Black Hunter - Chapter 13

I frowned with arrogance and put my hand in the spider’s belly.

“There is nothing.”

I opened its chest and split its head, but I could not see any beads. We scrubbed the dirt from our hands and looked at people wandering through spiders. They also didn’t get beads. I remembered that Kim Byung-woo didn’t show up, but now I knew why.

“The spider has no beads.”

Park Minji opened her eyes wide.

“How do you know that?”

“Kim Byeong-woo is not here.”

My curiosity about him, and even my doubts, got stronger.

How did Kim Byung-woo know?

Park Minji didn’t believe me and went to catch a spider. The black beads are not very useful, so she looked very nervous. I was anxious before eating the blue beads that made me stronger. If I had a different situation or had too much luck to eat another marble, it would not work.

After a while, the spiders ran out of town to threaten people. Only then did Kim Byeong-Woo appear. And it attracted people’s attention with unusual behavior.

He started burning a new fire and started burning the legs of the spider. I quickly ran with Park Min-Ji.

“Can you eat this?”

Kim Byung-Woo’s answer was still short.

“Yes.”

Then he cut off the tip of the claw and began to bite and eat the rest of it like a stick.

You can eat it.

I broke some legs and put them in the fire.

“You can eat it.”

Park Min-Ji looked at the spider’s leg with uncertain eyes. It looked disgusting, so I didn’t seem to be willing to eat.

That’s why people are coming. Senior leader Kang Yoo-sik murmured.

“Can I really eat it?”

I took out one leg, cut it in half, gave one to Park Min-Ji, and chewed the other. When I ate the goblin yesterday, it was short, but I felt a stinging pain, but this did not cause pain. The taste wasn’t delicious, but the texture was smooth.

“It’s worth eating.”

Said Do-Kyun Han.

“That bastard is the guy who ate goblin meat to force others. You can never eat that.”

He spoke with his arms crossed.

“I won’t eat.”

Kim Byung-woo looked at me instead of chewing his legs.

“Did you eat goblins?”

“Yes.”

“How much?”

“I ate one arm and the legs.”

“You digested everything without vomiting?”

“Yes.”

I’m very excited because I’m watching him raise his eyebrows.

“Can’t we eat it?”

“It’s toxic.”

Kang Dong-taek opened his eyes.

“That motherfucker ate the goblin forcibly to poison me. This is really bad.”

It’s exciting to hear the bully boss say it’s terrible.

“Listen, everyone. There’s a crazy man in the world who will do dangerous things that could kill him to annoy others.”

“The crazy guy is in front of me.”

He alternated between Park Min-Ji and me and laughed at his mouth.

“You’ve gotten a one-year-old.”

I really don’t like this man.

“Don’t look down.”

Kang Dong-taek turned the ball over the muzzle to Choi Yu-mi.

“You rejected our offer, but then that bastard has the chick! Does that mean you will accept our offer now?”

Choi Yoomi cut him out.

“Park Min-Ji is not with us.”

Kang Dong-taek licked his lips when he saw members of the beehive gathered near Choi Yu-mi.

“I will treat you well, so get out of the beehive.”

No one responds.

“If you are under the queen bee, you are more likely to die. I will surely protect you so that you can survive to the end, so come over here.”

When no one responded, he turned to my company.

“My offer is also valid for you.”

Hahn Do-Gyun approached me and chuckled.

“I don’t like giving that.”

I alternated with Do-Gyun Han and Byeong-Chul Song attached to it.

“We had five Iljins in Dong Taek, but I only see three.”

Do-Gyun Han’s face became dark.

“They died in the hands of a goblin yesterday.”

Kim Byeong-woo finished his meal and stood up. Suh Su-myeong asked him carefully.

“Isn’t the spider leg toxic?”

Kim Byung-woo ignored the question. Suh Su-myeong passed his disregard insignificantly, but Kang Dong-taek was inclined.

“You’re cheeky.”

When Kang Dong-taek stopped in front, Kim Byung-woo said.

“Get off.”

Kang Dong-taek’s lips shook.

“No matter how strong you are, there is a limit in being alone.”

When Kim Byung-woo stepped up, Kang Dong-taek stepped back and made way. It sounded a fierce warning of pride.

“There is no future for General Dokbul.”

“Let’s go too.”

He took two ripe spider legs and left the park with Min-Ji. People gazed at the spider and eventually bowed to hunger and ate their legs. A few people with a weak stomach had nausea, but most of them swallowed it.

“How did Kim Byung-woo know that he could eat the spider?”

Park Min-Ji opened her eyes narrowly and asked.

“I don’t know.”

“Aren’t you curious?”

“Of course, I’m curious.”

“Ask him.”

“If I ask questions, you may be kicked out. The most important thing for us now is to follow him and act the same, not to settle for curiosity.”

I soon learned how wrong his thoughts were. When we got back home, Kim Byung-Woo was putting my clothes outside the door.

“Why are you doing this?”

“This is my home.”

“You mean you’re kicking me out?”

“Yes.”

“I’ve been here for two days, but why are you doing this all of a sudden? I’m sorry.”

He glanced at me with a cold glance, as if the ice had been falling and then went home.

The sound of the door closing sounded like a thunderstorm. I was angry and knocked on the door hard for ten minutes, but he didn’t come out. Park Min-Ji grabbed my wrist.

“Stop. I’m the one who changed his mind because I’m here.”

“I have something to ask.”

I kept knocking on the door. After biting it and holding on for an hour, Kim Byung-woo came out with a knife.

“Do you want to die?”

Frankly, I was scared, but I didn’t back down. He spits out quickly before he acts.

“I thought while knocking on the door for an hour. Why did your attitude suddenly change? At first, I blamed myself for doing something wrong. But no matter how I thought about it, I didn’t remember doing anything particularly wrong. I behaved the same as before. So I changed the direction of my thoughts. You didn’t kick me out when I wasn’t with anyone else, and I was only focused on eating beads and getting stronger? Why are you treating me differently now?”

Kim Byeong-Woo put a knife in and crossed his arms.

“Why do you think I did it?”

“I came to the conclusion that there was a good reason. But I was stuck there. A strong person like you doesn’t have any benefit from having a weak person like me next to you. Then the moment I came out, an interesting thought came up.”

When I paused, he hurried me to continue.

“I am also very interested. What is that idea?”

“It was me.”

“… … ? “

“Yellow beads with black stripes! That attracted your interest.”

Park Min-Ji intervened.

“Why is that interesting?”
