“What? I’m not good enough for you?”
An Ziqi turned pale. She held on tightly to her glass, unsure of what to do next.
Fortunately, Xia Tianxing, who was seated beside her, had seen what happened. Quickly, she got up from her chair and pulled An Ziqi to take her seat.
Then she poured a glass of rice wine and presented it to that man, smiling. “Mr. Wang, please excuse my little sister. She’s young and not accustomed to the world stage. Please accept this glass of wine as my apology on her behalf.”
“Ha. She doesn’t know what’s good for her.”
The man called Mr. Wang huffed and puffed.
Then he accepted the glass of wine from Xia Tianxing and emptied it in one gulp.
After which, he grabbed Xia Tianxing’s hand and fondled it, smiling.
“Without a doubt, the elder sister is more well-informed. Keep it up and you will go far.”
Beneath that vile smile, the layers of fatty flesh bobbled on his really greasy face.
Using all her willpower to not show her revulsion, Xia Tianxing did not pull her hand away but forced herself to smile instead.
“Thank you, Mr. Wang, for the compliment. We are thankful that you are so forgiving.”
“Well, if you want me to forgive, then drink with me.”
That said, Mr. Wang quickly took a large glass of wine that had been placed in front of him and pushed it toward Xia Tianxing’s mouth.
Biting her lips, An Ziqi was about to speak up when Xia Tianxing, using her free hand, clutched her tight under the table, silently signaling to her to not say anything.
With a forced smile, Xia Tianxing took the glass and drank it all in one go.
“Excellent.”
Laughing loudly, Mr. Wang reached out and wrapped his arm around Xia Tianxing’s waist. He then poured another large glass and pushed it toward her mouth.
“Drink one glass with me, and I will donate one million.”
Now, all the guests in the private room were from the upper echelons of society in S City, so naturally, they were rolling in money. It was no big deal and perfectly normal for these wealthy people to spend a few million for a bit of fun.
The others around the table decided to join in the fun and began to name their prices.
“Here. Strip a piece of clothing for one million.”
“One kiss, one million.”

In no time, the private room was filled with raucous chatter and getting rowdier by the minute. An Ziqi was petrified.
These people were getting more and more out of line. First, it was drinking, and now, they were even talking about stripping. She had never encountered situations like this before.
Throughout the merrymaking, many people came over to An Ziqi and asked her to drink with them.
Xia Tianxing had intervened in many of those requests and ended up drinking a lot on An Ziqi’s behalf.
Even so, that did not save An Ziqi from having to down a few glasses herself.
Her mind was already getting fuzzy, and she was beginning to have double visions.
Suddenly, the door to the private room was opened from the outside.
A tattooed youth with an evil aura about him walked in with two beautiful women hanging onto him. One of the women was holding a big black bag.
“Mr. Wang, Mr. Qin, dear bosses, my boss heard that you were here and had specifically asked me to come over and present you with a bit of fun. Right here, we have the latest product that will most definitely blow your socks off,” the tattooed youth announced with a laugh. Then, he instructed the woman who had been holding the bag to put it down.
There were three media giants in S City—Huanyu Global, JK Entertainment, and Tang Rui Films.
The one called Mr. Qin was Qin Yong, boss of Tang Rui Films.
Qin Yong had no idea what it was in the black bag that the tattooed youth had brought with him, but he hoped that it was something good that would perk him up. Waiting till the young man had sat down, Qin Yong asked with interest, “Why has Mr. Bai not come to join in the fun today?”
“Mr. Bai had indeed intended to come personally and join in the fun. You should know that even our Mr. Bai has not had the chance to try this new product.” The young man snickered and then continued, “However, because he needs to attend to some unexpected business, Mr. Bai has asked me to come over and join you in his place.”
