Collecting the Male Leads’ First Nights - Chapter 10

Chapter 10

The points to be distributed that were generated by leveling up were 10. It was probably giving her 5 points for each level. Since she had to hit hard with a hammer, she decided to put them all on strength first.

‘Distribute all 10 points to strength.’

As she shouted inwardly, the strength stat on the status window went up to 30. She could feel her arms getting stronger. When she rolled up her clothes and checked, she could see that a small muscle had formed on her thin and slender arms. As she swung her arms in the air, she could hear the wind splitting.

‘Hm, not bad.’

While Sylvia was distributing the points and was distracted for a moment, Sevis grabbed the bag and lightly tapped her on the shoulder.

“Miss Sylvia? Let’s go now.”
“Yeah.”

After following Sevis for a while, a cave appeared between the cliffs along the coast. A message appeared as she stepped into the cave entrance.

[Normal Dungeon: Coastal Cave]

———————————————

After reading the message, she looked ahead and felt a weak but evil energy flowing out in front of her. As she was lightly rubbing her arms with goosebumps, Sevis looked back and opened his mouth.

“This is the lowest level dungeon among the basic dungeons. Since I have strong natural strength, I don’t need to increase my strength when I become an adult; but I heard that humans usually train in places like this. If you beat the monsters with the hammer, hidden marbles will appear. Sometimes they drop useful things, so pick them up.”
“Okay. Understood.”

Sevis didn’t know that this world was a game, but he seemed to know the concept of dungeons, monsters, and leveling up.
It was a relief among all the misfortunes. She was desperate at first because Sevis didn’t know anything, but that was because she used game terms. This world had its own rules that made it possible to play the game naturally.

Fortunately, the cave had holes in the ceiling, so visibility was not dark. As she took a few steps, a blue crab that seemed to be inedible just by looking at it appeared.

It was a [Contaminated Blue Crab]. Fortunately, it was a blue crab and not a mammal, so it seemed that the guilt of her first killing wouldn’t be big.

“Its speed is slow, and its attack isn’t fatal, so it’s easy to kill it.”

Sevis swung his sword and easily slashed the crab while grabbing Sylvia’s hand.
It was an act he did unconsciously to protect his master. He was so startled that he let it go as quickly as he grabbed it, as if he were shaking it off.

Sylvia tried to hide her disappointment and looked at Sevis’ hand. It was a delicate hand that seemed fit for playing the piano. His fingers twitched for a moment and soon found peace.

‘Will his hands still be pretty when he becomes an adult? I hope his hands are soft even when he becomes an adult. I like men with pretty hands…’

Not knowing what his master was thinking, Sevis proceeded forward, slashing blue crabs one after another with the sword in one hand.

Sylvia hesitated and hit a crab that was staggering in the corner of the cave wall with a thud.
Splat! in that blow, the blue crab crumbled as it spewed a sticky blue liquid, just like the Protoss race of St*rCraft did when they died.

Sylvia found a marble in the crumbled crab and put it in her inventory. As she continued to hit them with the hammer, she felt as excited as when she was killing monsters in a game.

‘It’s like a game of catching the mole.’

The sweeping sound of Sevis’ sword and the thumping sound of Sylvia’s hammer echoed for a long time.

After about 20 crabs were killed, a window appeared with a sound effect.

[Level up!]

———————————————

‘It seems I can level up even by killing monsters. That’s a relief, it would have been difficult if the only way to level up was by targeting virgin handsome men.’

After confirming that her level had risen, Sylvia’s hammering became faster.

Bang, bang, bang! After striking the crab’s head three times in a row, she moved forward excitedly. Marbles or items appeared where the crabs disappeared, but sometimes nothing came out.

After smashing crabs for a while, she went up a total of 5 levels. When she checked the inventory, she had also gathered about 50 marbles extracted from the blue crabs. Only two blue crabs dropped 〈Well-cooked Crab Meat〉. Uncontrollable laughter came out of her mouth at the item that appeared contained in a black envelope.

‘Are we at the Jagalchi Market…’
(T/N: The name of a fish market in Busan.)

When she read the description, it said 〈Delicious crab meat that can be eaten〉. Sylvia got excited at the thought of Sevis making a crab dish when they got home.

‘I think I’m leveling up fast in the beginning because I’m at a low level. I’m going to reach level 10 today.’

Although Sylvia was disappointed at first for awakening as a hammer warrior, the hammer gave her the advantage of being able to defeat monsters without any special skills.

Sevis called Sylvia, who continued smashing the blue crabs.

“Miss Sylvia, look over there.”

Bang! After finishing off one more crab, Sylvia looked ahead.
She could see a crab of extraordinary size shining brightly in various colors, showing off and walking around on its crab legs.

