Lan Qianyu’s painful moans could be heard from the room. The moans were explicitly suggestive and every one of them hurt Xiao Qi’s heart like a knife.
Xiao Qi shut his eyes tightly and refused to continue hearing them. His phone rang again when his mind was in a mess. He took out his phone and looked at the Caller ID. His expression changed instantly and he hurried to a side to pick it up.
“Long time no see, Xiao Qi!” Xiao Han’s voice was as cold as frost, and it had a hint of danger.
“What do you want exactly, Xiao Han?” Xiao Qi roared agitatedly. He had just received his mother, Zhu Min’s call. She told him that Xiao Han went back home and forced his father, Xiao Jinpeng, to transfer the Xiao Corporation to him. Zhu Min was objecting violently and the entire family was currently in a face off. Xiao Jinpeng was waiting for Xiao Qi’s news now. As long as Ye Yan agreed to inject funds, Xiao Qi would be able to keep his territory in the form of Xiao Family.
However, in order to win this battle, he had to sacrifice Lan Qianyu!
“Ah! You’re asking the obvious.” Xiao Han sneered sarcastically, “All that you have now belongs to me. Now… I am taking them back piece by piece.”
“You’re delusional!” Xiao Qi roared angrily, “Xiao Corporation is mine, Qianyu is mine too. I’m not letting you snatch them away from me.”

Xiao Qi strode in front of Zhao Jun and asked solemnly, “Do you mean what you said? Did Ye Yan really say he will inject funds for me if he gets to spend a night with Qianyu?”

Lan Qianyu slumped and sat on the floor. She sat there in a daze and stared at the room door. She absolutely couldn’t believe her ears. Xiao Qi left, really left. He didn’t come to save her. He had sacrificed her for his family’s interests, even personally pushed her onto another man’s bed.
This was her fiance. A man she had relied on for three years. A man who she was going to spend her whole life with?
It was too horrible.
“You lost!” Ye Yan squatted next to Lan Qianyu. His long fingers lifted her chin and smiled in a cold and arrogant manner. “You have lost yourself to me!”
Lan Qianyu lifted her gaze and looked at him. She asked numbly,” Ye Yan, what is your motive exactly?”
He deliberately pinched her and bullied her so Xiao Qi could hear her screams out there. He whispered into her ears while she was struggling, saying that he wanted to have a wager with her. She agreed without any hesitation because she firmly believed that Xiao Qi would definitely rescue her. But now, she had lost thoroughly.
She felt infinite fear in her heart when she saw the smile of triumph on his face. Fear. Her life would be controlled from this point onward, and no longer belonged to her.
As if everything he did was to crush her faith. Let her lose all hopes for love and life. He was smiling so brightly when he saw her despondent look as though it was a pleasure that he enjoyed the most.
