Secretary Wang immediately hurried over. “Young Madam, why don’t you sit in CEO Qin’s car and go back together? We’re finished with our business deal.”
Lu Weixi was about to reject him, but the man on her moved slightly but had no intention of getting up. Instead, he felt that the position was uncomfortable, so he tilted his head, retracted his legs into the car and changed to another position and lay there.
“But my car…”
Secretary Wang said again, “Young Madam, you can take our car to work tomorrow. We’re currently by the streets and it doesn’t look good if we continue like this.”
As if to affirm his words, the driver behind them turned on the headlights and honked in frustration. Lu Weixi could not help but nod. Secretary Wang had even helped her and Qin Zhiyou’s legs into the car and closed the door.
The entire car ride was very smooth, and Lu Weixi had expended a large amount of effort, before she finally escaped from Qin Zhiyou’s grasp. During the process, Qin Zhiyou seemed to be slightly more alert as he knitted his brows slightly when he saw that he was lying on Lu Weixi. Then, he pressed his lips against each other, arranged his clothes and sat aside.
Luckily this journey did not take too long. In almost no time at all, the car arrived at the West Mountain Villa.
Qin Zhiyou’s car door was closer to the villa. Lu Weixi got off from her side of the car and walked around the back of the vehicle, and the moment she walked beside him, Secretary Wang spoke, while holding one side of Qin Zhiyou’s body. “Young Madam, could yー”
Before he could finish his sentence, Lu Weixi hurriedly called for the helpers. “Master has drunk too much. Hurry up and help him in. Prepare some hangover soup as well.”
The moment Lu Weixi finished her sentence, Qin Zhiyou, who was originally still standing haphazardly behind her, suddenly flung Secretary Wang away, perhaps because he was afraid of being humiliated in front of the servants. Then he breathed out deeply and staggered ahead himself.
Lu Weixi did not care much about him, as she saw him walk into the study first, before Secretary Wang and the helper followed him in with the hangover soup. There was a toilet and a bed in the study, so perhaps he might just rest there.
After it quietened down, Lu Weixi went to the bathroom and washed up, before putting on her skincare products. Suddenly, someone knocked on the door. She hurriedly put down the bottles in her hands, put on a jacket, and went out.
Secretary Wang was standing outside. “Young Madam, CEO Qin has drunk too much today. Could I trouble you to go to the study and take care of him? It’s inconvenient for the helpers to do so.”
Lu Weixi slightly knitted her brows. Secretary Wang even suspected that if it was not because she could not act too overboard in front of an outsider like him, she would have definitely rejected him.
Still, she did not hesitate for long before she nodded. “Of course.”
Secretary Wang heaved a sigh of relief. “Then, Young Madam, I’ll take my leave first. I’ll come and pick you up at 8 am tomorrow. If you need anything, just call me.”
Lu Weixi nodded. “Thank you.”
After Lu Weixi entered the study, she directly instructed the helpers, “Go down first. I can handle it from here.”
The helpers nodded, left the room and closed the door behind them.
Qin Zhiyou was currently lying by his side on the bed with a towel randomly draped over him, and his brows were tightly knitted as if he was not sleeping very well. However, his drunk behavior was still decent – at least he did not vomit or act like a crazy person.
Lu Weixi glanced at him before she covered him with a blanket and took off his leather shoes. Suddenly, she heard him muttering softly and wondered what he was saying. Upon listening closer, his lips quivered.
