Black Hunter - Chapter 12

“I have never eaten beads. I wanted to, but nothing came out.”

She looked at me for a while and got dressed.

“You don’t have to.”

“Excuse me.”

“Take it.”

Park Min-Ji turned and leaned against the door.

“Is it really okay?”

“It’s okay.”

I pulled the beads out of the hidden place and put them out.

“The chunky one looks dirty and tasteless.”

“right?”

Park Min-Ji smiled sadly, holding a bead in her hand.

“I really want to live.”

“Me too.”

“Can I buy this if I eat it?”

“There will at least be some hope.”

“Okay. Hope.”

Park Min-Ji swallowed the beads. And she moaned.

“Why? Are you sick?”

After all, black is ominous. Eating, I experienced the pain of bowel twisting and tearing of the brain when I ate it.

What is really that black thing?

She brought the back of her head to the door. She seemed exhausted like a worker for two consecutive nights.

“It doesn’t hurt, but I don’t have strength.”

As she faltered, she quickly rose to bed.

“You don’t have to act like you forced me.”

“It’s not smoke. I just need to release something.”

She fell asleep while lying down. I also fell asleep watching the sleeping woman.

* * *

I woke up because there was banging on the floor. Park Min-Ji was jumping in place.

“What are you doing?”

“I ate beads, but nothing changed.”

“Me too. Black is not very helpful.”

Her shoulders hung low like she was disappointed.

“I will go.”

I followed her and spoke.

“Are we breaking up now?”

She hit my chest with a fist.

“It’s our first day today.”

I smiled brightly and sent her off. No, I tried to send her off, but Choi Yoo-mi stood outside the house.

“Um.”

The queen bee was standing in front of my house, and I felt sorry for some reason. Choi Yoo-mi looked at me with burning eagle eyes and ground her teeth.

“There is no need to return.”

This woman is making a loud noise.

“I’m not part of the honeycomb. I don’t intend to go there.”

“I’m not talking to you.”

Choi Yoo-mi was talking to Park Min-Ji while staring at me. Park Min-ji’s face turned pale.

“Sister!”

“Don’t call me, sister.”

“Why are you doing this?”

Choi Yoo-mi still looked at me and said.

“Did you give that horned dog your body?”

When Park Min-Ji couldn’t answer, Choi Yoo-mi shrugged strongly.

“Answer me!”

Park Min-Ji still could not answer.

“She’s my girlfriend. What’s wrong with that?”

“It doesn’t matter if you are in love. But if there were beads involved, then there will be a problem.”

“We are in love.”

Bang!

Choi Yoo-mi hit the floor with a stick.

“If you looked like Kim Soo-Hyun, Park Bo-gum, Wan Ji-wan, and Kang Dong-won, you would have convinced me. There are people in the world who have looks that can make someone fall in love at first sight. But not you!” [TL: Google them, they’re famous male stars in Korea.]

I had a fever.

“When I take a shower and watch it in the winter, I look handsome for a while.”

Because of Choi Yoo-mi’s strong presence, a fat lady was standing nearby. The young lady jumped out and pointed her finger.

“I heard you bargaining for beads.”

Choi Yoo-mi looked at Park Min-Ji for the first time after the conversation began.

“Did you get a bead?”

Park Min-Ji replied, biting her lips.

“Yes.”

“Don’t come near the hall.”

Choi Yoo-mi turned around coldly after speaking. Park Min-Ji couldn’t make excuses and sat down crying. I followed and made excuses and interjections instead.

“My friend died, and it hurt me a lot.”

“Many of our friends are dead.”

“The beads were voluntarily given to me as a remembrance. It wasn’t a deal.”

“No matter what excuses we make, we can’t deny the fact that we exchanged sex and beads.”

“You can overlook one mistake.”

Choi Yoo-mi grabbed my ear. I tried to escape, but I began to eat a blue marble.

“If I accept Park Min-JI, another member of the team will exchange their body for beads and safety, and the horned dogs will come out and use it to exploit us. Bullies will make something like sex, slavery.”

“It’s a sex slave in the 21st century. Don’t go too far.”

“I had enough of you horned dogs.”

“The damage is terrible.”

“If our group collapses, women will be treated as subhumans. I know.”

Choi Yoo-mi went away from my cheeks. Her belief was so firm that I couldn’t afford to persuade her more. When I came back to the seat, Min-Ji Park was still shaking.

“I am dead.”

I was sad.

“I’ll protect you.”

“Can the two of us survive?”

“We have Byeong-Woo Kim.”

“He is a bully. He won’t protect us. “

“Of course, he won’t protect us. But it’s safe to stay near him.”

“Would you like to get kicked out?”

“Do you know what Byeongwoo says the most to other people?”

She said carefully.

“Leave?”

“Yes. Leave.”

We laughed face to face.

“He never said that to me, and when I entered the next room, he didn’t kick me out. It’s better than ours, though.”

Just in time, Kim Byung-woo returned. I asked.

“Where have you been?”

“In the forest.”

“What did you do?”

“I don’t know.”

Then, with a cold breeze, he went into the house. Park Minji asked in an uneasy tone.

“Are you really close?”

“He didn’t tell me to go.”

“That’s very comforting.”

I was sarcastic, and my mind was stable. We sat side by side in front of the house and watched people gather together one by one. They were filling their hunger with water.

A strange sound came out of the crematorium. When I turned my eyes, a spider with a human’s size was coming into the crowd.

I screamed at Byeong-Woo’s door.

“Byeong-woo, a giant spider came in.”

Spiders cling to the goblin carcass and eat it. Seo-soo-myeong raised his voice by striking the sword against the sword.

“It’s an attack! Everyone comes out!”

I waited for Kim Byung-woo to come out as I watched people fight with spiders. Park Minji said with a spear.

“Is he sleeping?”

She knocked on the door with a window. Even if I fell asleep after drinking sleeping pills, it was loud enough to wake me up, but Kim Byung-woo did not come out.

“No. We should fight together.”

Park Min-Ji urged me.

“What are you doing? I need to get a bead.”

I was not used to not seeing Kim Byung-woo, who always fought at the forefront. I was unwilling to fight without him, but as she said, we need beads.

“let’s go.”

I approached the spider, holding the ax used by the goblin warrior and the sword in both hands. Spiders were eating the goblins. So it was easy to catch. It was rumored that people who hadn’t come out of the house were also spider hunting when the goblins raided.

We joined forces and caught a spider. Park Min-Ji caught the sleeve of the other spider and tried to attack it.

“Wait a minute. Let’s slash this spider.”

I stepped on the spider’s leg, put a knife in it’s stomach and drew it underneath. It was really disgusting because a yellow fluid was flowing out.

“Oh, damn it.”
