Li Tian felt relieved upon hearing Lin Yi’s question.

Lin Yi glanced at Tang Wan, then answered Li Tian.
Lin Yi thought that there was no need to rush to reject Tang Wan’s offer, as Li Tian was still handling the situation calmly.

“Pretty girl, is this bracelet that important to you? If it isn’t, then I would advise you not to buy it. Did you say that you were looking for a gift for an elderly relative? I’ll help you look for something else, how about that?”

Li Tian didn’t want to reject a sick old man, so he decided to accept Tang Wan’s offer.
It wasn’t that big of a deal to get Lin Yi another present.
Tang Wan felt elated as she heard Li Tian say that. “Thank you so much, Mr. Li. Thank you as well, President Lin. I’ll send you the money immediately. Do you want me to send it through the company’s account, or your personal account?”
“Our personal account is fine.”
Lin Yi watched as Li Tian agreed to sell the bracelet. Of course, she didn’t say anything else about it. That bracelet was given to her by Li Tian, so it was up to him to make the decision.
Lin Yi told Tang Wan that she would pass Tang Wan the bracelet after finishing work. Although Tang Wan was feeling quite rushed, a few hours of waiting was still okay, so she quickly agreed to it. After all, Lin Yi knew where Tang Wan lived.

“Yeah, but I didn’t ask you to agree to sell the bracelet. I just didn’t know how to reject her.”
Lin Yi gave herself an excuse.

“Why? Is there anything else?”
Lin Yi asked, after noticing that Li Tian was still standing there.
“Um… Honey, what about the money from selling the bracelet? Look at your poor husband. How do you feel about splitting the money so that I can get a car for myself?”
No wonder Li Tian hadn’t left yet. He was trying to get some money from Lin Yi.
Lin Yi rubbed her temples as though she had a headache.

“Not a chance. That bracelet was your gift to me, so I should take the profits from selling it.”
