A white mist covered a vast and expansive field. A red sun was hidden by the mist. Suddenly, the white mist parted like a screen. The golden rays of sunshine flooded the whole place with a brilliant golden glow.
This was what Rong Kaixuan was seeing inside his head.
The round ball had shattered. Incredibly enough, it had gathered itself together again and was now even more mysterious and powerful than before.
The Spirit Power of Heaven and Earth that was absorbed from his surroundings floated in between his eyebrows like a thick fog. The little round ball had become like a blazing sun, sending golden rays of sunshine throughout the entire area between his brows.
On top of that, the mysterious energy within the ball of sunshine had gone through a tremendous change as well.
The mysterious energy had turned into a sticky golden liquid and flowed slowly inside of the little round ball.
Rong Kaixuan sent his Divine Sense to go around the little ball a few times. He sensed that the total amount of energy within the round ball had not changed much, but the ball itself was now a little different. It seemed to be able to do even more than before.
He knew by just checking the Spirit Power that the little round ball continuously processed it.
After the Spirit Power had been processed by the round ball, it carried a little of that mysterious energy. Rong Kaixuan even suspected that even if he didn’t use the mysterious energy in the round ball and just used the Spirit Power that was converted from the Spirit Power of Heaven and Earth, he might also be able to evoke a Spirit Body Fighter.
Of course, that was only a thought he had. Whether it was true or not required him to do some proper testing.
“Young Master Kaixuan, what’s wrong?”
An elderly and anxious voice sounded in his ears and snapped him out of his daze.
Rong Kaixuan was a little alarmed. He turned to see Rong Cai worriedly staring at him.
Rong Kaixuan smiled faintly and said, “Grandpa Cai, don’t worry. I was just thinking about some matters earlier and got lost in my thoughts.”
Rong Cai breathed a sigh of relief and quietly said, “Master left you and Young Master Kaihua in my hands, but I was inadequate and failed to protect both of you from harm. I have really let Master down.”
Rong Kaixuan’s face reddened slightly. He hung his head. “Grandpa Cai, this is all my fault.”
Rong Cai shook his head and stretched a hand out to pat his shoulder. “Young people all have an urge to go out and explore the world for themselves. I understand this very well, so I don’t blame you.”
Rong Kaixuan took a deep breath and said, “Grandpa Cai, I’m going to look for Manager Ye Jianhao at Donghua Treasure Hall and ask him to sell me a Face Restoration Pill.”
Rong Cai thought about it for a while and said, “Young Master Kaixuan, you must thank him well.” He paused for a moment and added, “By the time we got back to this house, Manager Ye Jianhao had already sent someone to wait for us here.” He let out a sigh and said, “If he hadn’t lent a helping hand in time, you might have still survived, but Young Master Kaihua would definitely have…”
Rong Kaixuan nodded gravely and said, “I understand. I will never forget this favor he has done for us.”
These words were from the bottom of his heart. If Rong Kaihua had perished because of the incident, Rong Kaixuan would have felt guilty for the rest of his life.
Rong Cai smiled faintly and said, “Not bad, not bad at all. Run along then.”
Rong Kaixuan nodded and turned to leave.
Rong Cai was puzzled and said, “Young Master Kaixuan, you’re walking in the wrong direction.”
Rong Kaixuan turned his head and smiled, “Grandpa Cai, I have to prepare a present when I go this time, right?” He walked back to the room he had awoken in earlier and closed the door behind him.
Rong Cai frowned in confusion. What sort of present could this boy come up with in such a short time?
Everything in the room was exactly the way he had left it. All his things were placed neatly by the bedside. Even the box of a hundred talismans was sitting there.
Rong Kaixuan opened the box without hesitation. He focused his consciousness and released some Spirit Power.
This time, he didn’t take any of the mysterious energy in the little round ball. He relied only on the Spirit Power that was floating around in between his eyebrows.
A flash of light instantly appeared in front of him. Next, a tremendous amount of Spirit Power of Heaven and Earth surged crazily toward the flash of light. It only took a moment for a human-shaped Spirit Body to successfully form.
Rong Kaixuan’s eyes lit up a little. A relieved smile finally appeared on his face.
His conjecture was right. After the little round ball had gone through a change, it seemed to be even more powerful than before. The Spirit Power that had been processed by the round ball carried some of the mysterious energy from it, so it was able to attract even more Spirit Power of Heaven and Earth than before.
Of course, it was still far off from what the mysterious energy within the little round ball itself could do.
He had to use up 80% to 90% of this improved Spirit Power to form one Spirit Body. The mysterious energy was able to do the same thing with just one-third of its total energy.
He took one blank talisman out, waved his hand, and cast a sealing spell.
The Spirit Body swayed a little in the air before suddenly flying into the talisman.
Rong Kaixuan inspected the talisman and was happy to see that this talisman was still at Level 1 Supreme Grade.
His mood was much better than before. He was now able to finally start using the mysterious energy within the round ball.
To him, creating Spirit Body Fighter Sealing Talismans was something that he was now very familiar with. After merely seven minutes or so, he had created three Spirit Body Fighter Sealing Talismans.
