Eddie sat on the ground, clutching his left rib, and looked up in surprise.
The person who had reached out to stop the man in black was actually Nina.

Joel and Marcus looked at the girl in surprise, wondering if she was crazy. They didn’t have much of an impression of Nina because she had come with Eddie and had been sitting in the corner.
Beth quickly pulled Nina back and whispered, “Don’t worry about me, just leave!”
She might have been touched, but she didn’t agree with Nina’s approach. If Nina had not stepped forward and had gone out to the police instead, it might have been of better help.
Now, Nina was also implicated.
Nina gently broke away from Beth’s grip and walked slowly toward the dining table, in the direction of Jonathan and the others.
She paused as she passed Marion and Hiram, glancing at Hiram with disgust in her eyes.
Beth was so nervous her palms were sweating.
Cathy also stared at Nina in disbelief. It was hard to imagine that this country bumpkin could still maintain her composure under such circumstances.
What was Nina doing!?
Jonathan frowned, anger finally crossing his face.
First, there were Joel and Marcus, two insignificant people, who overrated themselves and tried to use Old Henry to intimidate him.
And now, a young girl appeared out of nowhere! She actually used a commanding tone to tell him that she wanted to take these people away from him?
Jonathan was so angry that he laughed instead.
“You said you were going to take these people away? Who do you think you are?” Jonathan squinted at Nina, sizing her up.
Nina looked down at Jonathan and slowly bent her upper body, moving closer to him.
At the same time, a dangerous smile appeared on her lips. “Someone you can’t afford to offend.”
Beth looked incredibly nervous, and so did Cathy. Had Nina gone crazy!?
Joel and Marcus exchanged a strange look.

Beth, Cathy, Joel, Marcus, and the others frowned anxiously.
