The night scene shrouded the deserted island and not a single sound could be heard. It was also pitch-black, where one could not see their outstretched hands.
Sounds of waterfall came from the pool, bringing out traces of life to the deadly silent deserted island.
Within the cave, a lady of mixed race was lying on the bed as she was deep asleep. The ground near the bed was covered with hay and dead branches and Thomas was currently sleeping atop of it.
The interior of the cave was extremely dark, emphasizing the silence and only both their breathing sounds could be heard. All of a sudden, Thomas, who was lying on the hay, suddenly shifted and caused a rustling sound.
Soon after, Thomas stealthily climbed up and crept to Helen’s side on tiptoes.
“Helen, you are mine. Mine! No one can snatch you away!”
Thomas’s gaze was blazing, similar to two lanterns in the darkness that radiated green light. He crept to the bedside and carefully reached out to Helen’s body before pouncing on her.
Due to the heavy pressure, Helen roused from her dreams. She then discovered that her arm had been caressed and pinched by someone, and it was about to touch her chest. At the same time, a warm breath blew on her stomach and she was instantly surprised yet furious. How could she be oblivious to what was happening!
“Thomas, you are a beast. Get away from me!”
While feeling surprised and infuriated at the same time, Helen mustered up all her strength and struggled violently. She then raised her fist and threw a punch at Thomas. Her legs were not idle as her knees kicked up with all her strength!

The deserted island was enveloped in darkness and it was pitch-black outside. Helen, who was filled with grief and indignation had tripped over something the moment she ran out the courtyard and crashed on the ground with a scream.
“Ah! My leg… who is it??”
“Who’s there?!”
Just as Helen endured the severe pain and wanted to get up, a wave of dull footsteps had shocked her, causing her complexion to turn ashen white. She and Thomas were the only ones on this island, so where did these footsteps come from?
Could it be some sort of beast?
Or perhaps those barbarians had returned?
“Helen, it’s me, Xue Yue!” However, never in her wildest dreams did she expect to hear a familiar voice.
When she heard the voice, she turned pale from shock as she was somewhat in disbelief. With a trembling voice, she asked, “Xue Yue, didn’t you die? How are you here?”
Xue Yue walked out of the mountain forest and jumped down from the slope, reaching Helen’s side in several steps. His voice, as cold as the Arctic sounded, “Die? Indeed, I had nearly died, but it seems it’s not my time yet and the heavens do not dare to accept me! Thomas, that b*stard had…”
When Helen realized that Xue Yue was still alive, she pounced over in happiness while crying and laughing at the same time. “You’re not dead? That’s great. I thought you passed away… Wuu wuu~~ It’s great, the gods must have blessed you!”

“He ran?” Xue Yue was surprised and angry. He dashed out of the cave and stared at his surroundings in search of a trace of him, but could not spot a single strand of his hair. “He must have heard my voice earlier and escaped in fright. That b*stard!”
Just then, Goldie on his head cooed twice, flew to the space above the pool and circled around a spot.
“He hid himself underwater?”
Xue Yue’s eyes brightened and he ran to the edge of the pool in a hurry.
“Thomas, get out!”
The surface of the pool remained calm without any movement!
“Good! So you won’t come up, huh? I’d like to see how long you can last!”
Xue Yue laughed maliciously and stood rooted while his tiger-like eyes coldly scanned the pool.
True to his guess, Thomas could not sustain underwater for long. Less than a minute passed and a water ripple could be heard while Thomas’s head came out the water.
“Hah! I was wondering how long you could possibly last…”
Xue Yue took off his shirt, jumped down and swam directly towards Thomas!
“No! Don’t come any closer!”
Thomas turned pale with fright and swam towards the opposite direction. However, how could his speed possibly compare to Xue Yue? He did not manage to swim far before he had been grabbed by Xue Yue like an eagle catching a little chick!
“Xue Yue, please let me go. I must have been momentarily possessed to have committed such an act. I know my mistake. It’s my fault, I beg of you to let me off!”

“What? So that was what happened?!” Helen was gobsmacked and her furious gaze immediately locked onto Thomas as she reprimanded him. “Thomas, how could you do this? Xue Yue had saved our lives, how could you do this to him?”
“Helen, save your breath. I will kill this b*stard today!”
Xue Yue was burning with rage and could not be bothered to waste his breath on him. He grabbed Thomas by the collar and just as his fist was about to strike, Helen had unexpectedly stopped him.

Goldie glanced at Thomas and shook its head like a rattle as if saying, “I won’t move!”

Shortly after, the corpse flew up and swiftly shrunk in size and flew towards Goldie’s mouth. In the end, it had been swallowed by Goldie and disappeared with a trace!
