Upon returning to their room, Ye Mu informed Mo Shen about what had happened. At first, Ye Mu thought that there was some sort of technical issue with the swimming pool. But when Mo Shen entered, a helpless smile surfaced on his lips.
He raised his hand and pressed the small button near the poolside. The wanton spray of water abruptly came to a halt. The balcony was filled with silence once more.
“So that’s how you do it…” Ye Mu chuckled.
She had no idea that there was a button on such an inconspicuous place.
Ye Mu was still soaked from head to toe and the towel that she had wrapped on her body was almost entirely drenched in water. Mo Shen pinched the bridge of his tall nose as he looked at the swimming pool. He glanced at Ye Mu and gestured, “Do you want to swim again?”
“I don’t know how to swim.” Ye Mu gave an honest answer, although she was evidently embarrassed for there was this tinge of crimson on her cheeks.
Mo Shen nodded. There were a lot of things that Ye Mu didn’t know. But he didn’t seem to care that she didn’t know how to swim as he asked, “Do you want to learn?”
“…” Ye Mu stared blankly at Mo Shen. She had always been interested in sports. Of course, that included swimming. Otherwise, she wouldn’t dare to take a dip earlier despite the fact that she didn’t know how to swim.
But before Ye Mu could even answer, Mo Shen wrapped her shoulders with his hand and pushed her towards the wardrobe cabinet. When the wardrobe door opened, Ye Mu was dumbfounded. The cabinet was full of women’s clothing and accessories.
“These… did the previous guest of this room leave these things accidentally?” She couldn’t help but ask in doubt upon staring at the assortment of clothes in a daze.
Hearing Ye Mu’s adorable voice and words, Mo Shen boisterously laughed. He wrapped her waist with his hand and smiled, “Little wife is really naïve.”
“Really?” Ye Mu smiled at Mo Shen. She had no idea if he was talking in jest, or if he was saying these words seriously.
Mo Shen opened one of the small drawers below the cabinet. The drawer had a lot of neatly folded bikinis for ladies. It also had a few swimming trunks for men.
“Young Uncle, I don’t think it’s good for us to take other people’s clothes like this?” Ye Mu was still convinced that these clothes were accidentally left behind by the previous guests of the room.
“These are all yours. Look at the size.” Mo Shen raised his brows, not wanting to argue with her.
Ye Mu stared at Mo Shen in suspicion, but as she inspected the clothes. She discovered that it really belonged to her! The size of the clothes was perfect, as well as the sizes of the bra and the bikinis.
But…
How come Mo Shen knew her bra size?
“We’re only going to stay here for a few days, yet you already bought so many clothes. How are we supposed to wear them all?” Ye Mu couldn’t help but let out a sigh when she realized that she had married a prodigal husband. How were they supposed to save money, if they continued to spend them so extravagantly?
But little did she know that Mo Shen didn’t spend anything on these clothes at all. They were all directly shipped by various branded clothing stores to the hotel as a symbol of courtesy to Mo Shen and these clothes were also a part of those brands’ latest clothing line.
“The money has already been spent, so the little wife should just wear them without worrying.” Mo Shen patted Ye Mu’s shoulders. He could only subterfuge his way out of this and deal with her like this.
Ye Mu looked at the sets of bikinis neatly packed in the drawer in a dilemma. She felt that these clothes didn’t suit her style at all. But it would be a pity not to wear them since they were already purchased and paid for.
Ten minutes later, Ye Mu was now wearing one of the bikinis, ready to learn how to swim.
Mo Shen arrived at the poolside earlier than her. After a round of swimming, he rested on a rattan chair by the pool. When Ye Mu walked over, his eyes shifted to her body and he found that it was too difficult to move his gaze away from Ye Mu’s body.
Ye Mu was indeed a beautiful woman with a gorgeous figure. The champagne-colored bikini contrasted her fair complexion.
Although she had covered the bikini with a smock dress, the subtle beauty that she radiated became the reason why it was difficult for anyone to move their eyes away from her. Her long and slender legs were also on full display.
Her fair body entered the swimming pool, and the splashes even seemed to be crystal clear.
Ye Mu was somewhat embarrassed, but she trusted Mo Shen, so she knew that she could believe in him, “Let’s get started.”
Mo Shen shifted his eyes away from her awkwardly as he cleared his throat with a cough, “Okay.”
“How about you try to swim by yourself first?” Mo She jumped into the pool and suggested.
Ye Mu did not even know what posture she should be using. She looked at her hands, not knowing how to start.
Mo Shen shook his head helplessly as he stepped forward to support her waist, “I will help you, don’t be afraid to stretch out your hands and feet freely.”
