Joy applied some powder on Chi Wan’s face which made her pale face look even more haggard and cold. “Use your skills.”
Chi Wan’s lips curled. She sat on a chair on the elevated platform and looked at the sea of dark heads. A hint of self-deprecation surfaced at the corners of her lips.
It was the first time she enjoyed the attention of so many people.

Chi Wan kept her head up high and smiled proudly like a haughty queen. She emanated a piercing charisma, yet there was a certain hint of sadness in her eyes.
