Gu Fenghua felt impressed by how much damage Luo Enen caused.

After walking some distance, Luo Enen asked Gu Fenghua, “Who is that girl? Why does she sound like she is out to get you?”

“Zhong Wanying, my so-called only best friend.” Gu Fenghua touched Luo Enen’s head.

“Your only best friend? Why does she sound like she’s trying to get you in trouble? I really wanted to give her a punch,” said Luo Enen as she gnashed her teeth. “Don’t be stupid. She definitely doesn’t treat you as a true friend.”

“Calm down. Let’s come out with a killing move and finish her with one strike.” Gu Fenghua smiled. “She has been acting for so long that I’m starting to get sick of her.”

“Did you keep her around for entertainment?” Luo Enen was stunned.

“Of course. Why else would I let her hang around? It’s not like I’m dumb, right?” Gu Fenghua saw how indignant Luo Enen appeared before she went into a daze. She felt that Luo Enen was simply adorable and very authentic.

“Let’s thrash her!” Luo Enen gritted her teeth.

“She is a scheming woman, so we can’t attack her directly. It will just make us look unreasonable. Instead, we have to find some other opportunity to openly attack her.” Gu Fenghua looked solemn. “Enen, remember this. In the face of true power, simple ploys are useless and everyone else just has to bow. Since we aren’t strong enough yet, this is the only way we can handle her.”

Luo Enen went into a daze and frowned as she pondered on Gu Fenghua’s words.

“Then let’s become strong. Let’s become so strong that no one is able to plot against us.” Although Gu Fenghua spoke gently, her words felt like a huge boulder crashing down onto Luo Enen’s heart.

Luo Enen looked into Gu Fenghua’s eyes and a smile emerged on Gu Fenghua’s face. Luo Enen gradually smiled as well. They nodded firmly to each other before they headed back to the hostel for an afternoon nap.

After Gu Fenghua woke up, she realized Luo Enen had gone to class. Gu Fenghua yawned. She washed her face to freshen herself up before she slowly headed to the forest behind the campus. The flower pig needed some time to prepare, so if she started grilling now it would be ready by dinner time.
