The next day morning, Li Tian followed Lin Yi to work.
Whilst they were on their way to the office, Li Tian said, “Honey, I need to leave later at around 10 a.m. to go see my friend. Please don’t record my absence.”
Every month at the office, they gave out bonuses for 600 employees with full attendance. Those who were late or took leaves during working hours were not entitled to the bonus.
Lin Yi was amused when she heard Li Tian say this. Am I not the person who pays you your salary?
The company isn’t a publicly listed one yet, your money is my money, too.
“Okay, are you coming back at night?”
Lin Yi agreed to his favour.
“Of course I’m coming home. I have to move into your room tonight, remember? I won’t have much to talk about with a guy anyways. I just have to ask him something and I’ll come back.”
When she heard Li Tian talking about moving into her room, Lin Yi instinctively lowered her head once again.
Lin Yi had always thought that she was a strong independent woman. Every time she had business discussions, she would never hesitate to negotiate with groups of men. However, Lin Yi couldn’t help but feel embarrassed in front of Li Tian.
At around 8 a.m., Li Tian and Lin Yi arrived at the office.
However, Li Tian suddenly had a weird feeling.
“Gosh, I forgot to buy breakfast. Honey, lend me your car for a while, if not, everyone from the PR department will kill me.”
As they came to work together, Li Tian had completely forgotten about his duty of getting breakfast for his colleagues.
Thus, he had to leave again as soon as he arrived at the office.
“It’s time to collect funds for breakfast again. We spent all the money collected from the last time.”
Li Tian said, whilst driving to get breakfast.
“It’ll be the holidays the day after tomorrow. Great. I’ll tag along with He Shang to Shaolin.”

Li Tian came to the office with everyone’s breakfast and asked to collect the breakfast funds again. This time, everyone had to pay $500 so that the money wouldn’t be used up so quickly.
As he collected money from his colleagues one by one, Li Tian felt as though he was collecting money from his debtors.
“Here’s an extra $100, remember to treat me better in the future.”
Yu from the PR department said as she put the money straight into Li Tian’s pocket.
“Of course, I’ll make sure of it.”

At around 10 a.m., Li Tian got ready to leave the office. Shu Qing Qing asked him why he was going out, but Li Tian simply replied that he had already asked permission from the CEO.
When she heard that the CEO personally granted Li Tian the leave, Shu Qing Qing began to look at Li Tian in a different light.
The CEO must’ve noticed Tian’s excellence, otherwise, she wouldn’t have personally approved his leave.
When Li Tian reached the motel that He Shang was staying at, he immediately saw He Shang lying on the bed, on his phone.
“Gosh, since when did you become so shallow? Let me see what you’re playing.”
Li Tian snatched the phone to have a look.
Then…
“Oh… iku… yamete…”
Li Tian was shocked at the sight of He Shang watching some R-rated videos on his phone. He even downloaded it onto his phone!
“He Shang, you’re going against Buddhist precepts!”
Li Tian exclaimed, whilst feigning disappointment. He even let out a sigh, as though He Shang had done something terrible.
“Buddha said: If I don’t go to hell, who will? Although I know that this is already hell, a monk such as me would never hesitate to stay here. Come here, I’ll show you a girl. She’s a new actress from Taiwan who just made her debut. I’m thinking of asking her out on a date when I’m free.”
“Come on, don’t talk to me about this. Remember when you went to Taiwan with San Yan and the others? You guys almost caused big trouble. Luckily you were stopped, otherwise, Qin Yu Han wouldn’t let you live.”
He Shang became solemn when Qin Yu Han was mentioned.
“Hey, this poor monk didn’t mean it that way. I was just purely admiring her, you misunderstood me.”
Watching He Shang abruptly turn all serious was quite an amusing scene to Li Tian.
In their team, everyone was afraid of Qin Yu Han. Why? Because no one could defeat her. Li Tian was also very skillful, but nobody could compare to Qin Yu Han.
Simply said, Qin Yu Han could defeat Li Tian with one hand, and He Shang with one finger.
It didn’t mean that her techniques were much better, but it was because no one dared to pick a fight with her.
Everyone would avoid her.

“Yeah yeah, I misunderstood you. Since you’re here in Jiangdu, I’ll treat you to lunch today and show you around the city.”
This was why Li Tian wanted to take some time off work to properly welcome his friend to Jiangdu.

He Shang said and proceeded to open a messaging application on his phone. His chat history displayed a message that said something about having lunch.
Li Tian was surprised upon seeing this because the person that He Shang was chatting with was a girl.
“Who’s this? Your sister?”
“Yeah, she just became my ‘godsister’.”
“What the heck!? You beast! You… Tell me, is she pretty?”
Li Tian suddenly became curious.
“Not bad. She’s about an 8/10.” He Shang said, slightly showing off.
This is impossible. This guy has only been in Jiangdu for less than a day! I’ve been here for how long? I haven’t even gone on a date with anyone!
Darn it. This brat.
Li Tian felt slightly upset.
“I was planning to take you to the massage parlour tonight. I guess the plan’s off.”
“No, no. Did you forget what I just said? If I don’t go to hell, who will? Of course I’ll go with you tonight. I’ll only need the afternoon with my ‘godsister’ anyways.”

Li Tian looked at He Shang with scorn.
I’ve just wasted my leave. He Shang must’ve had more things planned for these few days.
Li Tian didn’t think that there was anything wrong with these kinds of ‘dates’. He knew that He Shang and the rest of the team, including himself, weren’t exactly upright people. This was also why he never claimed to be a good person in the first place.
Li Tian led quite a simple life. He did everything as he liked as long as he didn’t do any evil.
“I have a few days off starting the day after tomorrow. Why don’t we go to the Shaolin temple together?”
Li Tian remembered about the temple.
“I’m afraid I can’t go there in the next few days. I still have things to settle before going there. I need another ten more days.”
“Dude, why did you come back so early?”
“Didn’t I tell you that I wanted to see for myself how beautiful the girls in Jiangdu were? Indeed, San Yan didn’t lie to me at all. But I’ve only realised now that I’m back that local girls can be a little too forward. Or am I just too irresistible?”

For the first time, Li Tian felt that he had lost to He Shang in the battle of who was the most shameless.
