Drifting towards you - Chapter 47

30 minutes later, the sound of running water in the bathroom still hadn’t stopped.

Another set of knocking sounds came from the door, Su Xiangwan frowned and went over to take a look.

Shang Wen once again appeared in front of her, now with two servants who were holding a suitcase in each hand.

“You…”

Before she could speak, Shang Wen walked in with the servants right away.

The servants opened the suitcases. One of them skillfully placed Mu Beiting’s clothing neatly in the wardrobe, and the other person examined it for a moment before spreading a white tablecloth on the dining table, he then arranged some daily necessities.

“I say, mister… this is my home…” Su Xiangwan was seething with anger.

However, Shang Wen blocked his ears at her words, and diligently directed the servants to create the most comfortable living environment for Mu Beiting.

Su Xiangwan softly sighed and leaned against the door hugging her arms. Upon seeing a bunch of male products suddenly appear in the room made her lungs hurt.

Is that bastard Mu Beiting really planning to live here?

After a careful inspection, Shang Wen brought a change of clothes and products to the bathroom. Then, he nodded at Su Xiangwan and turned to leave.

Su Xiangwan looked like she had nothing left to live for and leaned against the door, waiting for Mu Beiting to come out.

A few minutes later, the bathroom door finally opened.

A burst of dense heat rushed out first.

Immediately after that, a half-naked man stepped out of the bathroom wearing a pair of dark blue cotton pajama pants.

Su Xiangwan slowly straightened up and looked at him absent-mindedly.

Broad shoulders, thin waist, narrow hips.

His skin was strong and fair, his muscle lines were perfect, it was where one more seemed too much and one less seemed too few.

He was the typical type to appear skinny in clothes and have flesh in bare skin.

Mu Beiting lightly glanced at her. He dried his hair with a towel, brushed past her, and went straight to the bedroom.

Su Xiangwan snapped back to reality and turned around to see that he was already sitting down on her single bed.

“Mu Beiting… you… you’re going to live here?” Su Xiangwan’s voice trembled in anger.

“You cannot leave my sight before you pay off your debt.”

“You’re being a scoundrel!”

Upon seeing her blow up like a cat whose tail was stomped on, Mu Beiting’s face was unperturbed. He grabbed a black doll and placed it behind his back, seeming to be extremely comfortable.

Her Kumamoto bear!

Aaarrgghh… where did this demon come from…

Su Xiangwan was about to collapse, she couldn’t understand how there could be such a shameless man in the world.

She took a deep breath and forced herself to calm down.

“Mr. Mu really plans to live here?”

“Yes.” Mu Beiting picked up some documents and started flipping through them without looking up.

Su Xiangwan glared at him fiercely. In fact, generally speaking, living together is fine, why would she be scared of someone who’s incompetent in a certain area?

Maybe the pavilion closest to the water enjoys the moonlight first, she could probably make her wish in becoming Mrs. Mu come true as well.

However, she just happened to take the path of the entertainment industry, and because she had suffered from the ruining of her reputation in her past life. She has always been extremely cautious in this life.

To her, obtaining the marriage license first and then living together had a fundamental difference from living together first and then obtaining the marriage license.

If reporters did happen to find out about her and Mu Beiting living together, not much was needed to be said about her becoming a target of public criticism. Perhaps she’ll have to carry the infamy of climbing up through unspoken rules and seducing the Mu Family’s Young Master as well.

By then, her life will probably be even more difficult than her past life!

“There shouldn’t be physical contact between a single man and a single woman. Plus, is Mr. Mu not afraid about your fiancee getting angry if she knew?” Su Xiangwan spoke again.

“She won’t, those who want to be Mrs. Mu must have a high tolerance for others.” Mu Beiting didn’t even lift his head, nothing seemed to work on him.

There was nothing she could do about him, he refused to leave by persuasion or by force. In the end, her little face flushed red and she looked across to the bizarre outfits on the mobile hangers.
