Chapter 56: Violent attack
It was Xu Zhicheng, the well-known director.
A gloomy middle-aged man with a slim face and beard stubble.
“It seems like the secretary didn’t lie to us. Director Chen was really not in the building,” Xu Zhicheng shifted his gaze from Gu Anbao to Chen Yuheng. He walked over with a fake smile and said, “Director Chen sure is a busy man. I’ve tried to arrange a meeting with you for two weeks and yet you couldn’t even spare me half an hour.”
Chen Yuheng swept his gaze over and said indifferently, “Indeed, I have been busy.”
“Since we have managed to meet, could Director Chen give me some time and we can have a meal together?”
Gu Anbao could feel Xu Zhicheng’s gaze floating toward her from time to time. A little afraid of this man, she unconsciously hid behind Chen Yuheng.
Chen Yuheng ignored Xu Zhicheng, walking around him toward the elevator. “Sorry, I do not have the time,” he answered coldly.
Gu Anbao blindly followed suit, ready to pass by these people.
Xu Zhicheng gave the people beside him a glance. The tall man on his left suddenly reached out and grabbed hold of Gu Anbao! He laughed loudly and said. “Oh!… Director Chen, your robot looks great. Can I borrow it to play?”
The man’s voice was loud and clear, causing a few people on the first-floor lobby to look over. Some of them were white-collar workers, while some were clients working with RK.
Chen Yuheng turned around with a heavy expression. “Let her go.”
However, they turned a deaf ear to his words. Xu Zhicheng walked toward Gu Anbao with a chuckle and said, “Why do I find you so familiar…”
Xu Zhicheng twirled the material of Gu Anbao’s collar between his fingers before he was hit with a sudden realization. “Oh! No wonder I didn’t recognize you. You’ve changed into another set of clothes!”
Revulsed and fearful, Gu Anbao struggled against them but failed to break free.
With a dark expression, Chen Yuheng walked over as he tried to pull Gu Anbao back to him. However, another slightly shorter man intercepted quickly and blocked Chen Yuheng’s way. He said challengingly, “Director Chen, what’s the rush? Why not have a proper meal with us first? We can talk about the issue on the capital withdrawal…”
A few security officers in the lobby began to sense something amiss as they slowly approached them.
Xu Zhicheng didn’t seem to notice their movements. Instead, he moved even closer to Gu Anbao and said in a low voice, “Your clothes weren’t torn off cleanly the last time, how could you change into a new set?…”
With that, the hand that was holding onto her collar tugged harshly!
Seeing that Xu Zhicheng was planning to rip her clothes again, Gu Anbao was startled! With a conditioned reflex, she moved back! However, she was blocked by the tall man. Amidst her panic, she raised her hands and pushed Xu Zhicheng!
Xu Zhicheng fell to the floor!
Gu Anbao was stunned. She… obviously did not use that much strength…
The taller man behind her had already anticipated this. His huge plier-like hands imprisoned Gu Anbao as he grabbed her arms. “Director Chen! The robots in RK do not seem to be very obedient!” He yelled loudly.
That sentence attracted the attention of everyone in the lobby.
Gu Anbao ceased her struggle.
Xu Zhicheng, who had fallen onto the floor, was displeased with her reaction. It seemed as if he had intentionally wanted to provoke her. He lifted her skirt and reached his hand beneath her while not forgetting to talk in an exaggeratedly loud voice, “Why are the robots in RK hitting other people!”
He was tearing her underwear…
It was disgusting…
Gu Anbao was trembling all over. She felt furious, wronged, and unjustified…
But she couldn’t move.
She wasn’t foolish…
The soft thin fabric below her was on the verge of being torn apart. She bit her lips and closed her eyes—
She warned herself repeatedly not to move!
This wasn’t a big deal! This body… could be melted by chemicals, carved by blades and sawed apart by an electric saw! What couldn’t be done to it?! She should just take it as if she was being bitten by a dog!…
Gu Anbao’s reaction was not what Xu Zhicheng had expected.
