She glanced at the script’s contract next to his hand. She forced herself to resist the urge to retrace her steps. She took a few deep breaths then she continued to walk toward Yan Chengchi.
The closer she got to him, the more intimidated she was by his intense aura. Maybe the surroundings were too quiet, she seemed to be able to hear her heart beating.
Dub, dub, dub… As if it was going to pop out of her chest at any moment!
She finally made her way to Yan Chengchi. However, she only managed to stand in front of him like a child who made a mistake while hanging her head in shame and clenching her fists tight nervously.
There was so much she wanted to say. However, just like the female lead in the TV show, she did not know how to start the conversation.
“Take her to change her clothes,” A man’s grave and sexy voice ordered.

Xia Changyue raised her head abruptly. She looked at the strange yet familiar face in front of her.
She did not get to look at Yan Chengchi for long. The Special Assistant already stepped in front of her at the next second. He bowed slightly and said, “Please follow me to the changing room, Miss Xia.”

Xia Changyue was taken away before she could even voice her opinion.
There were already dressers waiting for her in the changing room.
They dragged her into the changing room immediately upon seeing her. They thrust a set of clothes into her arms.
“Miss Xia, Time is finite. Please hurry.”
Was it necessary to change her clothes just for dinner?
There was absolutely no need to change if they were in a hurry. Xia Changyue felt like there was nothing wrong with the clothes she was wearing. They were neat and clean, perfectly presentable.

“I am not wearing this!” Xia Changyue threw the set of clothes back at them without a moment of hesitation. She then turned and prepared to leave.
She heard the female dresser’s firm voice when she reached the changing room’s threshold.
“Miss Xia, these are Young Master Chi’s instructions. We are just following his orders.”

In the entire G City, nobody except Yan Chengchi would dare to self proclaim himself as Young Master Chi.
Xia Changyue’s heart skipped a beat. She turned her head and looked at the clothes she threw onto the table defeatedly. She bit her lips in hesitation.
Yan Chengchi still had her contract in his hands. She could not afford to offend him yet.
Xia Changyue walked back very slowly. She stared at the French maid costume, especially at the headband with a bow. She grabbed them into her arms abruptly and stepped into the cubicle.
When she finally made her way back into the restaurant, the waiters who were there earlier were gone.
There were only her and Yan Chengchi sitting at the dining table in the vast space.
He leaned against the chair as he laid his head on his hand while his other hand gently swirled a glass of red wine.
The dark red liquid reflected the light into mesmerizing rays that made his perfect face seem even more seductive.
He gazed coldly at the night sky outside of the window. Nobody could guess what was on his mind.
Xia Changyue grasped her skirt nervously. Her body felt a little stiff.
The French maid costume fitted her perfectly as if it was made-to-measure for her especially. The white apron tied around her waist emphasized its tininess and made it look very enticing.
The bow on the headband was already cute enough, but the designer had deliberately added another pink bow on her bosom.
All these made her look like a present that was ready to be opened.
