Recently, there had been an influx of people coming to climb the mountain. In addition, this mountain was high indeed, so many people came here with ambitious goals but in the end, they didn’t have the confidence to continue on. They all chose to take the cable car after climbing up half of the mountain.
When they reached the cable car section, Ye Mu’s complexion had already recovered. But, Ye Qiyi who had arrived in a rush later on, her entire face was flushed and beads of perspiration were rolling down her temples. Although her make-up didn’t smudge, sweat had soaked patches of her face so some places were white while others were red from allergies.
“Yiming, let’s sit in the cable car. I can’t take it anymore…” Ye Qiyi panted harshly as she walked to the side of the cable car, the corners of her lips turning white.
A lot of people had chosen to take the cable car today, so only two cars were left after. The rest of the people who had chosen to take the earlier cable cars had not come back down yet.
“We’ll sit in the cable car.” Gu Yiming’s cheek twitched and he raised his hand to grab onto Ye Qiyi’s shoulder, “Can you still climb up? If not, we’ll turn back.”
Ye Qiyi lacked exercise so, the fact that she could reach this place from the foot of the mountain, meant that she had already used up all of her perseverance. But at this moment, since Gu Yiming had asked her and she didn’t want to disappoint him either, she could only suppress her discomfort and shake her head, “No need, I can do it.”
Gu Yiming nodded his head and half-carried her towards the cable car. Unfortunately, the last two cable cars had already been occupied by students. Those students weren’t in a rush to get on and looked towards Ye Qiyi. Each of them suddenly exclaimed in surprise, “Hey, isn’t that person that celebrity? Is she the one… called Ye something?”
“Looks like it’s her! How coincidental; she also came to climb the mountain! That man by her side must be her boyfriend. How handsome!”
“Quick, let’s go over! Let’s go and ask her for a few group photos!”
In twos and threes, the young girls pushed and squeezed their way over—all of them running over with visible excitement on their faces.

“Are you that Song Qiniang from ‘Beacon Hero’? I like you so much! Can you take a photo with us?” Admiration filled the girl’s voice and the few girls accompanying her looked at Ye Mu with expectation.
Ye Mu didn’t think that someone would recognize her and she looked at Mo Shen hesitantly.
“I’ll take the photo for all of you,” Mo Shen was somewhat polite towards the fans who liked his own wife as he took the camera from the girl’s hand.
“Thank you.” They were so over the moon that they quickly stood beside Ye Mu and stared enviously at Mo Shen.
My goodness, was this boyfriend of Miss Ye’s also a celebrity? How could he be so handsome?
Mo Shen took a few photos for them and returned the camera with a smile, “There it is.”
“Excuse me, are you Miss Ye’s boyfriend? Can we take a photo with you too?” The girl who retrieved the camera asked carefully.
Mo Shen shook his head and refused in a straightforward manner, “I’m sorry.”
Those few girls were sensible enough to understand and nodded their heads repeatedly. They spoke a few more words with Ye Mu before getting onto their cable car.
When Ye Qiyi—who was standing in front of Ye Mu—saw this scene, she felt upset. Could it be that a young diva like her wasn’t as well-known as a newcomer who had just debuted in the entertainment industry?
Were this bunch of people blind? How could they possibly look for her instead?
Mo Shen and Ye Mu did not notice the couple in front of them as they got onboard the cable car.
The staff manning the cable car was about to shut the door when he looked in Ye Qiyi and Gu Yiming’s direction and asked, “Are you two coming? If not, you may need to wait two hours for the next car!”
“Coming.” Gu Yiming was wearing sunglasses so no one could read the emotions in his eyes but Ye Qiyi could feel it clearly—there was a biting chill when he said that one word.
Ye Qiyi glanced at Gu Yiming; she was naturally unwilling to wait for two hours so even though reluctance was written all over her face, she still walked inside.
Ye Mu still hadn’t raised her head to look at the people sitting across her and assumed that they were other travelers. She retrieved the mineral water from her bag and handed it to Mo Shen, “Drink some water.”
Naturally, Mo Shen saw the hostile gazes from the people who had gotten onboard and chuckled. He continued buttoning his sleeves freely with his head hung down and tilted his head to look at Ye Mu’s water bottle, “You feed me.”
“Here.” Ye Mu only assumed that he didn’t have time since he was buttoning, so she smiled as per usual and delivered the bottle to his mouth.
An extremely harmonious atmosphere fluttered between the two of them and the people watching opposite snorted aloud.
Just because of this snort, Ye Mu turned her head to see Ye Qiyi and Gu Yiming. Looking slightly surprised, she quickly regained her expression. None of the four people greeted one another.
Ye Qiyi stared coldly at Ye Mu. Then, she suddenly raised her hand to point at the scenery below the cable car as she exclaimed to Gu Yiming in surprise, “Yiming, look at the scenery below us. Isn’t it pretty nice?”
Gu Yiming’s gaze shifted away from Ye Mu’s person very reluctantly and glanced below the cable car coolly, replying perfunctorily, “Not bad indeed.”
Among the four people seated in the cable car, Mo Shen was mostly likely the one who acted the most normal. Throughout the ride, his lips were curved in a smile and although he didn’t purposely direct his attention at them, Gu Yiming still saw ridicule in it.
The short 10-minute ride in the cable car was simply unbearable to Ye Mu. She could not stand the heavy and embarrassed atmosphere. After alighting from the cable car, she rapidly left the couple’s line of sight. She hadn’t forgotten her mission and went straight to the temple.
The temple had plenty of activities to offer to the tourists, so Ye Mu chose to ring the bell and hang her wishes on the Tree of Happiness.
It was easy to ring the bell—after paying, she had to knock the bell thrice and the louder the volume of each chime, the more effective her wish would be. With Mo Shen’s help, after ringing the bell incredibly loudly three times, Ye Mu wrote her wish down on a red ribbon and threw it up the tree.
Mo Shen watched Ye Mu quietly throughout but did not think that she was being childish. After finishing all of these,Ye Mu became so happy that her delicate face was filled with smiles, “Okay, let’s go back.”
“What did you wish for?” Mo Shen took her hand and inquired nonchalantly.
Ye Mu blinked mysteriously, “It’s a secret. I won’t tell you.”
Mo Shen lifted his brow but did not question her forcefully. One day, he would still find out.
Ye Mu was still smiling mysteriously as her eyes slipped towards a small stall outside the temple. She was about to ask him for permission to buy some snacks, “Young Uncle, I want…”
“Wait a minute.” Mo Shen glanced at his vibrating cell phone and took the call, “Hello.”
Ye Mu nodded and pointed to the small stall to gesture to Mo Shen that she wanted to go over.
Mo Shen nodded his head towards her and she walked over in high spirits.
“How much is this?” Ye Mu asked curiously as she lifted a special-looking bracelet at the stall.
Before the stall owner could speak, a large hand suddenly descended on the back of Ye Mu’s hand. Before she could raise her head in time, she was violently dragged into the temple by someone.
“What are you doing!” When Ye Mu lifted her head and saw Gu Yiming’s face clearly, she shook his hand off a bit angrily.
Gu Yiming really was like a lingering ghost. How could she see him everywhere she went!
Receiving the hatred at the bottom of Ye Mu’s eyes, Gu Yiming scrunched up his forehead and released Ye Mu’s hand slowly, before he asked sarcastically, “Do you hate me that much now?”