Ye Mu took a deep breath and nodded. She was almost swimming on the surface of the water, and the movement of her limbs turned somewhat refined under Mo Shen’s guidance.
Holding onto a woman’s waist whose back and legs were beautiful without a doubt—even Mo Shen felt that his self-control was on the verge of collapse. He tried to move his eyes away as much as possible as she cleared his throat and focused on teaching her how to swim.
“Just be natural in your movements, remember to look for that fleeting sensation of weightlessness.” Mo Shen reminded Ye Mu and corrected her movements.
Ye Mu complied and she was serious about trying to learn how to swim.
But she soon found herself exhausted.
Ye Mu could feel that there was something wrong with her posture. But before she could grasp that sensation and correct it, she got distracted and moved a little more than normal. She then sunk into the water.
“Ah!” Ye Mu had swallowed some water and as she flailed around to try and stand up in a panic. A pair of large hands had already picked her up.
“Are you okay?” Mo Shen frowned and looked at Ye Mu with concern.
Since Ye Mu had sunk into the depths of the pool, her hair that was initially tied up fell onto her shoulders like a waterfall. Her skin also turned pale from the shock. She shook her head in response to Mo Shen’s words as water dripped down her long eyelashes. She had swallowed some water, and she seemed to be choking in it as her chest vigorously rose and fell.
Mo Shen’s hands that held her waist burned.
Ye Mu’s hands were still on his chest, and the firm sensation of his sturdy pecs made her blush. She raised her head to look at Mo Shen and their eyes met naturally. The kiss that happened at the very next moment was expected, yet seemingly unexpected at the same time.
His lips pressed on hers and his big hand brought her closer to him. There was no space between their bodies at all and the most primitive desires between men and women started to blossom in their hearts.
Ye Mu was in a daze.
Suddenly, there was a gust of wind that blew into the open-air swimming pool. The breeze was chilling and her body quivered with it. But she was evidently trying her best to overcome the coldness. Her heart pounded against her chest, but the beautiful scenery beyond the swimming pool just couldn’t be ignored.
It was undeniable that this city was beautiful.
Ye Mu turned her gaze away from the surroundings back to Mo Shen’s face.
“Why are you looking at me?” When Mo Shen opened his dark eyes, he saw Ye Mu secretly looking at him.
Ye Mu shook her head and she wanted to say something, but she chose to be silent.
Mo Shen embraced her. With how close he was to her, Ye Mu felt a little out of breath as her face turned red. She had no choice but to lean on him to feel that sense of security.
“How many days are we staying here?” Ye Mu asked him softly.
Mo Shen’s voice was gentle, “As many as you want.”
Ye Mu was staring at him all this while, and at the moment their eyes met. The world was silenced.
When Gu Yiming and Ye Qiyi entered their room, Ye Qiyi glanced at her script for a while before she finally decided to take a bath. Gu Yiming stood on the balcony and as he was sipping his coffee, he inadvertently glanced at the open-air swimming pool in the next room.
Since he was so close, he could clearly see the scene that was unfolding.
The distance between the two rooms might be far from each other, but the swimming pools of the two Heaven rooms were open-air. In short, Gu Yiming could see what was happening in the open-air swimming pool next to their room.
Gu Yiming stared at the passionate kissing scene as the hand holding onto his coffee tightened involuntarily. The lines on his handsome face stiffened as his eyes gleamed in a dangerous light. He stood there holding a cup of coffee in his hand before he hurried back to his room and gave the customer service department of the hotel a call.
“Customer service? Heaven Room No. 1 wants to order two cups of bitter gourd juice. I want you to deliver it to them within two minutes.” Gu Yiming coldly instructed.
The ambiance surrounding the couple was entrancing. Ye Mu seemed to be ready to take the next step, but just as Mo Shen was about to go further. The doorbell from their room started to ring.
Ye Mu took a step back, her face flushed as she mumbled, “The doorbell is ringing…”
Someone’s here, they couldn’t possibly ignore it.
Mo Shen took a deep breath and flashed a smile at Ye Mu.
Then, he stood up and opened the door.
“Hello, here’s your order of—”
The door opened and the home service staff immediately greeted Mo Shen with a smile. But when his gaze landed on Mo Shen’s ice-cold face. The smile on his face stiffened as he suddenly felt a wave of fear rushing through his heart.
He barely managed to squeeze these words out, “Bitter gourd juice…”
Mo Shen scanned the two glasses of bitter gourd juice on the tray before he coldly spat, “I did not order any bitter gourd juice.”
Afterwards, he closed the door shut, looking extremely unhappy.
