I Am The Commander Of The Second Male Lead’s Knights - Chapter 36

Chapter 36

TL-Mechatronic

It didn’t take much time to knock down more than a hundred people, but it took a considerable amount of time if you checked the time in the clock.

As time went by, the remaining people’s faces were white, and Jean felt sorry for them.

The other members of the Dark Knights were also seen sweating cold. Since they knew Nina from the past they could feel how strong she became.

“Yeah, they are all wondering how something like her could exist.’

Great strength, exquisite skill, light body, and being so fast like she’s flying.

In addition, she was knocking down this sheer number of people without using her contracted spirit. After all of them collapsed, Nina dragged the people who had passed to one side.

“I’m hungry!”

At Nina’s cry, Jean told the attendant to go and bring a bunch of potatoes.

As she entered the commander’s room and reviewed the documents of the successful candidates, he brought a bunch of steamed potatoes on a tray. The steamed potatoes piled up like a mountain were delicious, but Nina was sad.

“At least when I say I’m hungry like that, I would like something other than steamed potatoes to eat.”

“There is no money.”

Jean said casually. As the second son of a merchant’s family, he sometimes helped with the accounting of

the Duchy, so he was sober when it came to spending money.

“Then, at least I would like to have some salt and steam

it.”

“I will suggest that.” Nina sighed and ate the potatoes. Though she could eat anything when she was hungry, she still felt a little sad, But the grief disappeared as soon as she ate until she was full.

Jean offered cold juice to Nina, who had a fully satisfied face.

“Thank you.”

“You’re welcome.”

His tone was full of sarcasm, but Nina decided to forgive him because of the juice he brought.

Relax your body, relieve stress, and get rid of people, Kill two birds with one stone.

When she drank the juice with water droplets on the surface of the glass in just one gulp, she shouted a satisfying “Kah!” Then Jean took the empty glass of juice and asked.

“But can you just pick them like that?”

“Huh?”

“The number of people is too small.”

“I also made a more generous cut line. If not, I would have only picked the first three.”

Nina laughed lightly. “Well, I can train them.”

At those words, Jean’s whole body wriggled as the memories of training in hell were revived.

His comrades in suffering were going to increase. No, it’s kind of weird for a newcomer to train with the vice commander at the same time.

‘Their newly built up pride will be ruined in an instant.’

Jean shook his head inside. Isn’t there something more important than that? He wanted to fight shoulder to shoulder, not looking at her back. He can put aside his pride for that. He was determined to do that.

Shortly after, Kirill came into the office. She was wearing a nice white gown after quite some time.

“Everyone’s fine, considering they’ve been hit in a vital point. Only the first one to be beaten will have to live on soup, the rest will be fine.”

“Of course, I hit them lightly.”

As Nina blinked her eyes. Kirill continued.

“I sent back all those who were in good shape.”

Jean asked, puzzled.

“Isn’t anyone protesting?” “Do you think it’s possible to protest?”

Kirill pointed at Nina with her chin, and Jean nodded, “Agreed.”

In addition, Kirill is keen on dealing with the tough humans of the Dark Knights. She must have used Nina’s name and used it well.

He was worried if a massive protest were to happen, but even though they fought and lost 100 to 1, it seems difficult to protest.

“Of course, they are embarrassed and will not speak anywhere.’

Jean was convinced. Then Kirill took a letter out of her pocket.

“A letter came from BlueStone Island.”

Nina picked up the letter and looked at the envelope.

[RANDELL)

The name was clear. “Eh? Really?”

Nina stood up. “Why, what’s going on… Commander?”

She smiled at the awkward words of Jean who came a bit late.

“You can just speak informally when we’re alone.”

Jean shook his head.

“No, we have new recruits, what if I make a mistake?”

“Well, then. Do what you want.”

She nodded dryly because she was too lazy to point out that he had already spoken informally.

Nina confirmed the name Randell again.

It’s the male lead.