[Well-contaminated Blue Crab]

As Sylvia tried to step forward, Sevis raised his arm and stopped her.

“It’s a well-contaminated blue crab. It will be dangerous for Miss Sylvia.”

As he said, the shell of the blue crab, which shone brightly in various colors, seemed to be saying, ‘you will die instantly if you eat it’.

Sylvia opened the status window for a moment to distribute 15 of the newly received points to strength and 10 to HP. The crab’s steps seemed slow, so she didn’t feel the need to invest in agility yet.

As Sylvia was distracted with the status window, Sevis suddenly stepped forward.

‘Oh, don’t. I need to get the finishing hit to gain experience!’

“Wait… Sevis, wait!”

Because she didn’t know how many hits it would take to kill the crab, Sylvia hurriedly ran towards Sevis and hugged him from behind. It was half the intention to stop him, and half her self-interest amid that.
As she hurriedly hugged him from behind, the fragrant body wash scent and the unique scent of a wolf-shifter mixed together and tickled Sylvia’s nose.

‘Ah, his body is stronger than I thought…’

Although he said he had not yet become an adult, his body was as solid as she had seen in the morning. Unlike his young-looking face, Sevis resembled an adult man with a slightly small body.

Was it because he was a shifter? It was a body that seemed to have tremendous potential when he reached adulthood.

Sevis hardened like a rock and the sudden incident. Sylvia flinched for a moment, but didn’t release the hands that were embracing him.

‘He has a solid body. It will be even better when he becomes an adult. Fortunately, it seems I don’t get a dead-ending just from hugging him.’

As she tried to stroke his chest slightly while adjusting her lewdness levels, Sevis flinched as if he had come to his senses. Sevis grabbed Sylvia’s hand that was stroking him. Then, he turned his head and spoke in a low voice, as if growling.

“Miss Sylvia… Don’t do that…”

Sylvia immediately came to her senses at Sevis’ slightly trembling voice.
Sevis’ face as he fully turned around and looked at Sylvia was slightly red, but in her eyes, his face looked angry. His red eyes staring at her were shining dangerously, and above all… his hands were trembling.

‘Eek, is he shaking because he’s angry?’

As he looked at her with trembling eyes while biting his lips, Sylvia got afraid of meeting a dead-ending like she did with the pufferfish man the last time.

‘He seems to be really angry.’

She pulled Sevis’ hand away, turned her gaze to the side, and hesitatingly let out an excuse.

“The thing is, I wanted to be the one killing that multicolored crab… Hm…”

It wasn’t wrong. She had a bit of an ulterior motive, but she didn’t show it, she thought.

‘I can’t believe he looked so cold just because I hugged him a little.’

Although she seemed to have made up her mind many times, Sylvia vowed not to expect much from Sevis for a while.

At her words, Sevis roughly swept down his face with the palm of his hand and sighed. He looked confused.

“Ugh… Alright.”
“Hm… Are you angry?”
“I’m not angry, but… It’s nothing. You have to be careful and kill it. If it’s dangerous, I’ll come forward.”

Sevis brushed his bangs roughly for a moment before returning to his usual face. He was very perplexed by his master’s sudden skinship. He was surprised and answered Sylvia while showing his fangs, so it was understandable that she would think he was angry. Sevis gazed down at his arm, fiddling with his hot ear. It had only been a few days since he met Sylvia, but he felt like he had grown up a little.

The Black Wolves become adults when they feel the need to grow up. Like when a big threat appears before them, or… when they get ready to meet their companion.

‘Did I grow up because of the sense of crisis that I had to help my Master? Or…’

It wasn’t a bad thing to grow up due to a sense of crisis. If he became an adult, he would be able to cleanse the contaminated areas with Sylvia with a stronger power.

But what if it was due to another reason?

It was troublesome to grow up conscious that it was because of Sylvia. She was so distracted by the idea of saving the world… He couldn’t believe he was thinking something else standing next to her. What kind of impure thought was this?

If Sylvia knew Sevis’ inner thoughts, she’d say, ‘No. Think of it as rationality. Please.’. Alas, the two were mistaken about each other.

‘It must be because I’ve never been so close with someone of the opposite sex. Let’s just stick to our mission.’

Sevis bit his lips tightly and decided not to betray his master’s expectations.

He looked at Sylvia, who was exercising in preparation to kill the large crab.

‘Sylvia’s power has grown stronger.’

Since he was a wolf, he could feel Sylvia’s power with his senses. Although she was too weak at first, Sylvia’s energy had grown little by little since entering the dungeon.
If they cleared nearby dungeons whenever she was off work like this, she would become stronger than most mercenaries.

‘With this speed, we might be able to reach the Wolf Kingdom within three months…’

No. Swollen with anticipation for a moment, Sevis looked at Sylvia, and then shook his head.
