“So Garthas is going to join Shuvia’s guild. I guess he’ll have to start from scratch.”

When you leave the guild, all of your previous ranks are reset and you start over at rank E.
It is said that this is a measure to keep adventurers from leaving for other countries.
However, some adventurers have made it to the S rank, but then transfer and start again at the E rank.
