“Beep, retrieval of Grade A Animal-Breeding Skill and Grade S Animal-Taming Skill detected, do you wish to redeem it?”

Chen B-Dog felt conflicted for a moment, A Grade S Skill had appeared again. Animal-Breeding and Animal-Taming: one differing word made a world of difference. But it was not like he wanted to be a zoo keeper anyway. So anyone should know to make the obvious choice.

Just the price of Grade S skill, heartache!

However, the circumstances did not permit further deliberation on his part. Gritting his teeth, he quickly used 3 Grade C Lucky-Draw Chances to redeem the Grade S Animal-Taming Skill. On the Skills Panel, the third Grade S Skill had been listed correspondingly, which was Animal-Taming Skill (Grade S) LV1.

Having used 5 Skill Points, the Skill Level was immediately raised to LV6.

The System began to inculcate him with new information. Within the span of mere seconds, he felt his mind clear up; his mental strength seemed to have increased considerably, and so has his acuity for controlling the surroundings, to the extent that he could feel the anxiety of the reindeer beneath him, which must have been a misconception…but was it really?

Inadvertently, he was once again astounded by the System.

His attention returned to the reindeer.

The reindeer that had him at wits end just a moment ago somehow felt endearing now. Through utilizing the Animal-Taming Skill, he had already begun adeptly imitating the reindeer’s cries; his hands gently caressed the reindeer’s belly to comfort it while his body rubbed against its back. His stream of consciousness was constantly in tune with the reindeer’s various feelings. Having such a spiritual connection comparable to that in “Avatar” was giving him the wrong impression, which almost made him think that he also was a member of the herd.

It was really all too magical. He had never had such an experience before.

Gradually, a miracle occurred. The once aggressive reindeer surprisingly started to ease up little by little. The surrounding reindeers were hesitant to come forward. The reindeers in front continued their journey and the ones behind were also slowly tagging along whereas the fawns were still hesitant and did not dare to go near their mother.

“It worked!”

Chen B-Dog was thrilled. He took out the Tiger Leather Pouch, revealing two starving tiger cubs, which he then placed beneath the stomach of the doe. His guidance wasn’t necessary. Instinctually, the tiger cubs had already stuck their furry heads out and sucked on the nipples of the doe. Having drunk the doe’s warm milk, the tiger cubs happily meowed.

The doe had completely calmed down at this moment; it was even licking the tiger cubs with its tongue.

Before this, he had read the news about a mother dog nursing newborn tiger cubs in the zoo, of which he had been skeptical, but it turned out to be true. The innate instinct of the animal to nurse the young had been firmly embedded in their genes.

At this moment, even the self-proclaimed stone-hearted Chen B-Dog was touched by this noble maternal instinct; the smile on his face had, unbeknown to him, greatly softened.

There was no need for him to comment at all, the broadcasting room had already been flooded with a sea of pop-up comments saying “Bravo”.

“I have been touched.”

“You’ve had a long day, Lord B-Dog.”

“Lord B-Dog, please spare the doe afterwards. Can you please don’t kill the doe and eat its meat? It still needs to nurse its fawns.”

Chen B-Dog, however, was not free like the audience. He kept monitoring the scene anxiously, and it wasn’t until the tiger cubs were full that he could breathe freely again. Seeing that the doe had quite the sufficient supply of breast milk, he picked up a water bottle and begun milking the doe, stopping only when he had filled the entire bottle completely.

He had a hunch. If he were to continue communicating with the doe, in the long run he might really end up domesticating this wild reindeer. However, he gave up acting on this possibility. He patted the doe on its back causing it to jump up, startled, and its fawns, which had been keeping their distance, immediately ran to their mother’s side.

After the family of three was reunited, they rejoined the herd and started their animal migration.

Chen B-Dog witnessed the herd disappearing before him. Solemnly, he put away the bottle that had been filled with deer milk and plunked himself down onto the ground.

