A group of players cautiously navigated through the jungle.
“Stay sharp, we’re dealing with an expert here,” said BeastWhisperer, the team leader.
Leading in the front was MountainCarrier, a Warrior. He had his shield help up high while he scanned for the corpses. “Fanatic is such a troublemaker. The game has just started and we were supposed to be training ourselves, not going around causing trouble.” Mountain muttered.
“The key word is StarFire, he provoked StarFire. An entire team was wiped out twice by him alone. It will be bad news if we were to encounter him,” said PriestGirl in the team.
“That’s enough, stop complaining. After all, Boss has been nice to us. Now that Boss’s brother was bullied, we have to help out even if we don’t care.” BeastWhisperer frowned. “Also, it’s fine for you guys to say these things in the team chat. You will be dead if Fanatic hears all these.”
“Be rest assured Beast, we’re not stupid.” PriestGirl laughed.
At that moment, a white shadow caught her eye. “There is something in the bush.”
Without delay, Beast shot an arrow at the bush. The team Mage too casted Frozen Arrow.

The intense explosion startled the team.
“What the hell is that thing?” The Warrior started to worry after seeing the blazing flames. Although it was not close, they still felt the searing heat.

BeastWhisperer trembled in fear as he saw the thick steel arrow pierced onto a nearby tree. The sight made his scalp itch.
He felt that something was not right, the arrow was dripping blood. He heard someone making a weird chuckling sound. At the same time, he felt his body burning up, as though boiling water was being poured on his back.
Beast turned around and his face went pale. PriestGirl and the Mage had their hands over their necks.
Their eyes were filled with pain and confusion. Slowly, their bodies collapsed onto the ground.
“He’s a hundred yards away, how is this possible?” MountainCarrier was disheartened by the sight, “Boss, are you sure?”
“I’m very sure. If he’s close by, we would have spotted him.” BeastWhisperer replied bitterly.
The three dared not expose themselves. Another squad soon arrived, Beast cautioned them and explained the incident in the team chat. The squads were hiding behind some trees.
The captain of the second team of the second regiment, DoubleFighter, swallowed hard and said, “This is insane, two instant kills with one arrow. Beast, you’re a Hunter too, care to explain what’s going on?”
“He’s using steel arrows, which are as thick as fingers, and it was fired with a heavy crossbow which is equivalent to a sniper rifle. The throat is a dangerous point of a human body. With enough weapon damage and tear damage, anyone can be killed in an instant.” Beast explained. “His archery is unmatched. I’m guessing he’s a world athlete in real life, not just any athlete.”
“I don’t care if he’s an athlete, kill him! Other squads, I want you all to surround him. I do not believe that nothing is able to stop him. This game is not meant for solo players.” GloryFanatic shouted in the team voice chat.
Beast frowned. “Everyone, find cover. Approach using the trees as cover. This is a forest, it will be hard for us to spot him, but it will be even harder for him to find a better spot to snipe us from afar. Just be careful and there will be no problems.”
After he saying so, everyone scattered away. “There is no need to be afraid, the only person that should feel afraid is StarFire. He will be dead once he’s surrounded, then we will upload his death video on the internet. Shengshi will be famous.” DoubleFighter said.
With his well-coordinated commands, members of Shengshi guild started to gain some confidence.
Li Yao frowned slightly. He could not find any suitable shooting angle, so he put away his heavy crossbow and began to set up his Explosive Sheep.

Minutes later, shadowy figures appeared out of the trees. The tree that Li Yao was on was surrounded by players.
“This must be quite a battle. I did not expect you to send out an entire army just to get me.”
GloryFanatic glared at him coldly. “Run, why didn’t you run? Aren’t you good in running away?”
Li Yao rolled his eyes at him. “I don’t understand what you have just said. When did I ever run away? I’ve been waiting here for almost half an hour.”
“Shut your trap or I’ll…”
“Fanatic, wait.” BeastWhisperer stopped Fanatic and whispered, “Boss has given us new orders, you have to wait.”
GloryFanatic gave a cold grunt and turned away.
BeastWhisperer cleared his throat. “Brother StarFire, our boss greatly admires your skills, abilities as well as your talents. Did you know that because of your impulsive actions, you have missed your chance to get rich?”
Li Yao gave him a mocking look. “It was Lord Shengshi who told you to say that, right? Did he mention that as long as I apologize publicly in the game forum, he will sign a money contract with me and we will be cool afterwards?”
“How did you know?” Fanatic’s eyes were wide opened.
“Lord Shengshi is a low-life who is lower than a dog. He never changes. Tell him to call me daddy.”
Everyone was dumbfounded. What the hell, did this guy know how powerful their boss was? From what he said, it was obvious that he knew. Going against their boss with such attitude and remarks would mean a painful death.
BeastWhisperer was also shocked. “Do you know that what you have just said is going to get you into trouble? I know that you soloed a boss, got a Platinum Medal, and are an expert player. I just want to know, what has Shengshi done that has offended you?” Beast frowned.
Li Yao looked down at the members from Shengshi Guild. “Nothing, it’s just I could not stand seeing players from Shengshi Guild. I just had the urge to beat up scums from Shengshi.”

