The dress was quite revealing at the back. It did not expose her entire back but it outlined her beautiful body clearly.
When she moved, her white and snowy back was revealed clearly and it was sometimes hidden by her black hair. It was a sexy sight.
“Do you plan to wear this dress to attend the wedding?” His deep voice became rather hoarse.
“Yes, why?” Lu Man stopped and turned to look at him. Was he not made aware of that just now?
“It’s nothing. It’s beautiful.” He lowered his eyes and no emotion could be deciphered from his handsome face.
Lu Man could not help but blush when he praised her again.
She was soon grabbed and pulled into his embrace when she wanted to go and change her clothes.
The next morning…
“Pei Xiuyuan!” Lu Man went to bed angrily.
Pei Xiuyuan blinked, his sleepy black eyes looked at her. He ignored her anger and smiled lazily at her. “What’s wrong, my dear?”
“What’s wrong? You just take a look at it!” Lu Man stretched out her little legs then she turned and showed him her back.
How could she go out like that?
Early in the morning, she had dragged her exhausted body out of bed and did her make up. She changed into her dress when she had done her hairdo. When she took a look in the mirror, she was stunned.
How could she wear that dress when her back was like that?
“I’m sorry, my dear,” Pei Xiuyuan apologized innocently.
“You…” Lu Man could not say anything else.
How could she say anything when he had apologized so sincerely?
She could not help but go look for another dress in the closet angrily.
Pei Xiuyuan smiled smugly when she turned away from him.
It was a pity that she could not wear that gorgeous dress.
Her entire body was covered in scratches. Lu Man had no choice but to choose a dress that could cover her scars.

Lu Man pouted. It was almost time. “Let’s go.”
Pei Xiuyuan went forward and circled his arm around his wife’s waist. “My dear, your dress is attractive. My taste is really something, isn’t it?”
Lu Man did not respond to that but chose to sneer at him. Clearly, she was still angry at him.
She had spent so many days searching for that dress. She was so eager to wear that dress and dazzle everybody at the wedding. But, what was the result?
It was an armor which she was going to wear to the battlefield and defeat her enemy. Now, the dress was left pitifully in the closet!
She could almost hear the dress crying silently in the closet!
“You must be able to dazzle everybody there and even the bride is no match to your beauty!” Pei Xiuyuan coaxed her.
Lu Man still refused to respond to him.
“How can we appear sweet and intimate in front of everybody if you’re like that?” He could not endure it when his wife was that cold and distant!
“Let’s leave it to later. I don’t want to talk to you now!” Lu Man was not stupid. She knew that he had done that on purpose. He had left scratches on her body so that she could not wear that dress to the wedding.
“Why don’t you want to talk to me?”
“Why?” Lu Man turned and looked at him. “Don’t you know yourself?”
“I don’t want the others to look at my beautiful wife. Is that wrong?” Pei Xiuyuan did not have the least bit of shame even when she saw right through his little scheme. He acted like he was the one who was right.
Lu Man was speechless.
Lu Man did not know how to retort to that since he made sense too.
“I just don’t want to talk to you. Can’t I do even that?” He could foil her plan. Why could she not throw a tantrum?
“Okay, it’s only for a short while.” Pei Xiuyuan sounded so generous.
Lu Man was again speechless.
They soon reached Dream Manor when they were busy arguing with each other.
Dream Manor was just like its name. It was a dreamy kind of manor. It was filled with a romantic atmosphere. It was the best wedding spot in Haicheng. However, Dream Manor was only opened to special and privileged guests. Regular people were not allowed to hold their weddings there. Lu Man had never been there. She heard that it was a beautiful place and she always wanted to take a look. That was also the reason why she wanted to attend their wedding.