“Wow, I didn’t know I’d really get a reply. I didn’t think it could really happen.’

Originally, he met the female protagonist because of the flora and fauna of the Violet Forest, so she thought that he wouldn’t be interested because she was not the female lead…

“I did contact the island, but the male lead is the one who really replied. Wow. Huh?’

Nina opened the seal and frowned while reading the letter. Jean said, “What’s wrong? What’s the matter?” He asked her embarrassingly.

“Nothing much, seems like the sage is coming to our territory.”

“What? Why are they coming?”

The informal language popped out of Jean’s embarrassed mouth. He exaggeratedly coughed and asked again.

“No, what’s wrong with them?”

“After receiving the samples and reports of the plants sent to him, he got interested.”

Nina finished reading the letter. The expected departure date and arrival date were written

‘Tomorrow? He’s arriving tomorrow?’

“Are we even ready to meet guests? Why are they coming so fast? No, can he come just like that? Isn’t the first thing to ask is if he can even come here?”

Aren’t the nobles supposed to make an appointment in advance?

Nina frowned, thinking about it.

“I need to talk to Adrian.’

But he’s not here right now.

Nina folded the letter.

“The guest is expected to arrive tomorrow.”

Jean opened his eyes and Kirill laughed.

“All sages are just like that. Bastards who do things at their own pace.”

Nina looked at Kirill who spoke in a harsh tone.

“You speak like you have a personal grudge with them.”

“When you get around this age, there won’t be many places you won’t have a grudge on.”

“Kirill, aren’t you supposed to rethink your life?”

“You dummy.”

Kirill stabbed Nina’s forehead. Nina said, “Ahhhhh,” and screamed with a mix of laughter.

Jean shook his head. “Anyway, then it’s a really inconsiderate guess. Isn’t he just coming to bring some bad news?” At Jean’s grunt, Nina shook her head with a slight smile.

“No way. It would be a good thing if they could research for us instead.”

She sent a letter with the hope of them researching it, but she never thought he would reply so quickly instead.

“I have to get things ready. Prepare a guest room……”

She has to go to Sir Louis. Nina got up from her seat. This is news that should be delivered quickly, the quicker the better. As she left the commander’s room, a man squatting in front of the door jumped up.

Light purple hair and indigo eyes.

He was one of the few who passed the test. His name on the documents was…….

“Raja Ghota.”

Raja, who didn’t even think that the Knight Commander would know his name, quickly crossed his arms in an Xshape and bent down.

“T-This is Raja Gotha!”

“Yeah, what’s going on?”

“Well, I’m here to thank you for your coaching.”

“I didn’t really teach anything.”

“N-no. Even just by seeing such god-like movements made my heart beat so fast, I thought I would die!”

“You can’t die.”

“Thank you!” Nina just tilted her head and laughed.

“So, is this your thank-you greeting?”

“Y-Yes!”

“Okay. It wasn’t much trouble. Go in and rest. You have to start training tomorrow.”

Training!

Raja’s eyes flashed at the word. He said, looking at Nina with eyes full of admiration.

“Yes!”

Jean looked down at him with a trembling expression and walked behind Nina and said.

“I think he’s weird.”

“I think his voice is rather loud or maybe he’s a little deaf. I don’t think there’s anything weird about him.”

“No, I think he’s somehow weird.”

Nina frowned as if saying he was being mean and Jean shut up with a “Hmpf”.

Anyway, now that they’re in the same order, there’s nothing good about gossiping about each other.

“It’s okay, it’s okay. They’re supposed to hear everything crystal clear when they get a good slap.”

At Nina’s words, Jean felt creepy and swallowed his saliva.

“Yeah, after all that training, he’ll be a good listener.’

While Jean was thinking that he wouldn’t have to do anything to unite the newcomers, Nina turned her eyes to the Violet Forest.

The young master heartlessly left for the forest before dawn without even saying goodbye to her.