Why wasn’t she resisting?
The last time, she clearly…
Before he could think any further, acute pain was felt at the back of his head! His entire body was toppled to the floor by a huge force!
The entire area was in an uproar—
Chen Yuheng walked over angrily, the short man that had been blocking him lying on the floor behind him.
Xu Zhicheng had been punched. He was still in a daze and had yet to regain his senses.
The tall, skinny man who was imprisoning Gu Anbao was shocked by Chen Yuheng’s imposing manner. He released Gu Anbao and stumbled back a couple of steps, only to see his eyesight blurring and a loud sound! The bridge of his nose was smashed!
Chen Yuheng’s hatred was indissoluble. He walked over in just a few steps, grabbing the other party by the back of his collar and pulled him up like a dead dog. He dragged him across the floor, the blood from his nose staining a huge portion of the ground.
Xu Zhicheng half-knelt on the floor. He struggled several times before he managed to stand up, swaying a little. All he saw was black once again as he was knocked to the ground by the tall, lanky man’s body!
Chen Yuheng raised his leg and kicked!
Then, he continued to deliver kick after kick! The two people on the ground didn’t have half a chance to fight back…
The heavy sound of each blow intermingled with their weak groans.
No one around dared to approach them…
After a long while, a few security officers looked at each other in dismay and started to surround them, afraid that there would be a fatal casualty. They picked the three men with bruised faces up from the ground.
Chen Yuheng gently patted Xu Zhicheng’s swollen cheek and coldly said, “Out to provoke me? I will make sure you lose all your reputation and standing.”
When he was done, he straightened his back and swept his gaze around his surroundings.
Not a call to the police was made, but several people had been filming with their phones…
Chen Yuheng sneered. Uncaring, he told the security officers, “Throw them out.”
The officers wore a difficult expression…
Was it really okay not to take them to the hospital?
They couldn’t disobey the big boss’s words. At most, they could just throw them out and call the ambulance later…
Chen Yuheng no longer bothered with them. He turned around and walked to Gu Anbao’s side.
Gu Anbao sat on the ground blankly. He felt dreadful by the sight he witnessed.
She was still a happy lady yesterday. And yet she was so scared today…
He carefully gave her the once over. Seeing that her clothes were not damaged, his heart was a little comforted. But when he thought about how Gu Anbao had forced herself not to move earlier, his obscure fury rose again!
“Are you able to stand?” He asked with a hard tone.
With a terribly pale face, Gu Anbao was at a loss for some reason. It was a long while before she raised her head. Looking at Chen Yuheng’s expression, she asked weakly, “Can you… hug me?”
Chen Yuheng was joyful in an instant.
He knelt and asked with great temperament, “What’s wrong?”
Gu Anbao lowered her head and responded softly in an extremely awkward manner.
Chen Yuheng could not hear her. He brought his ear closer to her before he was able to catch Gu Anbao’s soft voice. “My underwear… is about to fall…”
That’s why she couldn’t stand up!
If she did, it would fall…
In actual fact, her underwear had already fallen to between her legs. Thankfully, her skirt was long enough and thus it couldn’t be seen.
Of course, she could secretly stick her hand under her skirt, pulled her underwear out and bundle it up in her palm. This way, she would not have to worry that it would fall to her ankles when she was walking.
But… Now, many people were watching in the lobby…
Gu Anbao looked at Chen Yuheng with eyes full of expectation.

Chen Yuheng stared at the hemline of her skirt for a moment. He reached out and wrapped her skirt well, before stably pulling her up and walking into the elevator in huge strides.
When the elevator doors closed, he exploded in anger at the fact that Ruan Ruan’s underwear had been torn by Xu Zhicheng. But on the other hand, he was overjoyed that Ruan Ruan trusted him. His feelings swayed between the two. This emotional conflict he felt in his heart was indescribable…
