Lu Man wanted to say something more.
“Let’s go. It’s almost time.” He hugged her waist and gentleness was written all over his handsome face.
He seemed overbearing and cold to Lu Man. But, it seemed like Lu Man was only hallucinating.
She sighed. That man was always overbearing and cold. He did not reveal too much to her.
Pei Xiuyuan was an exceptional man. Everyone turned their attention to him wherever he went. Soon, everybody turned to look at them when they appeared in the wedding hall including the bride and the bridegroom.
The facial expression of both the bride and bridegroom changed drastically when Lu Man and Pei Xiuyuan appeared together.
Pei Xiuyuan approached the couple with Lu Man by his side when the couple was trying to understand the situation.
“Brother, why are you with her?” Wang Yunxi was so shocked to see them together. She forgot her gracefulness and scolded Pei Xiuyuan angrily.
Mu Yunhai’s face darkened. His black eyes fell on Lu Man. Why was Lu Man with Pei Xiuyuan? Why did they appear so intimate?
Why did she allow Pei Xiuyuan to hug her like that?

Mu Yunhai wanted so desperately to go and tear them apart. He wanted to chop off Pei Xiuyuan’s hand. But, all he could do was just stand there, not being able to do anything else.
Lu Man smirked when she saw the blaming look Mu Yunhai gave her. Why was she not allowed to be with someone else?
“Brother, what happened exactly?” Wang Yunxi asked him impatiently.
Pei Xiuyuan replied calmly, “Let’s go to the lounge.”
He did not want his family affairs to become others’ gossip.
His calm reply ruined the desires of various people. They were eager to know what had happened.
The four of them went to the lounge.
“Brother, why are you with her?” Wang Yunxi could not hold back anymore.
“She’s my wife and your sister-in-law now. It’s natural that we’re together. You better be polite to her from now on,” Pei Xiuyuan replied calmly.
“What?” Wang Yunxi screamed out loud.
Mu Yunhai forced himself to stay calm all the while but now he was so shocked that his jaws dropped open.
What did it mean? When did Manman become Pei Xiuyuan’s wife?
That was impossible! It was impossible!
Lu Man felt that it was indeed worth it to come all the way to their wedding when she saw how shocked they were.
Pei Xiuyuan was close to Wang Yunxi. She felt that it was not a bad thing now. She realized that Wang Yunxi needed to address her as sister-in-law respectfully from now on. It was indeed good news given that Wang Yunxi was such an arrogant and reckless woman who was so condescending toward her before.

“Brother, how could you marry that woman?” Wang Yunxi could not take it anymore. She stared at Lu Man sternly. She wanted to know what kind of scheme Lu Man had plotted that had gotten her brother to marry her.
“Wang Yunxi!” Pei Xiuyuan’s face darkened. He could not allow his wife to be addressed as such.
Wang Yunxi was disappointed to see her brother respond like that. “Brother, you know that… you know that…”
Lu Man was her husband’s ex-girlfriend. How could he marry her? It was just as if…

“The past is the past. I hope that you will treat each other nicely from now on.” Pei Xiuyuan smiled and looked at both Mu Yunhai and his younger sister.
His smile was just like a warning to them.

She thought that Wang Yunxi addressed Pei Xiuyuan as her brother just like how one would address someone older than them.
“Brother, Grandma would never allow her to be a part of our family!” Wang Yunxi still could not treat Lu Man respectfully although Pei Xiuyuan had clearly warned her.
She wanted Lu Man to disappear from this world so badly. Now, she had become her sister-in-law. Wang Yunxi could not take that! How could she treat Lu Man respectfully!
“Our family?” Lu Man’s frown deepened. She looked at Pei Xiuyuan and doubt was written all over her face.
“Yunxi is my younger sister,” Pei Xiuyuan replied. It was as if what he said was just any other common fact.
“Is she truly your younger sister?”
“Yes.”
Lu Man was speechless.
Wang Yunxi was truly Pei Xiuyuan’s younger sister! His younger sister!
They were not only close to each other. But, she was his younger sister! They came from the same family!
She could not help but feel a fury rising in her heart. She clenched her fists tightly on her sides.

She remembered how she claimed that she wanted to take her revenge on Wang Yunxi in front of Pei Xiuyuan. She was so outraged that her entire body shook with anger. She wanted to scream out loud!
She was just an idiot! A foolish person!
She was so stupid that it was beyond everything else in the world.
She really would not even realize her own faults when she was framed and killed by someone else.
Pei Xiuyuan got up immediately. He grabbed her elbow. “Manman.”
“Let go!” Lu Man sounded so cold and distant.
“Manman, you need to calm down.”
“Calm down? I’ve already calmed down.” Lu Man laughed coldly. Was she not calm now?
“Two of you just leave us alone. I need to talk to her.” Pei Xiuyuan looked at Wang Yunxi and Mu Yunhai.
“I have nothing to talk to you about. Let me go!” Lu Man did not want to stay there another second. But, she could not free herself from his grasp.
“What do you need to talk to her about? Let her go if she wants to!” Wang Yunxi felt that Lu Man was just plotting another scheme there. She felt that Lu Man was just a wicked woman.
“Wang Yunxi!” Pei Xiuyuan warned her again.
Wang Yunxi bit her lips. Her elder brother always adored her and let her have her ways. But, she knew that her elder brother would be quite ferocious if he was angry.
“Let’s go.” Wang Yunxi dragged Mu Yunhai with her.
Mu Yunhai stared at Lu Man. There were various kinds of emotions.
He needed to be patient. If not, all of his plans would be ruined. He could not lose there and then!
The atmosphere became quite tense with only the two of them there.
“What do you want to talk about? Just spit it out! Let me go when you’re done!” She had no choice but to stay and listen to him.
“You’re angry.”
Lu Man laughed. “Isn’t it obvious?’
“Why are you angry?”
Lu Man laughed even harder when she realized that Pei Xiuyuan was unaware of the reason behind her anger.
“Why? Why?” She wanted to laugh. She wanted so badly to laugh at him. “Pei Xiuyuan, are you really dumb or do you think I’m dumb?”
How could she stay calm when he had framed her like that? How dare he asked her why?
