Grace then took a hot bath under Sally’s care and finished grooming perfectly. Sally, who had been informed by Grace that she was going to have dinner with Arthur tonight, worked more enthusiastically to dress up Grace.

“Where does Leon live?”
“Prince Leon? The Prince is using the innermost bedroom on the second floor of the annex? But why do you ask that?”

Grace, with Sally’s help, finally entered the annex after climbing the icy, slippery stairs. When a maid saw them, she hurried up to them and bent down.
“Oh my, aren’t you the duchess? What brings you to the detached house?”
“I’m here to see Leon. Is he in the bedroom now?”
“Oh, no. Prince Leon is over there in his study.”

Grace thanked her and walked in the direction she pointed. Then they saw there was a door twice as big as the other rooms on the same floor. Grace pointed at the door and asked Sally.
“Is this his study, Sally?”
“Yes, it is.”
When Sally nodded back, Grace swallowed her dry saliva nervously. When she arrived at Leon’s place, she was nervous about what to do when she saw him. Grace calmed her pounding heart with a light sigh and opened the door.

Then, Leon, who was sitting behind a small desk reading a book, covered with bookshelves except for the wall with the large window, looked up at her.
At that moment, Leon and Grace’s eyes met in the air. When Grace found him, she smiled awkwardly at Leon pouting his lips and walked closer to her.
“……Leon, are you busy?”
Leon silently nodded up and down. Grace crouched down in front of Leon and continued.
“……I’m sorry, Leon. I came here when you are busy.”
Then Leon shook his head this time. Grace, holding back her laughter, said after clearing her throat.
“I heard you came to visit me two days ago.”
“I’m so, so sorry I couldn’t take a walk with you that day, Leon. I actually had a reason to do that.”

“Sure. Even if Leon grows taller than me over time, he will always look as cute and lovely to me as he is now.”
Grace smiled a little as she imagined it. Then Leon’s mouth drooped down when he heard that. Leon said to Grace, who was smiling at him, putting strength into his arms that hugged Grace.
“Will you stay with me until…?”

“Will you stay with me until I grow up to be like my brother?”

Then an old man with a bent back opened the door and said standing in front of the door.
“Welcome.”
“Have they all arrived?”
“Yes, they are waiting in the drawing room.”
“Guide me.”
When the man ordered coldly, the old man bowed and slowly turned to the house.
Following him, the man briefly talked. It was deep in the woods and didn’t get much sunlight during the day.
Nevertheless, even if the faint moonlight occasionally arrived into the mansion, with layers of curtains drawn down to enter the house, and the stinky odors of old books stuck in a bookcase, and dust piled so thick that it was hard to breathe in.
The man, who was not displeased with any of this in this house, frowned upon the old man walking before him.

Soon after, the old man stopped at the door of the house’s drawing room and opened the door after confirming that the man was standing next to him. The man glanced at the old man and entered the drawing room.
