May You Return In Stardom - Chapter 51

He reached out his slender fingers and clasped An Mu’s chin, forcing her to look at him. Then, his eyes sank slightly. “Do you intend to back the An family company?”

An Mu did not deny, but instead clenched her teeth and did not speak.

Her behavior was strange which gave it away to Feng Xiao. Her denial was absolutely unnecessary.

“Speak.” Feng Xiao lightly pinched An Mu as she felt pain on her chin.

“What should I say?” An Mu was frustrated, and her heart filled with bitterness. “The An family has always been mine! I’m just retrieving what belongs to me!”

Feng Xiao’s flirtatious eyes flashed a piercing light.

He suddenly said, “Since I know about your plans, what are you gonna do?”

He looked distressed, but his eyes were very obviously filled with a teasing gaze—as if fooling An Mu was pleasurable for him.

An Mu took a deep breath. “What do you mean?”

Feng Xiao’s fingers caressed An Mu’s chin. Her smooth skin was like the flesh of a lychee—extremely tempting. Feng Xiao’s gaze became deeper and his lips spoke gently, “You’re not family.”

An Mu turned her face away to avoid his tease.

Feng Xiao did not mind. His gaze fixated on his fingers, and he said, “Yet, the head of the Feng family is my eldest brother. Tell me, since I already know of your plans to ruin them, don’t you think I should alert them?”

An Mu’s heart sank as she clenched her teeth with a vicious gaze. “You…!”

“What about me?”

An Mu’s heart was in pain from her rage.

He could have exposed her back then, why did he wait until now?

Yet, he always threatened her with this matter.

An Mu took one deep breath after another. Her pupils darted around as she attempted to force a smile. She leaned onto the man, and spoke lovingly, “Little Uncle, how am I not family?”

Her face was sheepish. “We’re clearly more intimate than them, isn’t it!”

“Oh, how come I never felt that way?” Feng Xiao smiled and glanced at Little Kittie.

An Mu became determined. “No way. Ever since I first met Little Uncle, I was captivated! You’re the only one in my heart!”

“Oh, no wonder my niece-in-law is always so passionate whenever I’m around.”

“You!” An Mu’s face instantly blushed. Nevertheless, looking at Feng Xiao, she immediately nodded obediently like a little kitten who had hidden all its claws.

“So, Little Uncle, you can never tell them.” An Mu sighed. “Little Uncle, I know nothing, and I’m naive. My only interest is acting. As humans, we must at least pursue something, so…”

“You only have two options.” The cold and charming man remained stern. He stared at An Mu with his narrow eyes. “First, you need to go back to school.”

“What’s the second one?”

“I will ban you from showbiz, and then you need to go back to school again.”

“…” An Mu was speechless.

Once honest people were pressured, they would be enraged, what was more a little kitten?

An Mu instantly flashed her claws. Her phoenix eyes had a ray of coldness. “Little Uncle, is there a third option?”

“No.” The man rejected coldly.

An Mu sneered, “Let’s wait and see whether you can overshadow the entire entertainment industry!”

After saying that, she turned around and left.

Her spine was perfectly straight. An Mu neither required the compassion of others nor received threats from anyone!

Feng Xiao stared at the dignified look from her back. The interest in his gaze became increasingly intense.
