“Hey, it’s okay if you didn’t pass the interview. There are plenty of universities in Boston.” Claude felt he should say something to comfort the poor girl.

Nina only glanced sideways at him.

“I’ve already contacted the interviewer at the University of Science and Technology. We’ll go over there now,” added Claude.

“We can cancel that,” said Nina.

Claude was puzzled. “What?”

He continued. “Hey, do you know how I landed this job after I graduated? I was first rejected by three magazine interviews, and one of them even thought that I was too handsome and wouldn’t be able to handle the hardships of this job.”

“Nina, I just wanted to tell you that a single failure doesn’t mean anything. Look at me. I’m already a famous ace reporter in Boston.”

Nina smiled. “Thank you, Claude. I mean, I’ve passed the LG interview, so you can help me cancel the interviews at the other universities.”

Claude stood rooted to the ground.

She… passed?

“Thanks for sending me here, but I’m going to my dorm now.”

Claude dropped Nina off at the dormitory. “What are we going to do with this dog?”

Nina had brought Green Wolf out with her today.

“Leave it to me,” said Nina, whistling to Green Wolf. It settled obediently at Nina’s feet, staring up at the passersby like a loyal guard.

Claude reminded, “There’s a rule at LG University that you can’t keep any warm-blooded animals in your dorm. If you really want a pet, maybe I can get you a lizard or something. But it’s better if I take this dog back.”

Nina shook her head. “I have my ways.”

With that, she carried her backpack and led Green Wolf into the dormitory.

Nina was tall and beautiful, leading a ferocious wolfdog that did not match her appearance. This pair attracted a lot of attention the moment they got out of the car.

When she walked into the dormitory, many students stopped in their tracks and looked at her in shock.

After all, they had never heard of dogs being allowed in the dormitory.

Nina stopped in front of the guardhouse in the first-floor lobby. She knocked gently, and the housekeeping aunt, who was knitting inside, opened the small window.

She studied Nina for a moment, then shifted her gaze to Green Wolf.

The woman’s expression visibly changed. She asked hesitantly, “Nina Jowett?”

“Yes.”

The middle-aged woman nodded. “Let it in. Is it alright for me to tie it up? After all, many students are entering and exiting. I’m worried that something might happen. Oh, it looks quite fierce. It doesn’t bite, right?”

Nina led Green Wolf into the room and gave the middle-aged woman instructions on how to feed it.

“I’ll visit it every day. I won’t need you to take care of it for too long.”

Green Wolf obediently watched as Nina left while the middle-aged woman huddled on the side in fear.

There was nothing she could do about it. The university trustee had personally called and arranged for her to help look after Nina Jowett’s dog.

After temporarily placing Green Wolf in the guardhouse, Nina went into the dormitory.

The dorms at LG University were divided into individual rooms and double rooms. Nina initially wanted a single room, but they were already occupied. For now, she would have to settle for a double room.

Nina gently knocked when she reached her dorm on the second floor. Although no one answered, there was loud music in the room.

When she pushed open the door, the music in the dorm was so loud that it sounded like thunder in her ears.

There was a short entryway upon walking through the door. On the right side was a simple semi-circular wooden bar counter. It looked like it could be used to make some simple dishes.

There were two white single beds further inside. Beside each bed was a study table of the same color.

The bed and table next to the bathroom were empty.

Meanwhile, the bed and table by the window were filled with junk. It was obvious that someone was occupying them.

The loud music came from a small stereo on the table.

There was a small door on the right side of the room. It was the bathroom.

Nina put her things down and headed for the bathroom.

The door to the bathroom was not closed, and when she reached it, she was stunned.

A woman moaned in pain and pleasure. “Oh! Eddie, you’ve filled me up!”
