She placed her focus back onto herself. Yet, the moment she looked to her side, she found the man beside her staring fixedly on her.
Her heart trembled a little as she forced herself to speak. “Young Master He, may I ask where you are bringing me to?”
“To my house for now.” He gave a light smile. “The doctor is waiting at home. He will treat the wound on your face.”

She still recalled this man telling Su Guoan that she was his woman… He must have been joking, right?
She mustered up her courage, wanting to ask him about his intentions. Unexpectedly, though, the man smiled as his dark eyes seemed to sparkle and come alive. “Your name is Su Zhixi?”
“Er… Yes.” His smile stunned her.
“I am He Jingyao.” He caught her hand as he spoke and his voice turned a little hoarser. “Have you remembered it?”
She hurriedly nodded. “Yes.”
So he truly is from the famed He family.
Still, her hand was being tightly grasped by the man… His fingers were long and strong… and also a little callused…
Her heart trembled again as she instinctively withdrew her hand. Alas, she was unsuccessful.
He Jingyao gave her a deep look and, as though he was doing it subconsciously, tickled her palm a little, then interlaced their fingers.
This was such an amorous action… She could feel the tickle in her heart… and her cheeks instantly exploded into a bright shade of red!
He Jingyao suddenly chuckled softly. “Your hand is so soft.”
She replied in an annoyed yet embarrassed voice, “Young Master He!”

Huo Yanhui shook his head to confirm that he was not hallucinating. “Are you healed already?”

Despite being filled with questions and confusion, Huo Yanhui still conscientiously and diligently inspected Su Zhixi’s wound upon seeing how panicked this young master was.
Just as his hands touched Su Zhixi’s face as he was taking a closer look at her wound, it was immediately slapped away by He Jingyao!
