“Right…” The lift’s door was closing when Qiao Qing was replying. Xiao Han had left. Leng Ruobing on the other end of the phone was solemn, “No wonder Zhu Min was stammering about the wedding having a problem when I called her earlier. Qiao Qing, you go in and have a look at Qianyu first. I’ll be right back.”
“Okay. Goodbye, Aunt Leng.”
Qiao Qing ran home speedily after she hung up the phone. She saw Si Hui and Lei Lie arguing. She was taken aback but she didn’t have the time to care about them. She went into the room to see Lan Qianyu first. But the room door was tightly shut and even Shen Xin was kept out too.
“What’s going on?” Qiao Qing asked concernedly.
“Qianyu’s emotions are very unstable. We have no idea what happened.” Shen Xin said with furrowed eyebrows.
Qiao Qing went to open the door but it was locked from inside. She knocked on the door urgently, “What’s the matter with you, Qianyu? What happened? Open the door first and let us in…”
“Stop it, all of you.” Si Hui ordered coldly.
“Who are you?” Qiao Qing looked at her with hostility.
“Xiao Han’s bodyguard. She was so arrogant and even attempted to chase me away.” Lei Lie stared at Si Hui coldly.
Qiao Qing was annoyed when she heard that. She said impolitely, “This is my home. Who gave you the rights to issue commands here? You are the one who ought to leave.”
Si Hui didn’t mind and said seriously, “Something happened to Ms. Lan. She needs peace and quiet now. You guys making a din here will make her emotions break down even worse.”
“What happened?” The three of them said in unison.
Si Hui’s gaze flickered a little and said quietly, “It’s not convenient for me to say too much. You guys will know later when the time is right. Anyway, leave her alone now and let her calm down.”
Si Hui went out and stood guard at the door after saying that.
Lei Lie, Shen Xin and Qiao Qing looked at each other with solemn expressions. They had the same guess in their hearts. Lan Qianyu didn’t come back in the clothes that she wore yesterday and her mental state was on the brink of collapse. What else could make a girl break down beside that kind of stuff?
The three of them were unsettled and terrified when they thought of that. They all remained silent, not daring to say anything more.

Lan Qianyu huddled under the quilt. It was usually very comfortable to cover herself under the thin quilt when the temperature was above 10 degree Celsius. But now, she felt very cold, very, very cold. There was a coldness that was chilling to the bones, in the air and it was seeping into her bones. She was so cold that she shook like a leaf and her face was as pale as a ghost.
She closed her eyes tightly in the dark, but the scene where Ye Yan was crushing her body and riding her unrestrainedly, kept repeating in her mind. She opened her eyes wide, and she saw his frivolous smirk. The sounds of his pants, the sounds of Xiao Qi’s footsteps and Xiao Han’s apologies kept reverberating in her ears.
The three men’s voices and gazes were repeating themselves again and again in her brain, like a bloodthirsty ghost that was gnawing on Lan Qianyu’s heart brutally. Fear occupied her eyes and she grasped the quilt tightly with both her hands. She was about to collapse.

Leng Ruobing rushed over in a hurry. She was stunned when she saw Si Hui and then quickly asked, “You’re Xiao Han’s bodyguard?”
“Yes!” Si Hui answered politely.
Leng Ruobing didn’t answer and strode into the house. Lei Lie, Qiao Qing and Shen Xin were all sitting on the sofa dazed and with a solemn expression. The three of them immediately stood up and greeted Leng Ruobing when they saw her come in, “Aunt Leng!”
“Where’s Qianyu?” Leng Ruobing asked.
“She’s in her room.” Shen Xin answered softly, “Her emotions are not very stable. We dare not agitate her.”
“What happened?” Leng Ruobing’s eyebrows furrowed together.
The three of them shook their heads and lowered them.
Leng Ruobing turned and stared at Si Hui, “What actually happened?”
Si Hui lowered her head without a word.
