Li Yao smiled faintly. With a flash, he disappeared behind the tree and slipped down. Shengshi Guild had always been his biggest enemy. Them trying to attack his sister was the wrong move, he felt that there was no need for him to hold back.
A huge fireball and a ray of holy light bombarded the tree Li Yao was on. Li Yao slipped away from the tree and began charging his arrows. When he reappeared, he had his three-bar Charged Arrow ready.
This time, his target was the healer Priest.

He overestimated himself, Li Yao had trained archery for eight years. The golden arrow pierced through his left leg.
At the same time, his right leg was stepping forward in mid-air. Although it was just a two-bar Charged Arrow, it landed on his left knee joint which was supporting his body. He could not help but fall onto the ground.

TwinkleBeauty put away her weapon. “Dragon Zhao, move aside, he’s our people.”
Dragon’s lips twitched. He was unwilling to move aside as he thought that he was the pro player here. At first, he came here to be a hero to save the day but ended up dead on the street.
Just now, he died because he was outnumbered and he was fine with that. However, what he could not stand when faced with Li Yao was that they were both Hunters, he died before having the chance to attack whereas Li Yao killed four people on his own.
When compared to Li Yao, he was just a weakling.
Li Yao knew this guy in his previous life. He was considered an average amateur. When faced with ten billion players, he was nothing.
Li Yao turned to Li Jia. “Let’s retreat. From what I know about Shengshi’s way of handling matters, they won’t give up even though they have died.”
“Why, are you scared?” Dragon said spitefully.
“Stand your ground right here if you have the guts.”
Li Yao picked up the items dropped by the dead squad. The priest dropped a Green Cloak and GloryFanatic dropped a Green Staff. The remaining players only had White equipment.
“Qionghua Club has never feared Shengshi.” Dragon’s eyes were scorching with hate when he saw Li Yao putting the items into his backpack.
“As you wish.” Li Yao gave his sister the staff. “I will look over their bodies. Later when their backup arrives, it will not be easy to escape. They won’t let you have a duel next time.”
“Sister Bing?” Li Jia turned to TwinkleBeauty.
“Let’s go, leveling up is more important. There is no need for us die here.” Twinkle nodded. “You should follow us too. Leveling up is our main priority here. Fighting with them isn’t worth your time.”
“I’ll leave after one wave.” Li Yao thanked her for her consideration.
Twinkle nodded and did not say much, since they did not know each other that well.

Because of his cloak, Li Jia could not see his face. “Be careful.”
Li Jia’s friend took a hold of her hand and she began to run, her ponytail dancing on her shoulders.
Dragon’s face had turned green and white, he left after giving Li Yao a death stare. He could not stay back. He had dropped a level and if his level were to continue to drop, he would be behind the others.
Li Yao scanned his surroundings, it was a typical jungle. The trees shaded the sky with vines dropping from the canopy, although not as much as a rainforest, it was not too little either.
Other than the fighting area, the ground was covered with shrubs.
Li Yao went around and hid behind one of the shrubs. He began placing his Explosive Sheep and directed them to hide in between the shrubs.
In just minutes, Li Yao had placed few dozens of Explosive Sheep. If anyone were to look around, they would be able to see at least one sheep in every bush. The entire area had become a mine field.
Then, Li Yao took out his Heavy Crossbow and mounted a thick, steel arrow. Li Yao bought this arrow on his way here. The arrow was more than a meter in length and was as thick as a finger. The sharp tip was covered with finely shredded barbs which would make your scalp tingle by just looking at it.
He waited for a few minutes. Finally, the players were revived.
“Damn it, how much longer do we have to wait for our help. We must not let that StarFire bastard get away!”

Before GloryFanatic could finish his sentence, a thick steel arrow went through his throat. That gigantic arrow pierced through his throat and into the tree behind him, leaving a huge bloody gap in his throat. If he did not hold onto his neck, his head might have fallen off.

The sheep exploded into four blinding infernos. The four revived players, including the bandit, were blasted away. Their health bars were emptied and their bodies were blown into pieces.
After death, the player’s spirit would stay in a nearby graveyard and they would have to find their dead bodies to resurrect. After resurrection, the player would only have a third of the original health. With their low health, they stood no chance against Li Yao’s heavy crossbow and Explosive Sheep.
“Damn you StarFire!” GloryFanatic yelled frantically in his team chat. “What are you all waiting for? I have lost two levels, kill him!”
GloryFanatic was going insane. Since the start of the game, he had yet experienced loss this way. Earlier, he thought that he had really died. If it were not for the system’s brain protection, he might have been brain-dead in real life.
