However, Ling’s roar was utterly useless. It didn’t affect the two cowards who had already made up their minds to hide till the end in such a dangerous situation. She watched as the two cowards rushed like the wind up towards the roof of the building, whilst pathetically grabbing large packs of potato chips, coke and various snacks.
The infuriated power bank trembled!
After a long silence, Ling’s voice viciously rang out through gritted teeth,

After cursing Fang Ran, Ling floated up. Instead of following in their direction, she flew off in another direction.

On the roof of the building, two furtive figures appeared on the rooftop carrying packets of snacks of all sizes. Locking the only small door from the inside, Impetuous heaved a sigh of relief and flashed a thumbs up at Fang Ran while saying, “Younger brother, we’re safe now!”
Then he saw that Fang Ran was already sitting by the railing and digging through his favorite potato chips.
“Hey, what the f*ck! Save me some!”
Impetuous hurriedly joined in and the both of them just sat on the steps next to the edge of the roof, watching the flourishing lights of the city at night.
“Older brother, when will the people down there be done?” Fang Ran asked while gnawing on a ham sausage.
“Hey, rest easy. This scenario is a rather rare reward scenario amongst the Night Battles. The duration is definitely not long. I estimate that the battle will end in less than an hour.” Impetuous fished out a bottle of yogurt and poured it into his mouth.
“Oh, I see.” Fang Ran looked at the dark shadows that appeared from time to time beneath the building, the lightning that was rampaging the street not far away from them, as well as the unknown number of people that were fighting at locations far away from them.
Just as the two of them were lying in hiding and watching the show, it seemed that the Night Battle didn’t want them to be too comfortable. The lightning on the nearby street began to move. It seemed to be chasing to kill something. For some reason, it actually chased all the way to the plaza on the ground floor of the building where the two of them were.
“F*ck! Older brother, have we been spotted?”
“No! Calm down, younger brother. Look, the possessor of the lightning is clearly chasing and killing others,” Impetuous said with a serious face. “Oh! Oh! Oh!” Fang Ran nodded even though he did not understand it, but it sounded awesome to him. He put on an expression as though he understood the key points in that. However, if he had been at the remains of the building previously, he would have known that this person was the person from the previous scenario!
Impetuous continued explaining with a sour expression, “Younger brother, you better not even think that she’s not powerful. Compared to us E-grade scums, she can casually kill the two of us with a flash of lightning. But this is not the most important thing!”

The captain of Ardour flicked her right hand and threw out a flash of lightning, which hurled towards the opponent like a whip. The man was shocked, but did not panic. He put strength into his leg and was about to jump back to dodge out of the way, when he suddenly realised in shock that he actually could not move!
“Magnetic field?!”
The man speculated in shock. After which, a circle of lightning appeared under his feet, and a large chain of lightning shot up towards the sky!

A long streak of lightning flashed past, shooting up right in front of Fang Ran and Impetuous who were on the rooftop!
With stiff necks, Fang Ran and Impetuous exchanged a glance. Just now, they seemed to have detected the burnt smell of the billboards on the edge of the rooftop…
After eliminating her opponent, the captain of Ardour appeared rather bored. She didn’t immediately go off to hunt down the E-grade enemies roaming nearby. Perhaps it was because the B-grade her, who was near the top of the food chain, did not care for them at all.
