Mr. Lu, the World’s Sweetest Man - Chapter 53

She glanced at the spot between his legs and noticed something suspicious, like a protrusion.

But Yun Wei didn’t have any experience with this type of thing and couldn’t work out what it was.

Oh, whatever. She decided to focus her attention on the writing board and ignore Zhanting.

At that moment, the bell rang, signaling the end of the lesson.

The teacher walked toward Lu Zhanting.

The other girls had also crowded around him, all desperately wanting to get physically closer to Lu Zhanting.

“Master Ting, my students and I are really honored to have you sit in on our lesson today,” The teacher said respectfully to Lu Zhanting.

Lu Zhanting remained seated and appeared to have no intention whatsoever of standing up.

Darn it!

Once again, Lu Zhanting silently and violently cursed Yun Wei.

The effect that the little woman’s action had had on him was still evident.

And he couldn’t possibly stand up right now.

At that moment, Yun Wei was finally able to confirm the condition that Lu Zhanting was in…

Unable to hide her laughter, she tried her best to suppress it by burying her face in her arms on the desk, her shoulder blades shaking with laughter.

While Lu Zhanting wanted to beat her up to release his anger.

The teacher dithered, making small talk for a long while before Lu Zhanting was finally able to stand up.

He said, “Yun Wei, can you come with me to the administrator’s office to copy a file?”

Yun Wei knew that there was potential danger here. If she followed him to a place where no one else was present, there was a high probability that something would happen.

All she’d wanted to do was ignite a spark, not get burnt herself.

“Oh… my apologies, but I need to use the washroom. Please excuse me, Master Ting. I’m heading to the washroom now. Goodbye.” That said, she literally flew outside.

In an instant, Lu Zhanting’s expression changed.

The other girls fell over themselves to offer their services. “Master Ting, I can help you with the copy. I’ve done it before, and I can write very quickly.”

“Master Ting, I have time. Let me help.”

“Master Ting, I’m a member of the student’s union and would be more than happy to help Master Ting copy the file.”

As his eyes followed Yun Wei’s receding form, Lu Zhanting said with gritted teeth, “No need. I’ve just remembered an urgent matter that needs my attention, so there’s no need to copy the file.”

Having said that, he walked through the crowd and strode outside.

Yun Wei hid in the washroom, taking her time to wash her hands, slowly forming the handwash detergent into bubbles and then rinsing them off.

She wasn’t about to step outside right now.

Although he looked the picture of perfect calm and cool, Lu Zhanting was in fact a hot-blooded, big, bad wolf, and she wasn’t about to go outside and be caught by him.

While Yun Wei was washing her hands, Hua Shasha walked over and demanded, “Yun Wei, are you able to solve problems now? Is your head normal now?”

“What head? What problem?” Yun Wei smiled sweetly as she looked at Hua Shasha.

“Yun Wei, stop putting on an act. What on earth is the matter with you now?” Hua Shasha asked, upset and frustrated.

“What garlic? I do love garlic, but only when served with shellfish,” Yun Wei replied with a sincere look on her face.

Seeing that Yun Wei didn’t seem to be pretending, Hua Shasha asked, “I’m asking you about the problem earlier. What happened there? How did you know how to solve it?”

“Oh, that problem… actually, I didn’t know how to solve it, but I saw the answer in Jian Zhifei’s notebook,” Yun Wei replied with a laugh, adding, “When you made me stand up to offer an answer, I just read out what I’d seen.”

“Really?” Hua Shasha didn’t believe her.

Yun Wei responded, “Oh yes. Let me show you.”

Back in the classroom, Yun Wei retrieved Jian Zhifei’s notebook and turned to the page where the problem that the teacher had given them was written. Jian Zhifei had done her homework and written the solution neatly in her notebook.

Yun Wei hadn’t noticed it before. In fact, she’d discovered it only after the lesson had ended.
