I Raised A Black Dragon - Chapter 134

Apparently, Kyle was only planning to drop Noah and Muell in front of the mansion and return, but Noah shot him a death glare and insisted that she wouldn’t get off unless he showed him his wound. To make matters worse, a really unhelpful young dragon sided with his master and eventually, Kyle got off the car himself and was dragged into the house.

Eventually, he forced Noah into the bathroom, telling her she had to wash up and change her clothes again.

“If you leave while I’m inside, I am going to be so mad!”

It was what Noah had threatened. Thus, he was currently waiting for her in her bedroom. Muell, who was lying on the pillow, yawned and muttered. “If you had told her in advance, Noah wouldn’t be so mad.”

“Be quiet, Mu.”

“Actually, it smelled like blood. It’s strange that Noah didn’t know. No wonder she’s so worried.”

The young dragon had recently been in and out of the Imperial Palace and the Bureau of Investigation and Security, and had become more talkative. Now, the kid was also poking on Kyle’s nerves.

“I haven’t even looked at my side for days,” Kyle replied coldly. In fact, he was beginning to feel offended by Noah’s strangeness that had continued for the past few days.

On the first day of her return to this mansion, she couldn’t sleep alone, so Kyle stood by her side until she fell asleep, and out of nowhere, she was avoiding him the next day.

She was a cheeky dog with no cuteness and wagged her tail at him only when she needed it. It was absurd to fall for such a ridiculous charm. Besides, wasn’t it the fault of the one who makes people confused in the first place?

Perhaps noticing his displeasure, Muell tilted his head. “When Noah really hates something, she confronts it.”

Considering Noah’s unusual personality, it was quite convincing. While Kyle was silent for a moment, Muell made his own conclusion.

“That’s why Noah is avoiding you.”

“…Nonsense.” Kyle said so, but his displeasure subsided a little. The dragon, who could not tell a lie and had no reason to do so, added with a smile. “I’m serious. That’s why you don’t get slapped when you touch Noah.”

“What on earth does that mean?”

“If she doesn’t like you, you’ll get slapped.”

“….?” Kyle wouldn’t have known that the little boy was strangely applying the only knowledge he had learned from Adrian.

“What are you two talking about?”

As Kyle frowned at Muell, the bathroom door burst open. Noah stepped out carelessly, shaking off her damp hair. Seeing her foot stagger at the end of the rug Kyle had laid back a while ago, it was clear that she tripped and fell out of the bathroom again earlier in the morning.

“Oh, really. This rug. I’m gonna put it away or something…” Noah grumbled, kicked the rug in annoyance.

Did you think Noah would never do anything cute? Kyle laughed and decided to correct the idea. At times like this, she was very cute.

Noah muttered something and soon approached him. “Are you really not going to show me?”

She looked at him with her eyes narrowed. As she was repeatedly clenching her fists in both hands, she seemed to want to take off his clothes right away.

“I’ll only take a peek at it. You don’t have to take your shirt off.”

“You’d be in big trouble if somebody hears the way you talk.”

“Nobody is listening.”

“I have no internal injuries and I’ve been treated properly as soon as I got back to Tezeba. This isn’t even the first time I got wounded.”

“I know. It’s not a big deal, so I’ll just check it once and we’re done. You always check my neck.”

Noah’s hand crept to the button of his shirt again. Kyle muttered embarrassedly, barely holding her arm back. “Why are you so stupid and reckless…”

“What are you talking about?”

“…Nothing. Let me do it.” He eventually had to unclasp a couple of buttons on the bottom of his shirt and reveal his waist, which was cleanly wrapped with gauze and bandages. Of course, as soon as Noah saw the bandage, he immediately buttoned his shirt.

Noah asked suspiciously, “Are you sure you’re all better?”

“Everything is better… I’m not hurt. I don’t feel any pain.”

Noah frowned and shook her head. Then, she spoke as if demanding.

“Don’t get hurt.”

“Yes… Yes?”

“Don’t get hurt. I’m worried. I’m upset.”

“Ah… Yes.”

It sounded idiotic to repeat the same words, but Noah seemed so serious that Kyle had no choice but to answer sternly. He answered Noah’s requests a few more times, which seemed more like she was giving orders than asking, and spoke after she had finished.

“Promise me you won’t do anything stupid.”

“What kind of stupidity… Oh, when I said I was going to seduce Adrian? I won’t do it.” Noah, who answered dryly, still had her gaze fixed on Kyle’s waist.

Kyle felt strange when he saw her frowning as if it was her who had torn his waist. He really couldn’t get a hold of this woman.

“Don’t even get mad at me,” he murmured.

“I’m not angry. I’ve never been angry. It’s just that I’ve been feeling a little restless lately.”

“What for?”

Rather than replying, Noah kept her mouth shut.
