I told Alice about this case.
“I know it’s none of the demons’ business, but I need your help.”
“I don’t mind cooperating with you. But I guess humans can be bad too.”
“Because there are many kinds of humans, and so are demons.”
I’ve seen a lot of people since I quit being a hero, and I’ve come to believe that humans are worse than demons.
“I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do to help.”
“In short, are there any special plants in the demon territory?”
“Yes, there is. It’s called “parasitic flower”. It’s a flower that only exists in the Demon Realm.”
“I’ve heard of it. It’s a flower that not only drains the land of its nutrients but also kills the local food and plants.”
“They’re beautiful to look at. I think it’s the perfect flower for them.”
It certainly fits the bill.
“Then, why don’t we have a merchant who is in partnership with the Count buy the story and sell it to him?”
“Let’s go with that!”
And so the plan began.
First, watch the Count’s house to find out who the merchant was that was working with Count Serawyn, and I soon found out.
To my surprise, the merchant was the one who sold Aina the wand.
When Aina found out, she was so angry.
She immediately grabbed the merchant and interrogated him, and he immediately threw up.
Aina’s anger explodes when she discovers that Count Serawyn was involved with the cheap wand
