The moment Fox hid in the depression, Luo Su swiftly hid behind a large rock. Fox was running out of ammo, but he wasn’t facing the same problem. He had a phobia about insufficient firepower, so he had three extra magazines with him.
Smith’s Character Card was incredible, particularly its ability to self-adjust during battle. In that dangerous exchange of fire, Luo Su’s heartbeat had remained steady.
His heartbeat was steady, his breathing was normal, and his mind was clear. Luo Su wasn’t worried that Fox would be able to sense his location while in Bullet Time. Taking his last grenade from his belt, he pulled the safety trigger and tossed it over the rock.
Fox was crouched in the depression, hyper-vigilant of her surroundings. Upon hearing a soft gust of wind, she looked up and saw a grenade coming toward her.
While mentally cursing Luo Su’s relatives, Fox raised her gun and entered Bullet Time. The grenade immediately slowed down, and then a bullet pierced through its core, causing it to explode in the air. The fiery explosion stirred up a great cloud of dust.
Luo Su reloaded his gun, walked out from the rock, and fired multiple times at the depression in which Fox was hiding. Such was the freedom given to those with sufficient ammo.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Fox was under so much suppressing fire that she couldn’t raise her head. She swung out her arm, firing a curved bullet. Alas, the explosion had left her a little dizzy, making her unable to determine Luo Su’s position, so her shot missed.
“Shit!”
Fox cursed as she fired two more curved bullets. When she heard Luo Su drop to the ground to dodge, she immediately charged out of the depression, which had been on the verge of becoming her grave.
Luo Su lay prone on the ground. Those two bullets had almost hit him, but fortunately, the power of Smith’s Character Card and the forewarning from his sixth sense allowed him to dodge.
Seeing Fox charge out, he immediately pulled the trigger, every one of his shots seeking to make a fatal wound.
The moment Fox charged out of the depression, her heart began to beat at more than 400 beats per minute, and she intercepted all of Luo Su’s bullets with her own. Her M1911 rapidly fired off its bullets, and finally, when she was just one step from Luo Su, her gun ran out of ammo. She realized that she could dodge the next bullet, so she threw her beloved gun over.
Ding!
The M1911 was knocked flying and the bullet that should have pierced her heart instead brushed across her arm. Enduring the pain, Fox entered Bullet Time, rushed up to Luo Su, and kicked his hand.
The M9 flew out of Luo Su’s hand. Fox and Luo Su stared at each other, murderous light gleaming both pairs of eyes.
Luo Su was in excellent physical condition, and the Character Card had boosted his reaction time to incredible levels. His left arm seized Fox’s leg before she could draw it back while his right fist clenched and hammered into Fox’s heart.
Fox crossed her arms to block and was forced to lean back from the blow. Seeing that the M9 was about to fall back into Luo Su’s hand, she completely bent backward, raising up her other leg and kicking the M9 away.
The M9 spun through the air and landed right in the middle of the train tracks!
Luo Su’s eyes flashed as they locked onto the area between those two legs. Without a second thought, he threw in his elbow.
Fox immediately groaned in pain, proving that whether man or woman, anyone elbowed there would feel pain worse than death.
Luo Su grimly held onto Fox’s leg. Upon sensing that her muscles were going slack from the pain, he twisted her leg and brought her to the ground. He placed both hands on her lower leg, using his grappling skills to try and lock her down.
Fox sensed what Luo Su was doing. Pushing past the pain, she kicked out with her free left leg. The high hee slashed across the back of Luo Su’s hand, causing him to loosen his grip and allowing Fox to break free.
Once she was free, Fox first glanced at the M9 on the train tracks, and then she took up a boxing posture, her fists clenching as she glared at Luo Su.
Luo Su coldly chuckled as he rubbed his neck. Seeing how Fox was constantly crossing her legs and shifting positions, he jeered, “Beautiful miss, if it hurts, just say it. I can give you a massage.”
Fox spat on the ground and disdainfully said, “You can try, but before that, I’ll make sure to break your jewels!”
“Why don’t you try!”
Luo Su suddenly lunged forward two steps, and his left hand clenched into a fist and flew at Fox’s face.
This was a feint to draw Fox’s attention, and he quickly drew it back. His real attack was from his right fist, which mercilessly slammed toward Fox’s temple.
Fox’s heart madly thumped, and as she entered Bullet Time, Luo Su’s fist slowed down. Instead of choosing to block, she lunged at Luo Su’s chest, bringing up her knee to strike between Luo Su’s legs.
For a brief second, Fox could see the panic in Luo Su’s eyes, and Luo Su could see the savagery in Fox’s eyes, stimulated by her excitement.
Bong!!
“Aaaaaaah!”
Fox screamed, falling out of Bullet Time as she fell over, clutching her knee. Luo Su’s face was still rather pale, and his legs were still slightly trembling. Fox gave him a weird look as he raised his hand and knocked at the place between his legs.
Ding! Ding! Ding!
It was the melodious ringing of metal. He was wearing metal underwear!
“I’m sorry. I forgot to tell you that I was wearing armor.”
Luo Su obnoxiously explained, but inwardly, he was still rather fearful. Fox’s knee had been packed with power, and even with the metal underwear, he had still felt the impact. If he hadn’t been ready, he would have ended up just like Slickback.
And even still, he also felt a faint sorrow!
Fox staggered up from the crowd, but the pain of her shattered kneecap made her incapable of moving quickly. As Luo Su mercilessly walked over, she immediately began to run for the M9.
Fox wasn’t moving very quickly, and Luo Su needed only two large steps to catch up to her, but this was her trap. Fox suddenly turned, her feet kicking up a cloud of dust. As Luo Su instinctively moved to cover his eyes, she tried to give him an uppercut to the chin.
Luo Su took a step back, dodging the uppercut, but he was then pushed to the ground by Fox.
Fox mounted Luo Su’s body and once more entered Bullet Time, her fists punching at Luo Su from both the left and right.
There was no time to appreciate the taut muscle of her thighs. Luo Su put his arms in front of his face to block the barrage of blows. He failed to block some of the punches, and the pain stimulated his inner beast, and he decided to stop blocking.
He raised his hand, grabbed the protrusion on Fox’s chest, and twisted!
A full 90 degrees!
Fox’s face twisted in pain, and her hands naturally slowed. As the strength drained out of her, Luo Su’s knee struck her back, causing her to fall to the side.
Luo Su quickly got to his feet, patting his swollen face. Fox was also struggling to get up, so he gave her a swift kick to the chest, after which he pressed down on Fox’s arm with his legs while he seated himself on her stomach.
Fox felt like she could barely breathe, and then she faced a barrage of punches from Luo Su.
With her arms held down and a man sitting on her chest, Fox could do nothing but be a punching bag. Her attempts to enter Bullet Time were also interrupted by the pain, and her beautiful face soon swelled into that of a pig’s.
Luo Su sensed that Fox was weakening. He gave one last punch to the bridge of her nose, making sure to rub it in once or twice before finally raising up his bloodstained fist.
“Man, to think that fighting with women was so tiring…”