Spell incantations could be heard from all sides. All Mages tried to cast spells from a distance when close-combat classes were eyeing Li Yao so he could not escape.
“You’re all dummies. Do you think I would just sit here without nothing and wait for you to kill me?”
Li Yao stood on a branch twenty-yard high from the ground and shouted, “Here comes the fireworks! Everyone, cover your ears.”
Saying that, LI Yao was the first to cover his ears. BeastWhisperer and the others looked at Li Yao like he was an idiot. ‘What fireworks? You’re going to be blown into pieces.’
Nonetheless, before their spells were completed, ripples of flames burst out of nowhere. Explosions could be heard one after another.

Below Li Yao, it looked like a burning city, everything was red. The entire ground was engulfed by the intense explosions.
Tens of dozens of players were instantly killed before they could even figure out what had happened.
Flames, black smoke, and the white light that followed after the players’ death had formed into a single picture.
Li Yao’s ears were still buzzing from the blast. He threw three Arrow Towers below of him.

The towers began shooting at every remaining survivor from the blast. In less than a minute, the ground became a complete mess.
Li Yao jumped down from the tree and began charging his arrow. His arrow began to glimmer in yellow light as he searched for living survivors.
Behind a big tree, BeastWhisperer was wolfing down bread to replenish his health. He saw Li Yao’s figure and said coldly, “Do you know the consequences of your actions?”
His entire body was covered in injuries, his health was dropping nonstop. He looked miserable.
“What consequences, getting hunted down by Shengshi? Thanks for the reminder.”
Li Yao released his fingers. The arrow pierced through Beast’s eye socket. His health bar was cleared to zero.
“StarFire, you’re dead, You’re so dead! We will forever hunt you down, wherever you are. Don’t let me find out your real identity, I’m going to kill you!” GloryFanatic was buried deep under the corpses of his underlings. His eyes were red with hatred.
“I’m so scared.” Li Yao snickered. His arrow was ready. “Besides, I’ve recorded what you have just said. I believe you will be investigated, prepare to spend the night there.”
“You prick.”
GloryFanatic was shocked. No matter who he was, with the recording he would be arrested for a few days.
“Thank you for the compliment, I hope you will enjoy your stay.” Li Yao shot through his head, killing him in an instant.
The flames had died down, and the shrubs had turned into ashes.
Li Yao picked up the dropped items. He kept the Green equipment and discarded White equipment. There were seven squads with thirty five players in total, most of them were killed by his Explosive Sheep and the rest were finished off by his Arrow Towers.
He picked up thirteen Green items, three of which were leather armor and was worn by Li Yao.
“Hi, could you look at this recording and see how you will handle it?” Li yao sent the recorded materials to the company. Although Fanatic could not be punished by law, he could still be arrested for a few days.
Ten minutes later, the players were revived. They were all speechless.

The crowd heard another crossbow arrow piercing through the air.
Then, they saw Fanatic gripping at his neck and he had collapsed once more. Behind him, a bloody steel arrow was burrowed deep into the tree trunk.
The crowd looked in the direction from where the arrow came. Li Yao was on a big tree a hundred yards away. Li Yao waved at them.
They stared at each other as a chill ran down their spines.
Looking at the rank on the team panel, the captains were disheartened.
Thirty five players had died once. Some of them were nearly Level 4, but ended up dying and were down-levelled to Level 2, loosing more than one level of Exp. The level 4 players were dropped to Level 3.
GloryFanatic had it the worst. He died three times and was originally Level 4. Now, he was Level 1. A few unlucky members died twice. From Level 3, they dropped to Level 1.
To make matters worse, they were the elites of Shengshi Guild. This operation alone had destroyed an entire regiment. Those who fell below Level 2 could not enter any stage challenges.
“Should we go after him?” DoubleFighter asked.
BeastWhisperer gave him a look and said, “How are we supposed to go after him? We were wiped out earlier, and now our levels have dropped…”
“Is this a game or World War II? How did he have so much explosives? Such a bully.” DoubleFighter said angrily.
Although they would not like to admit it, they were seriously terrified of Li Yao. If they continue to go after him, they might be killed and drop to Level 0.
