An Mu then spoke again, “As an actress, I should always stay in character before the director calls a cut. Shouldn’t that be an actress’s ethic?”
Her voice was calm and casual which improved Director Huang’s impression of An Mu.
Director Huang commented, “Indeed, you… I would like to take back my words. I did wrongly accuse you earlier. Plus, your acting was good.”
An Mu could see the admiration in Director Huang’s eyes.
That was what she wanted.
A slap on the face did not mean anything, while the approval of a famous director would assure her future acting career to be a smooth one!
An Mu just smiled without a word.
Mr. Yang, who was just beside them, instantly looked at Bai Yujie and asked, “You mentioned that there was somebody who called and you had to leave due to an emergency. Then, let me ask you, what was the emergency about?”
Bai Yujie was in shock. She could not have said that she was looking for the investor, right?

Mr. Yang went silent after she said that.