Rong Kaixuan revealed a relaxed smile. After the mysterious energy had turned into the golden sticky liquid, nothing else had changed. He was still able to use one-third of its total energy to evoke a powerful Spirit Body Fighter.
He put the talismans away. Just when he was about to leave the room, his expression suddenly changed.
He quickly sent his Divine Sense back into the little round ball. A pleasantly surprised look slowly spread across his face.
He sensed that the mysterious energy in between his eyebrows was recovering at an extremely high speed. It was way faster than it had ever been able to do before.
The mysterious energy within that little round ball was incredibly powerful. Yet, it had one fatal flaw that Rong Kaixuan couldn’t do anything about, which was the fact that it restored itself at a snail pace.
When an ordinary Spiritualist consumed all of his Spirit Power, he would absorb the Spirit Power of Heaven and Earth to replace the lost Spirit Power. If he finished up all the mysterious energy inside the little round ball, he had to wait a very long time for it to reach its maximum energy level again.
This had been a process that made him very anxious.
Things were different now.
His Divine Sense had sensed that the round ball was taking in and putting out all the Spirit Power of Heaven and Earth that was converted to Spirit Power. Once this Spirit Power went into the round ball, it would go through some sort of process that made it sticky and viscous. Eventually, this Spirit Power would be processed to a point where it became the mysterious energy of the golden round ball itself.
In just a few moments, the 20% of Spirit Power that was left outside the round ball had been completely swallowed up by the round ball. There was nothing left. At the same time, the inside of the round ball had an additional layer of gold and sticky mysterious super energy.
Rong Kaixuan slowly sat down and forced himself to calm down. After that, he started to go into meditation mode to absorb the Spirit Power of Heaven and Earth around him.
Countless sparkles instantly gathered around him, and a massive amount of energy rushed into his body.
Rong Cai and the others felt this change in the energy outside the room, but they weren’t alarmed or surprised by it.
Rong Kaixuan had been unconscious for five full days, so it was only natural for him to cultivate and check his own body’s condition properly after regaining consciousness.
Perhaps it was because of the mysterious energy, but the speed at which Rong Kaixuan absorbed Spirit Power of Heaven and Earth was even faster than before. In just 15 minutes, the empty space between his brows was full of Spirit Power once again.
But the round ball in the middle was like a black hole that continued to suck in Spirit Power. It continued to pull Spirit Power into itself to convert it into that golden sticky fluid.
This process kept going on and on. After two hours, the golden sticky liquid within the round ball had gone back to its peak condition. At the same time, even the Spirit Power between his eyebrows was fully charged as well.
Rong Kaixuan’s heart was filled with joy as he continued to sense the round ball that kept processing the Spirit Power inside of him.
Two hours. He only needed two hours for the mysterious energy in the round ball to replenish itself. From now on, the biggest weakness he had in his body wasn’t a weakness anymore.
Perhaps it was because he had cultivated Spirit Power, but he was now even more energetic and full of life. He didn’t look the slightest bit tired at all.
Five days without food and drink hadn’t affected him negatively. This strange change in him was very likely connected to the change in that little round ball.
He exhaled deeply, put his Divine Sense away, and walked out of the courtyard with large strides.
In no time, he reached the tiny shop in one corner of Donghua Treasure Hall.
When he saw the quiet shop, which looked so tiny compared to all the shops around it, he felt a warmth well up in his heart for some reason.
He walked right in.
There were still three shop assistants in the shop. Out of these three men, he only recognized one of them.
“Oh my! Mister Rong is here.” The shop assistant he recognized immediately broke into a smile and warmly welcomed him.
Rong Kaixuan nodded and smiled back. “I would like to see Manager Ye Jianhao. Please let him know that I’m here.”
“Sure, sure. Sit here for a while, I’ll tell him right now.” The shop assistant turned and ran quickly to the back.
His movements were agile and light, and he ran at a very high speed.
Rong Kaixuan secretly evaluated the man for a moment. This man was at least an Advanced Stage Martial Artist.
An Advanced Stage Martial Artist was only qualified to do miscellaneous work at the front of a shop. Perhaps only a place like Donghua Treasure Hall had the sort of resources to do something like this.
After a few moments, a bright laugh rang out from inside the shop. “Mister Rong, we meet again.” Ye Jianhao walked out. There was a friendly smile on his face.
Rong Kaixuan’s eyes lit up. He immediately went up to Ye Jianhao and fell to his knees dramatically as he kowtowed solemnly. “I am very grateful to Manager Ye.”
Ye Jianhao was shocked and quickly stretched his arms out to grip Rong Kaixuan’s shoulders. “Mister Rong, don’t be so formal with me. Get up, get up.”
He moved the True Qi within his body and tried to use it to carry Rong Kaixuan up from the floor.
While Rong Kaixuan’s body started to sway, he continued to insist on kneeling there. His knees refused to get off the floor.
After remaining in this position for a while, Ye Jianhao finally gave up. He senses how determined the young man was. If he didn’t accept Rong Kaixuan’s gratitude, this young boy wasn’t going to give up. So, he shook his head and accepted his thanks with an awkward smile.
Rong Kaixuan politely completed all three kowtows and said, “I will never forget the favor you have done by saving my Eldest Brother’s life.”
