A red carpet was rolled out all the way to the stage. The director and everyone working on the set had been waiting for Yan Chengchi’s arrival for a long time.

Xia Changyue was standing at the side of the stage when Yan Chengchi stepped out of his limousine. She was shocked to see him.

The female reporter held the microphone up high and looked at the man who was even more attractive than any male A-listers. She almost forgot what she was asking.

He began to smile seductively.
“I am merely the investor of this drama series. As for what awards we are attempting to win, you have got to ask the scriptwriter of this series. She is the best person to explain the allure of this drama series.”
He threw the question to Xia Changyue as soon as he spoke.
Xia Changyue was not on the list of the prearranged speakers. At this star-studded event, everyone was more prominent than her. She was never meant to say anything.
However, all the attention from the reporters focused on her after what Yan Chengchi said.