He was really tired this time. Leaning against a giant rock that shielded him from the blizzard, he sat on the ground and let the heavy snow fall on him while he gasped for air. He wasn’t about to get up any time soon.

Without realizing, the two fully fed tiger cubs stuck their heads out from the Tiger Leather Pouch, finally opening their eyes, and meowed at him nonstop.

Chen B-Dog was awakened. He caressed the tigers’ head with a contented smile. So what if it took a lot of hard work, seeing this had made all the sacrifices worthwhile. .

“Sister Chu has treated Chen B-Dog to 520 Buddha Jumps over the Wall, go grab the treasure boxes quickly everybody.”

After going crazy for several minutes, the Buddha Jumps over the Wall brigade had finally settled down. Sunset Dust was not so crazy after all, after gifting another 200 Buddha Jumps over the Wall, she stopped. Then, she simply watched as the godlike tycoon, Sister Chu, who came over from Shark TV, surpassed Chief Cow and President Wang and became the first on the list successfully.

Sister Chu leisurely sent the pop-up comment, “Lord B-Dog, you’ve been working very hard. It wasn’t until I watched your broadcast that I realized those anchors pretending to be handsome, pettish and adorable I used to watch had become absolutely unsightly. I should have come here earlier. From now on, I will be stationing myself in this Broadcasting Room. I hope no one will despise me.”

“Bravo.”

“Lord B-Dog, thank you for the hard work.”

“Tycoon Goddess, you’re welcomed to visit Lord B-Dog.”

“Goddess, you’re right. It’s still not too late to realize that now.”

“My mighty Lord B-Dog is invincibly charming.”

“Finally the cubs’ lives have been spared. When I saw the cubs meowing and wanting to lick B-Dog, my heart was melting. I guess when the cubs opened their eyes for the first time and saw Lord B-Dog, they would think that he was their mother.”

“This is the most classical scene. Luckily I did not miss it.”

“Beep, congratulations, Master, for completing the Sub Mission. Your popularity has reached 6 million, earning you 1 Skill Point and 1 Grade C Lucky-Draw Chance.”

The System’s sudden reward announcement awakened Chen B-Dog and he opened the System to check. After spending a big fortune just now, he had been compensated. Currently, he still had 2 chances of Grade C Lucky Draw, 18 chances of Grade D Lucky Draw and 23 Skill Points.

He was no longer intent on saving the coupons. Rewards this small no doubt couldn’t be accumulated even in the remainder of the Beginner’s Stage.

He stood up, sweeping off the snow on him, and smiled to the camera saying, “Thank you everyone for your gifts. I am feeling much better, don’t worry.”

“Now that we have resolved the issue of feeding the tiger cubs, the heavy load that has been on my mind since yesterday night has finally been removed. The heavy snow is not going to stop today, we will simply find a shelter in this rock forest to make a fire and grill some wolf thigh meat to replenish energy.”

“Ever since I brought along these two tiger cubs, I realized that even my own standard of living has declined. I used to eat every meal luxuriously, but now I can only fill my stomach with a little grilled wolf meat.”

Shaking his head, he smiled mockingly at himself, though he didn’t care much for that anyway. Despite putting it that way he was still grilling the wolf meat at a master chef level, tossing the kebabs here and there in the air, he even started playing tricks.

After his meal he warmed the deer milk a little to prevent it from getting cold. The blizzard had gotten slightly calmer now, and it stopped completely after a while. He smiled saying, “The weather favored us. It seems that Lady Luck did not abandon me. So let’s hurry up and continue our journey, before anything bad happens again.”

Throughout his journey over the mountains, he commented on things from time to time.

The atmosphere in the live broadcast room had become lively again. It was then that he finally realized somebody had broken the record of his total list. Upon asking, many viewers started explaining eagerly and it took him awhile to figure out that he had attracted yet another female tycoon. “This is crazy…”
