Granting You Deep Feelings, May You Treasure It - Chapter 43

Liang Xinchen smiled calmly. “Alright, then I’ll do the job for you.”

Hua Jinan’s smile became deeper. “I’ll donate 10 million for you to make the city greener.”

“There’s no need for a welcoming banquet anymore.” Liang Xinchen continued while looking at Hua Jinan with his deep eyes, “I will accompany the God of Wealth myself, and I guarantee there will be a lot of good food for everyone.”

Hua Jinan laughed and looked at him with his dark eyes. “Yes. Also, it’s time to build a few viaducts.”

Liang Xinchen nodded. “Yes, the traffic is too congested.”

He held up his wine glass. “Or else let me accompany you tonight?” He looked at Hua Jinan with exceptionally loving eyes.

Hua Jinan could not resist laughing and kicked the legs of the man in front of him. “Liang Xinchen, you had enough!”

Liang Xinchen gently knocked his wine glass onto Hua Jinan’s. “You know I love antiques. Build me a museum?”

He looked at Hua Jinan affectionately.

Hua Jinan glanced at him. “Alright, Mr. Governor. Helping the people of Liang City as soon as you take office!”

“Giving my all to the people without a single word of complaint is my life’s dream!” Liang Xinchen immediately said with confidence.

“Then you should be swindling that little rascal Xuan Xiaoran’s money, am I not right?” Hua Jinan said calmly while drinking red wine.

Liang Xinchen suddenly understood and sipped some wine. “That’s right. How did I forget about that rich man?”

Then, his expression darkened. “That man is stringy. Does it hurt him to help out a little?”

Hua Jinan spoke without rushing through his words. “He is looking for someone. If you find that person for him, then he’ll give you whatever you want.”

Liang Xinchen was taken aback. “He’s still looking for that girl?”

Hua Jinan nodded. “Yes.”

“I’m curious. What kind of woman is she to cause so many elites to fall for her?” Liang Xinchen said.

“Alright. I’ll help him find her just to satisfy your curiosity.” Liang Xinchen laughed.

Hua Jinan snorted coldly. “You think I’m stupid?”

Liang Xinchen’s expression suddenly turned serious. “Brother Seven, I heard a lot of rumors about you recently!”

“Yes.” Hua Jinan was calm. “They said I can’t reproduce, and that I am gay?”

Liang Xinchen laughed. “I definitely believe that Brother Seven is a real man.”

Then, his laughter disappeared, and it was replaced with seriousness. “Do you know who was the one spreading the rumors?”

Hua Jinan looked outside the window, his eyes calm. “I know.”

“Then what do you plan to do?” Liang Xinchen said.

“I’m not planning to take action. I’ll just refute their claims!” Hua Jinan said lightly.

“How?” Liang Xinchen said.

Suddenly, Hua Jinan’s expression steeled as he spoke with a deep voice. “Stop the car.”

The car screeched to a halt. Hua Jinan’s face turned even uglier.

Liang Xinchen looked outside the car, and he saw a pair of old and young people kneeling in front of the entrance of the provincial administration building. The banner with the words “Justice Will Prevail” was hung on the building.

“There are complaints on my first day!” Liang Xinchen squinted his eyes and said.

Hua Jinan looked at the women who were kneeling on the ground. His vision became even more blurry and he pursed his lips.

Liang Xinchen realized something was wrong with him. “You know them?”

Hua Jinan did not reply to him. “I want you to accept their indictment.”

Liang Xinchen was shocked, then continued, “I will order someone to do it.”

“I said I want you to handle it yourself,” Hua Jinan ordered with a sharp tone.
