Morning, the Heir - Chapter 130

Lin Xiaomi tasted some of Cheng Min’s food while no one was watching. It was so good that she thought she’d be more than happy to eat them all.

Then she looked at the food she made. Young Master had finished most of it.

She was astonished to find out that Leng Yihuang was quite a nice man. Didn’t he do all that just to win her some respect in this house?

That thought made Lin Xiaomi want to treat him better, so she started to pick up food for him like Cheng Min did.

But she forgot to use the serving chopsticks. She used her own chopsticks to pick up some sweet and sour fish and she carefully got the bones away. She’s never served anyone like this in her whole lifetime.

But the moment she put the fish on Young Master’s plate…

Cheng Min, who was standing nearby, cried out in alarm, “Madam, you…”

Shocked, Lin Xiaomi looked back in panic, but Cheng Min didn’t finish her sentence.

And she couldn’t finish it. With her eyes wide open, she watched Leng Yihuang swallow the fish without any hesitation.

She couldn’t believe that a neat freak like him was even able to do that.

“Stewardess Cheng, you were saying…?” Lin Xiaomi looked back at her.

Cheng Min didn’t respond. She turned around and walked outside with her spirit crushed out of her.

In the yard, Cheng Min stood there silently with her eyebrows drawn together and disbelief all over her face.

Cheng Jie walked over and patted her shoulder to give her some condolences.

“Why is this happening?” She couldn’t understand it and her voice cracked, “Why is Young Master treating her so differently? Why did he tell her to take care of his everyday life? Why did he eat the food she made? My food is way better than hers. Just one look at her food made me feel like vomiting. In no way could it have tasted good. He was always picky when it comes to food. Why did he say her food was not bad?”

Cheng Min looked at Cheng Jie helplessly, “Doesn’t he always want things to be clean? Even if it’s Mr. President who picks up food for him without using serving chopsticks, he will refuse to eat it. But just now, just now he ate the food that woman picked up for him, and she didn’t use serving chopsticks. Why did he do that?”

She clutched at Cheng Jie’s shirt and asked nervously, “He lost his memory, right? Is it possible that he hasn’t fully recovered? Or was his brain also injured and he’s not thinking right?”

Cheng Jie felt bad seeing how worked up Cheng Min was. He took her hands and patted them gently, “She’s his wife. There’s nothing wrong that he treats her differently.”

“There’s nothing wrong?!” Cheng Min shook his hand off and walked a few steps backwards, “His wife? What has she got? She isn’t qualified for that. Who is she anyway? She isn’t even suitable for carrying his shoes.”

Cheng Jie frowned, “Cheng Min, never say that again! She saved his life. Had it not been for her, he would have died! He’s indebted to her. It makes sense that he treats her better.”

Disaffected, Cheng Min craned her neck, “Just because she saved his life, he had to marry her? He could have given her money. Why did he have to sacrifice his marriage? He doesn’t even love her!”

Cheng Jie realized that Cheng Min was missing the point here. He sighed helplessly, “How do you know that he’s got no feelings for her?”

“Cheng Jie!!” Cheng Min got so worked up that she interrupted him, “He couldn’t have fallen in love with her! If you keep talking such nonsense, I’ll stop talking to you!”

Cheng Min stared at him without cheer, “Young Master can’t decide on his own marriage. He isn’t some commoner. Only Mr. President has a say in it. Now he got married without asking Mr. President first. Mr. President won’t approve it. Besides, you can’t forget the one in the capital!”

Cheng Jie looked away and sighed again. He didn’t argue with Cheng Min on that point, but he couldn’t help thinking that since Young Master had done it, he would find a way to keep it that way.

In the dining room, Lin Xiaomi was bewildered and asked, “What’s wrong with Stewardess Cheng?”

Leng Yihuang knew why Cheng Min was so surprised.

His demand for tidiness must have been so high that no one could ever stand it.

But he’d stayed with Lin Xiaomi ever after he lost his memory, so he was okay with everything that she did.

It turned out that his fear of dirtiness wasn’t for everyone.

Leng Yihuang had a great appetite today and Lin Xiaomi had never been so attentive to him.

He pushed the whole plate of Sour and Sweet Fish to the front of her and said in an emotionless tone, “Remove the bones!”

Lin Xiaomi had a favor to ask and she was in his villa, so she didn’t dare to say no. Immediately she started to remove the bones.

Leng Yihuang was almost full, so he turned towards Lin Xiaomi and watched her removing the bones.

With her attentiveness and earnestness, she looked so much cuter.

He’d never been treated like this before. When he was Lin Hai, it was a rare luxury to be able to eat the food she made with so much care.

Now, he would make the best out of this chance to be treated like an emperor.

As he couldn’t let others know what he liked, he never ate too much of anything. That was why nobody knew that he loved sweet food.

“Young Master, it’s done.” Lin Xiaomi flexed her rigid fingers. Looking at the bones she’d removed, she never thought she were capable of doing something so meticulously.

Lin Xiaomi pushed the plate back to Young Master and said, “Please, Young Master!”

Leng Yihuang raised his head and moved his lips, “Feed me.”

“Yes,” Lin Xiaomi wore a smiley face but she couldn’t help thinking that what an unbearable man he was! He had people feed him while eating. Did he have his trousers taken off when answering the call of nature?

Though she kept that thought to herself, she never expected that it would become reality.

Lin Xiaomi put the fish in his mouth with great consideration. Now that Leng Yihuang’s stomach was full, he was in a much better mood.

Almost subconsciously, he reached out and pinched Lin Xiaomi’s face, “Well done.”

After he did that, both of them felt awkward.

Leng Yihuang had never been so close to anyone before. He had Lin Hai’s memory, but he was still Leng Yihuang.

However…

Leng Yihuang genuinely thought that it felt great. He stretched out his hand which he intended to draw back and squeezed her face again.

He frowned, “You’re as thin as a rake. I can’t even feel it. Come eat.”

Lin Xiaomi froze and she felt a lump in her throat. She lowered her head and started stuffing her mouth with rice, fearing that he might see the tears in her eyes.

At that moment, she almost thought that the man sitting next to her was Lin Hai.

But she knew that it couldn’t be true.

Leng Yihuang watched her eating, and somehow he felt pity for her.

He forgot to be indifferent and condescending as he always was, and picked up some food for her and rambled, “I told you to eat. And all you eat is rice. Are you trying to make me mad? Eat some meat!”
