CHAPTER 1
Everything is spinning.
“Goodness, Lady Diane! Did you do something new to your hair?”
“Yes, I am the Duchess after all.”

It wasn’t a lie. Everything is really spinning..
“Oh my, Lady Nadia. You look pale. Are you alright?”
“Ah… I don’t- urkh!”
“Lady Nadia!”
Stay away from me… Ah, I told you to stay away!
I felt cold sweat run down my back as Lady Nepelli looked at me. But it wasn’t because she’s scary.
It was because I saw dandruff in her hair.
“You collapsed not too long ago and might be really distressed. I don’t think you’re feeling well enough yet.”
“Your body is still weak. But you’re telling us to stay away…”
Is the look on my face that obvious?
Even the other ladies got up from their seats with serious looks on their faces. This cannot be.
I waved them away desperately.
“No, I’m really alright!”
“What do you mean you’re okay? You’re sweating!”
I bit my lips after hearing Lady Nepelli’s remark.
“It’s because you people are coming close to me… urkh!”
As the ladies surrounded me, my hands shook as I instantly grabbed Lady Nepelli by her collar. It was the last step that could prevent things from boiling over.
But it was also just a temporary measure.
The horrible mixture of body odor and perfume finally blew my mind away.
“A doctor! Somebody call a doctor!”
Damn… The ladies who were panicking, slowly started to look really blurry.
I once again had a serious reflection as my consciousness slowly drifted away.
“I shouldn’t have written that comment back then.”
If I hadn’t written that kind of comment.
“Nadia, my baby!”
I would’ve never experienced this terrible romance fantasy novel myself!

It was in my previous job not too long ago. As a salary thief(*1), I was checking out a website for novels without my team leader’s knowledge, as usual.
I wasn’t reading a novel, but I was looking for one to buy for this month and I was checking the reviews.
It happened then.
As I was scrolling down to see if there’s anything good, I noticed a really honest review.
[… I’m not saying this novel is boring. I just wanted to see something realistic. Even though it’s a ‘Fantasy genre, you should have still researched historical evidence…
People from the Modern world might have a hard time there, because it was dirty. Should I say that magic showers aren’t a thing? Anyway, the book is really interesting.
The FL and ML are really sweet and it’s a good read during Summer.]
Now that I think about it. That really is the case.
I usually enjoy reading RoFan novels, and there were only a few which I hadn’t read but, all those girls who possessed a female lead in a novel were so good at adapting to the setting of the character.
No matter how clean the place in the novel is, it would be very inconvenient for modern people to live there.
“The novel permits it? Well, I guess so.”
Whatever the case, it is a fantasy novel.
However, I somehow agree with the review as I have a weak stomach and I even feel nauseous when I need to go use a squat toilet.
So I clicked on the review and replied without much thought.
[bath_lover_11: lololol you’re right. There are times when it’s uncomfortable going to our Grandmother’s house, but we keep up with the times hahaha it would be refreshing to see a novel like that. It would be a pain if I possessed someone who would always smell stuff like that hahaha]
Why did I do that? Just why did I do that in my past life?
If it wasn’t for that, the team leader, who noticed that I was doing something else, wouldn’t have yelled. Manager Seo wouldn’t have spilled hot coffee because she was surprised by the yell.
“Ack! Manager!”
If the employee who was determined to avoid the hot coffee didn’t bump into me, I wouldn’t have lost consciousness by hitting my head on the radiator.
And I wouldn’t have fallen into such a strange place after losing consciousness.
The memory of the first time I opened my eyes was still vivid.
“M-my word! Duke! Master! Lady Nadia… She opened her eyes! She’s come back to her senses!”
“What? My daughter opened her eyes?!”
“Oh, thank goodness! Huk, my daughter has come back! Let me- let me look at your face, my baby!”
It was a mess. Good looking people cried and hugged me.
This situation, which was commonly how RoFan novels start, felt strange as I was in someone’s arms, embracing me.
“N…”
“N?”
“Nasty…”
My nose was tingling because it smelled so bad.
I thought it was a hallucination at first, or a dream since I was unconscious. But no, how could this happen if this was a hallucination or a dream?
“I’m not the female lead of this novel!”
However, reality always betrays your expectations. Nothing changed even if I slapped myself, cried all night, prayed at the temple, and everything else I could come up with, thinking everything was just a dream.
As the feeling of being lost ended, I had no choice but to admit that I eventually possessed someone in a novel or something similar to one. However, there is a bigger problem than possessing someone.
“Why is there so much feather on top of the pie…?”
“Isn’t the decoration pretty? It’s my daughter’s favorite food, so we made sure to pay special attention to it.”
“A bath…”
“I prepared a cloth to wipe your body with, miss! You’re not saying that you want to soak yourself in hot water now, are you? Didn’t you hear that the doctor said it was the cause of your collapsing?”
I think this place really reflects the comments I wrote.
I also specifically wrote about hygiene conditions saying that ‘I got transported into a novel, but everything smells.’
Everything else is a perfect fantasy.
“You’ve finally got some rest, Nadia… I would have been happy if your older sister was here. Unfortunately, while you were praying at the temple, she accompanied his Highness’ inspection. Arwen(*2) is the commander of the knights so there’s nothing we can do.”
“Right, we don’t have Lupin(*3) either. It seems that the magic about souls he was studying the other day has paid off. Seems like he can’t just leave as the top magician.”
An older sister who will take over the title a few more years after serving as the head of the knights, and a younger brother who is the top magician. A family who supports everything and has a good relationship with each other!
‘This seems like a perfect romance fantasy novel that has a negative view on hygiene.’
I raised my hands in exasperation from the reality I saw just from spending the day. I can be determined if I want to.
I’ll live as the heroine of this novel.
“Why the power of love may have defeated the ego of people from the modern time.”
Honestly, how did modern people give up early morning delivery, smartphones, and Iced Americanos? It’s all because of the power of love.
“How are you feeling today? Is it alright if I check for a moment?”
Asked the young, handsome doctor with facial features which seemed like they were perfectly sculpted.
“Is it true… that your memories aren’t intact? You don’t remember me?”
A young marquis came to me, telling me that he’s my best friend.
“You said you were sick. Your face got really small. Shouldn’t you rest more?”
The first and last part of a romance novel, the alpha and omega, and also the Prince.
Out of all the men that I met in this novel, he’s the first one to look so distinguished. In other words, he’s jaw-droppingly handsome.
So I thought I could overcome this barren reality with love. Like the usual supporting actress who will have a happy ending someday.
Right, as if that could happen.
“Nadia.”
“Ah, please give me a moment.”
“Is there something wrong…? You suddenly look,”
“Get away from me for a bit… ugh!”
Men who approached me with honey-dripping eyes had an unbearable smell from their mouth and body.
“Ah. I thought love would be easy. Hnghh.”
And just like that, I became a lady who was so weak that even love was too much.
